... We All Fall Down

It's been about a year since Tony had come out of the hospital, five months since we got married. Dennis had just turn one, and already started to walk, and roll on the ground. He looks a lot like my father, and his father, very handsome. "Where's Owen?" Tony asked
. "He said he was going to work." Tony comes up and sits next to me, putting his head on my shoulder
. "What you doing?"
"A resume. Since Dennis is a little older, and there's been some peace in our lives, I thought I could start working." "Where at?"
"Well... As a real estate secretary."
"That's great! They make some good money." I nod and continue to type. He kisses my cheek and goes to our son who was watching some MickeyMouse Clubhouse. I type some last finishing touches and I was done. I just hope they accept me with the tattoos. I've just gotten a tattoo of a dreamcatcher from my biceps to my elbow, and a black roses vine from my shoulder to my wrists on my other arm. I printed out my résumé and put it in a folder. I stand up from the computer and went with my boys, who were watching Ninja Turtles now. I shake my head and sat next to Dennis. He looks up at me and smiles
. "Nita?" Owen's voice yelled from outside. I went to open the door and see him standing on the doorway.
"Hey, what sup?" He enters the house, closing the door behind him.
"I.. Need to.. Talk."
"Uhm. Okay."
"I can't stay here."
"Why not?"
"I've been trying to minimize the pain but I can't. I'm going to travel somewhere for sometime and I'll come back when I feel like I'm ready." I give him a hug and he hugs me back.
"I support your choice, but you have to call me where you stop at okay? I want to know." He nods. "But other than that, may the favors be on your side."
"Thanks Nita, I'm just happy you're happy, but I need sometime alone."
"I know you do. See you later alligator." I said and kissed his cheek.
"After a while crocodile."
