Anatome (Jaime Preciado/Pierce The Veil)

Alexis's POV

I had used up my days off being by Jaime's side. I only left when I had to perform concerts with Lights, Travis, Dalton and Vance. I refused to leave for anything else. Erin and Vic brought food for me seeing as I was being stubborn and wouldn't move. Jaime's condition has stayed the same, still in a coma, unsure of when he'll wake up. If I could, I'd stay by Jaime's bedside until he woke up but I had to leave to go to a new venue in two hours and I was desperate for Jaime to wake up.

"Lex, you need to go soon." Mike said as he entered Jaime's room.

"I know but I need to stay." I said and held Jaime's hand.

"Lex, we'll keep you updated when you're gone." Mike said and patted my back. I sighed and turned to Jaime again.

"Jaime, I have no idea if you can hear me but PLEASE wake up. I am begging you to come out of the coma and come back to us. Everyone misses you and need you, your fans do, your family, Vic, Mike, Tony, Me, our baby. PLEASE come back." I said and felt tears fill my eyes again. I feel Mike lift me up, sit in my place, put me on his lap and hugged me. Mike started rocking backwards and forwards slowly as he held me. I slowly calmed down and I hugged Mike. I kept one arm wrapped around Mike and held Jaime's hand with my right hand. I squeeze his hand softly and I feel a squeeze back. I tense up.

"Mike! He squeezed my hand!" I said, excitement filling me. Mike's eyes grew wide.

"Try talking to him again." He said, getting excited.

"Jaime, can you hear me? If you can, wake up." I said. We heard Jaime sigh and his heart monitor machine started bleeping faster.

"Mike, get a doctor!" I said. Mike nodded and ran out the door. Jaime started stirring. Mike entered the room again with a doctor.

"He's starting to wake up. He should be fully awake within a few minutes." The doctor said and checked the machines. Jaime stopped moving then his beautiful, brown eyes slowly opened.

"Ugh, I feel dreadful." He groaned as he fully opened his eyes.

"Jaime!" I squeal and hug him. He groans slightly, chuckles and hugs me back.

"I missed you so fucking much." I said and started crying happy tears.

"Where am I?" He asked as he scanned his surroundings.

"You're in ICU. You had your heart restarted after being drugged." The doctor said and unplugged Jaime from most of the machines that were in his room.

"Wow." He murmured.

"It's great to have you back." Mike said and grinned from ear to ear.

"Good to be back too." Jaime grinned and they hugged. Normally, they act 'tough' so this was an adorable moment.

"Do you remember anything from that night?" I ask Jaime. Jaime pats the side of his bed, indicating for me to lie beside him. I start shuffling on to the bed instantly and Jaime wrapped his arms around me. Oh god, I missed being held by him. He made me feel safe.

"All I can remember is the fifth shot I took tasting funny but I thought it was just my drunk state, vomiting then spitting blood. I remember Tony freaking out then I passed out." He said, reciting to us what he remembered.

"We got told by the doctor that someone may have drugged your drink? Do you remember seeing anyone do that?" Mike asked.

"No, I don't. I wasn't particularly paying attention." Jaime said and I snuggled further into him. I really missed this man.

"Jaime, you died. I never felt so scared in my life. I thought you were going to leave all of us." I whispered.

"Lex, I'm never leaving. You couldn't get rid of me if you tried, I'm sticking to you like a leech. I'll always be here, especially for you and the little bean." Jaime said and rubbed my belly. He rested his head on my belly and listened to our baby.

"How's the little bean?" Jaime asked.

"The bean is fine." I said and Jaime kissed me. I never grew tired of his kisses, they were always amazing and I feel like the happiest person on Earth.

"Hey Lex, we got you som- Jaime!" I heard Vic yell from the doorway. I instantly felt huge weights hit me and I see that Vic and Tony had dive bombed onto us.

"Guys! Pregnant woman here." I said. They apologised and got off carefully.

"When did you wake up?!" Tony exclaimed.

"Just a few minutes ago. I feel like shit, I need morphine." Jaime whined. Sue me but he looked really adorable when he whined. He looked like a little kid, sticking out his bottom lip and making his eyes grow wide.

"You'll get some when the doctor comes back." I said and kissed his cheek. Jaime smiles and gently squeezes our entwined hands.

"God, you should've seen Lex. She was a state. She was so moody when we tried to get her to move from your bedside." Tony said. I glared at him and Jaime snickered.

"That's pretty adorable. How long was I out?" Jaime asked.

"A couple of days." Vic said.

"I have to go in a few hours, our mini tour break is over and I leave tonight." I said. Jaime sighed.

"That does suck but I'm glad you're still touring. At least I got to see your beautiful face before you left." I blushed and kissed Jaime.

"Lex? Jaime? Really?" Mike whined. I laughed and flipped Mike off, who decided to do a love heart back to me. Erin and Lights entered after fifteen minutes from baby clothes shopping and their reaction was similar to Vic and Tony's except they didn't dive bomb onto us seeing as they couldn't.

"When can I get out?" Jaime asked the doctor as he entered the room to give him morphine.

"In about three/four days." The doctor said whilst administering the morphine. Jaime nodded and sighed.

"Lex, I hate to be the one that says this but we need to go." Lights said. I sighed and nodded. I turned to face Jaime and saw his sad facial expression.

"I'm sorry Jaime but I do need to go." I said. He continued to look sad then nodded.

"I know you do. I'm just going to really miss you and the little bean." He said and placed both of his hands on my bump.

"And we'll miss you too." I said. We leaned forward and kissed again, lingering for a few seconds, not wanting to break it. We pulled away and hugged for a final time before Vic helped me off the bed. I hugged everyone in the room and said goodbye. They all said goodbye back, I blew a kiss to Jaime and Lights & I walked out the room. Lights wrapped her arm around my shoulders, I wrapped my arm around her waist and we walked out the hospital together.

"I told you he'd be fine." She said. I sighed and smiled slightly.

"I know and you were right. I just want to find out which scheming, conniving little bitch drugged him." I hissed.

"Don't worry, we all want to find out and we'll help too. The police have been informed about this incident and they're checking the club's CCTV." Lights reassured me as we got into the van that was taking us back to our tour bus. We continued talking the rest of the journey and we pulled up outside the bus after some time. We got out and boarded the bus.

"Is Jaime alright?" Vance asked as soon as we entered the bus.

"He woke up two hours ago." I said brightly. Vance cheers and hugged me. Dalton and Travis overheard me and joined the hug. Lights got pulled in and we all had a group hug. Maybe things were looking up now.
