I was putting on a black shirt, that went with my white skater skirt and black socks, when I got a phone call from a unknown number. "Hello?" "Is this Nita?" The sweet voice said. "This is she. Who's this?" "It's Alysha. I'm Mike's girlfriend." "Oh Hey! Nice to finally to hear you." "Ha! That makes two of us. Anyway, Mike told me that it would be a great idea if the four of us girls could have a day." "Yeah! I'm totally up for it." "Well I actually have a free day today and tomorrow. Maybe we can you know.. Meet each other and party or something." "Meet each other.. I can't party." "That's alright.. Today? At.. Umm... 3?" I look at the clock an see it was 2. "Yeah! That's excellent. Meet you at the Mexican grill? The one by the bay?" "Yeah.. See you there!" "Bye!" The line goes dead. I change Dennis into some warm clothing since it was pretty chilly. I put on my vans and fixed my hair. Dennis starts to coo and giggle. "Where going somewhere baby." I said and put him in his car seat. "Come on. Let's go meet uncle mike's girl." ------------ "DANI!" I squealed and gave her a hug. "My favorite redhead!" She laughs. "Jess!" I gave her a hug and then stood infront of a blonde. "Alysha?" She smiles and nods. I give her a hug and she returns it. Danielle grabs Dennis from the stroller and sits down. "Awh! Who's the baby?" Alysha says. "That's my son.. And Tony's." I said and she looks at me. "Is that why you can't party?" I nod. "He's so adorable! He looks like the both of you! May I?" I nod and Danielle hands him to her. She instantly puts her arms around Dennis and starts bouncing him."how old is he?" "7 months." Then it hit me. Five more months and my baby is one. "Aren't you a cute baby." She cooed to him, making Dennis grab her sunglasses. "Oh! No sunglasses... Wait." She takes off her shades and put them on Dennis. "He looks so fashionable." She turns him around and he was smiling so wide. "Momma treatment. I do this to my mother every six months." Danielle said. "We decided to make you relax for a few minutes.. Then we could go to somewhere after." "I totally would ladies. But I have Dennis to take care of... Anyway, like this color?" I turn my hand and show them my mint color nails. They all nodded and smiled. "Leave him with your mom." Jess suggested. "It'll just be a few hours." "I could call her and ask her." I got my phone and ringed my mom. "Nita." "Hey momma... Can I ask you something?" "Go for it." The girls cross their fingers and closed their eyes. "I was wondering if you can babysit Dennis for a few hours." There was a long silence. "Mom?" "Nita, remember you are engaged, and a mother. Don't drink too much, and don't wear heels, your back will be killing you tomorrow." "Why do you say that?" "Because I asked my mother the same thing when I wanted to go clubbing with my friends. I'll love to take care of my grandson." "Wow mom. Rebel huh?" "A little bit. When are you dropping him off?" I gave the girls a thumbs up and they started to cheer. "In an hour. Thank you so much momma." "Of course sweetie."
