What's So Good About Picking Up The Pieces? (Discontinued)

Tony's P.O.V.

It was now lunch and I really wasn't in the mood for eating today. Especially after knowing I have a date with Abby again. I got my lunch anyway and sat with my small bunch or friends. They went into a conversation I didn't care about and I kind of just zoned out.

I soon found myself staring at Mike. He was eating with his friends at the lunch table and laughing away at the conversation. He threw his head back in laughter, showing off his perfect teeth. One of his friends pointed at me, noticing I was staring, I felt my cheeks turn red and quickly tore my gaze from him once he turned to look at me. I was a little too scared to turn around to check if he was still watching, but I tilted my head slightly enough to see him. He was walking my way and I suddenly felt my stomach tie in knots. I covered my face in my hands and breathed out slowly.

"Hey, Tone-bone." Mike spoke behind me. I jumped a little and he laughed. I didn't turn to look at him yet but I could feel him sit next to me. The guys at my table all turned to look at him and soon went back to there conversations.

"What? Are you just gonna ignore me now? I saw you staring." Mike said, tauntingly.

"I wasn't staring..." I argued.

"Oh, but you were." Mike chuckled. I finally turned to look at him and he shot me a nice smile. Perfect teeth. I cleared my throat, but had nothing to say.

"Why'd you tell Abby I wanted to go on a date with her?" I asked, suddenly mad again.

"Dude, she's really into you. I don't know how you're not attracted to her, but maybe this second date will change your mind?" Mike asked. I just rolled my eyes. "So what did your sister mean the other day when she said 'old habits' ?"

"N-Nothing. She was just being stupid..."

"Then why did you swear you weren't falling back on it if she was just being stupid?" Mike sure knew how to ask questions.

"Look, can you just shut up? It's nothing....and stop looking at me like that, you're too close." I mumbled. He raised his eyebrows. I wasn't sure what he was thinking, but he only sighed and moved closer. Our legs were touching now and he had his face in front of mine as if to intimidate me.

"Seriously, Mike...not again." I didn't want a repetition of what happened at my house.

"Do I need to get any closer, Tony?" Mike asked.

"No. Stop. Why are you doing this?" I asked.

"To test you."

"Test me, why?"

"It just doesn't add up to me, you know?" I raised my eyebrows, confused. "The hottest girl in school likes you and you don't want her. You say you're not gay but I can't quite believe you with everything that leaves me wondering. You just act weird around me." Mike clarified. I didn't say anything. There's nothing I can say. He's a smart guy. I can't let him know it though. I have to prove I'm 'straight'.

"For the last time, Mike, I am not gay!" I almost yelled out loud. The guys at the table turned to look at me, Mike had a smug grin on his face. I was so tired of his accusations that I got up, walking over to my sister's table. Abby was sitting with her, I sat down next to her. MIke was watching.

"Tony, he-" I cut Abby off before she could say anything and pressed my lips to hers. She kissed me back right away, wrapping her arms around my neck. Soon, I could here the cafeteria start whistling and clapping. I pulled away to look at Mike. He wasn't smiling, but he nodded, getting up and walking back over to his friends.

"Call me tonight." I spoke. Her face was bright pink, she was smiling from ear to ear.

Hey, I'm sorry I haven't updated in so long D: I still don't know when I'm getting my wifi back so don't count on me coming back soon :( it might be like another month uggh. I had this typed up and ready with a chance to steal my neighbors wifi cx for a while
