May These Noises Startle You In Your Sleep

Marie's POV
"Mike are you okay? I'm not trying to annoy you it's just you seem different, you seem as if your thinking about something important." I asked Mike in a quiet voice.
"Yeah I am but it's not that important, don't worry it's going to be okay and Vic's going to be A okay." Mike responded as if he was saying it to himself instead of me.
"Are you sure you seemed a little off when we were at your house, Mike you can tell me what's wrong it's okay to tell me stuff ." I told him with a little reassuring nod.
"Marie I said it's nothing!" Wow that's the first time I've heard Mike snap at me before. I guess I showed it on my face because when we were at a stop light he said sorry and held my hand for reassurance that everything was going to be okay with Vic and Jaime.

Mike's POV
God I can't believe that I snapped at Mar' like that and I didn't mean to hurt her but I was angry at Jaime and at myself for feeling a little attracted to Mar' but I think it's because I'm vulnerable. I've been feeling this way since Vic was in a coma when Jaime hit him but I only think that's because of what's happened in the past few day's. Lord I haven't heard from Tony in at least 4 day's and me and him normally hang out a lot but he just hasn't been the same since the whole accident happened. I hope he's okay I really should call him today when I get the chance.

Vic's POV
"Hey Hime time , have you called Mike and Tony yet?" I asked Jaime softly.
"No I haven't. And I haven't gotten the chance to call Mike or Marie or Tony." Wait who's Marie?
And as soon as I said that Mike and this really pretty girl walked in with Mike's arm wrapped around her waist. She looked as if she's been crying.
"Michael my man how's it been?" I asked him using his full name knowing it's a joke.
"Ha-Ha, Victor you're okay and you're asking me how's it been when you're stuck in here, I have to admit that it's been hell without you around for a few days, and poor Mar' here has been worried about you since *cough* someone didn't think to tell her until it was the last minuet, which had worried her even more than she should be." Mike had said as he threw a sharp glance at Jaime.
"Well is that the pretty lady's name that's standing over there?" I had said as I had sent a wink her way. Awe I could tell that I had made her blush because she hid her perfect face in her bright blue hair and hid behind Mike.
"Vic you don't remember Marie? Damn you and Jaime had a fight over her !" Okay now I'm really confused.
"What ?! Jaime you have a lot of explaining to do !" I had shouted as I threw a quick glare towards Jaime.
"Hey I never got the chance to tell you how you got in here you just woke up and comforted me when you heard me crying!" He had shouted back.
"So that's all you're going to say after what's happened ?! Jaime that's a little low even for you. And I can't believe that you didn't tell him when he first woke up, I mean you were the one to put my brother in here for 3 days!" Mike at that point had gotten into Jaime's face and yelled back at him.
Wait I didn't know that this was all over that pretty lady over there.
"Yes Vic it was all over me evidently." Marie had said with an awkward wave towards me.
Oops I guess I was thinking out loud I need to stop that.

Jaime's POV
"Look Mike I'm sorry man but I didn't have the nerve to tell him yet and, actually I didn't expect him to wake up yet!" I had said to Mike who was in fact still in my face madder then he's ever been.
"But hey Vic I'm happy that you're awake now bro it's really been hell without you we've all missed you." I turned slightly towards Vic.
"Well I'm glad you all have missed me but what the hell happened ! Someone's going to tell me and their going to tell me now or I'm going to call Turtle and ask him because if anyone's noticed he's not here and I think he'd like to hear that I'm okay too ! So Jaime you better tell me now or I swear to god I'm going to kick you outta here!" Vic had used his loud stern voice which sometimes had an effect on me.
Oh god I guess I should have told him but how am I going to tell him, maybe I should start from when he ran into Marie then maybe he'll remember her and how he liked her.
"Okay just calm down tiger and I'll tell you. It happened the day you ran into Marie here and then we all hung out together and I had gotten mad at you because you had asked out Marie and she had said yes to you. So then we went to talk about it and me and you got into a fight inside the house and you went to punch me in the face but I had hit you before you got near me and you hit your head badly on the coffee table and I had panicked and that's when no one would talk to each other except when it was the other one's turn to watch over you and I don't think Turtle or Mike will ever forgive me for what I did and hell I wouldn't forgive myself either." I said as shame and sadness had laced their way into my voice
"Well I could see why I'd fight over her, she's so beautiful." Did he not just hear what I had told him? But that's how he is sometimes, a smooth talking kind of guy.
