This Is What Makes us Girls

After my friends and I went shopping, we went our separate ways home. I decided to walk because I needed to clear my mind. It really relaxes me.

I began to think about my mother. How she used to be sweet and caring, now she's a snobby bitch. I guess when we got money, she thought she was the shit.

I hate to admit it but I drink just so she could give me some attention. Now it sounds like I'm an attention whore. She only cares about what the neighbors think, money, and make sure the spotlight's on her.

Now, before this turns into a pity party, I arrive "home". I walk up to the door and I can feel the intensity. It's unbearable, but I can't turn back now.

I open the door and speak of the bitch. She was sitting eloquently on her favorite emerald green chair. It looked like something crawled up her ass and died. She has her lips in a tight straight line, and she looks ready to scold.

"Elizabeth, where have you been? You are an embarrassment to this family!" My "mother" yelled.

"Why do you care?" I snapped at her. "Tell me how much of an embarrassment I am." Being sarcastic with her.

"I only care because I'm your mother. Also, you do everything wrong and I'm sick of you. All you do is steal everything and you just drink and get high." She yells.

"Wait, since when did you become a mother to me. I don't steal everything, I only steal your debit card. Lastly, I only drink, I don't get high, it tastes disturbing to me." I yell back.

"That's it I'm done with you. You're going to an academy to better yourself. I'm sending you there tomorrow and you can't refuse." She sends me a grimace smile.

"Bitch!" I run up to my room.

"Thank you!" I hear her yell.

How am I going to tell my friends. Who am I going to meet. My "mother" is a bitch. What if I meet the guy again? I guess we'll see.
