Darlin you'll be okay

Finally the trial had started, I wish I could be with Sam, but I would've missed too much school, and I really don't want to be one of those seniors who fail a class and have to come back to do summer school. I'll never get into college if that happens. The only day I'll have to miss is Today, for my testimony, but that should only take a hour or two.

I walked into the courtroom, in a suit and pulled off my shades. I walked over to the bench behind a small fence-like barricade, that separated the benches from where the action would take place.

Samantha was sworn in and questioned by both a man who I assumed was Andy's father and Samantha's lawyer. Samantha was wearing a nice black dress with converse. I could tell that the questions she was being asked were very hard on her, she was very close to breaking down.

I was the next witness to be called up.

"I call my next witness, Victor Vincent Fuentes." Andy's father said.

I inhaled deeply and walked up to the witness stand.

"Put your hand on the bible." a lady instructed as she had Samantha. I put my hand on the bible. "Do you swear to say the whole truth and nothing but the truth?"

"Yes." I replied. She pulled the bible away. I took a look around the court room. Most of it was wood, and smelt like old people. It looked exactly like it does in movies.

Andy's father walks up. "So Mr. Fuentes what is your relationship to Samantha?"

"Samantha is my girlfriend." I said smiling at Samantha, who turned trying to hide the fact that she was blushing and smiling a big happy smile.

"What were you doing when she got attacked by her father after the court ordered move out?"

"I was helping her pack her stuff, along with her best friend. Her best friend, Andrew and I were putting boxes out when we heard a piercing scream."

"A piercing scream?"

"Yes."

"Please explain to the courtroom what happened next."

"Well, Andrew and I ran back to she Samantha pinned down under her father, Mr. Ross, and he was hitting her. I pulled out my phone and hit record, while Andrew jumped in. I set my phone in a place that would catch all that was about to go down. Andrew punched Mr. Ross in the nose, and he was temporarily dazed, so we grabbed him and threw him off of her and he hit his head. I guess that his fiancee saw, because she came running in and attacked Samantha. We threw her off into the hall way and she ended up to hurt to keep trying. I picked up Samantha and ran her out to the car. Andrew and I got the rest of her stuff as quickly as possible, because we knew if we came back there again, one of us would end up hurt. As we were going to leave I remembered that I had left my phone and came back for it."

"Can the court room see the video?"

I handed him my phone and he plugged it into the television. It showed everything I described, plus it had Coralline telling Andy that she was going to kill Samantha.

"So Victor, Samantha must have not been to badly hurt if you finished getting her stuff, then left." Samantha's dad's lawyer asked with a smirk.

"Well not this time luckily, I've heard stories from Samantha that she was raped."

"My client told me that his daughter had gone to the hospital, because she got really badly beaten up, and when he got there to check her out, she was gone. I have a sneaking suspicion that she was at your house, is that correct?" He smirked.

"Yeah I checked her out, and took her home to my house, I didn't want her to end up in the hospital again, because her father beat her."

"That is all." The lawyer walked to his seat.

Finally I was free to go.

Hey guys the past couple of days have been crazy and I'm really sleep deprived. I'm not really into writing about court things so it takes me a lot longer to write these chapters. Sorry!
