"20 minutes until North'Charlie' sir" the pilot informed me.
"Alright Ladies! You're going to land north of 'Charlie'... Our target should be located in the master bedroom;here is the layout" Commander Fuentes also known as my father yelled over the sound of the aircraft moving. He passed out small maps of the house where 'Charlie' would be.
He stopped at me. Giving me an aggravated look. Hes still mad at me for joining the military with out any ones consent. I dont understand how he could still be upset with me-if this goes well this would be my 10th export.
"Fuentes, Will be at 'Delta' with me...Gaskarth-Barakat lead 'Charlie' " He commanded we all nodded in at the command. He handed me a small map of where 'Delta' most likely is located.
"10 Minutes until Northern 'Charlie' sir."
I could hear the lovely sounds of shots being fired. War cries from hostiles and ali's flooded into all of our ears. Knowing that was someones husband-wife-son-daughter made it even worse. I let a tear crawl over the barrier and roll onto my cheek. Not wanting to break down i turned my attention to Gaskarth.
Only to see him kissing Barakat like this would be the last time he'll be able to do it and that was the truth- the sight made me smile, Ashby silently crying as he looked at a picture of his adopted baby girl being held by Carlile(Who is a pilot for another HH-47 CSAR ) , and the slight newbie Quinn praying-holding a picture of his brothers and my brother. My father holding a Polaroid of my mother from when she first met him.
"5 Minutes until Northen 'Charlie' sir."
"CHECK YOUR PARACHUTES"
"YES SIR" We all yelled over the sound of the HH-47 CSAR door opening.
"30 seconds men" the pilot said.
All 11 men arose from their seats and waited for the last call.
"You're open!" The pilot said.
Gaskarth and Barakat hurriedly walked over to the opening and screamed "Let's go! Let's go!" As they jumped holding hands. Everyone else dittoed their actions.
Now alone with my father i waited im anticipation for the time to jump. I felt a pair of lips which could only belong to my father;press against my fore head.

I looked down onto my lap absent mindly adeline gushing through as we wait. Opening my pants pocket i pull out a neatly folded U.S.A. flag and kissed it lightly whispering "In God We Trust". I placed back inside of his home and tried to grasp reality of what im about to do.
Is this where it all went wrong?
