Alysha rolled over and I heard a muffled "okay", and then slight snoring. I looked over at the digital clock on my nightstand. I groaned quietly as I realized that it said 4:30 am. I decided to not risk going back to sleep and dreaming about her again. These dreams-er, memories- were getting more and more frequent. Could leaving her like that have been a mistake?

I looked next to me at the sleeping Alysha, my beautiful girlfriend, whom I loved- or at least I thought I did. She grumbled a little and rolled over to face me, still asleep. Stop it Mike, you love Alysha, not THAT girl.

I sat up and slipped on my boxers, then stepped onto the cold wood floor. I continued to think about the dream all the way down the stairs, though I tried not to. I decided a drive to clear my mind would be nice. I looked around for a piece of paper and a pen, found them, and left Alysha a note in case she woke up while I was out. I went back upstairs and placed the note on her nightstand and kissed her forehead. She stirred a little, but did not wake. I quietly walked over to the closet and pulled on some jeans and an old hoodie that I'd borrowed from Tony and had never returned. He didn't notice, so I just kept it. I grabbed my keys and quietly hurried downstairs and out the front door.

As I climbed into the car, the smell of Alysha's favorite perfume hit me with a wave of fruity scents. I remembered that she'd borrowed my car to go to Jack's house yesterday, and I suddenly remembered as well that she had not come back until 2 am this morning. She's been doing that more and more often. I pushed the troubling thoughts and possibilities that commonly associated themselves with that type of situation aside, and started the car.

I decided to turn on the radio to keep that sudden realization out of my head for the time being. "Backseat Serenade" by All Time Low started playing, and as soon as I heard the first words, the memories of my night with Skye and the dreams I'd been having came flooding back.

Alex's voice filled the small vehicle, and I continued to think of how great that night was. Skye was so gorgeous, and perfect, and not to mention GREAT at sex.

Maybe I do have feelings for her. I have Alysha though, what am I going to do?

Suddenly my phone buzzed. I ignored it at first, figuring it was just Alysha, texting me that she got my note, and wondering where exactly I was. But it continued to buzz, telling me that it was a phone call, instead of a text. I rolled my eyes as I pulled out my phone, mentally preparing myself to get and earful from a pissed off Alysha, and then I saw the contact name. I saw her name and picture flashing on my screen. I quickly unlocked my phone and pressed the green answer button.

"Skye?"
