Moon Dance

"I'll be waiting." I said before turning and walking away.

A smile crossed my face as I briefly looked back to see her look at her phone. I was hoping she would text or call soon but, part of me also didn't want her too. It would be easy to move on and forget her with how busy I am, especially if she didn't contact me at all. That was three days ago and now I sit on one of our off days in Florida looking out at the ocean. There is nothing more peaceful than sitting on a quite beach at night hearing the waves crash against the shore. Just then my phone vibrated in my pocket and I looked down to see a strange number on the screen. I unlocked my phone and opened the text message.

Thought I wouldn't text you huh? :P

It was Aurora. Damn, I was just starting to forget her too.

I had my doubts. haha.
Well worry no more. I'm here.
haha. How's life?
Its alright. Had an exam today. Totally sucked. Need a vacation. you?
It's going. Have an off day in Florida today.
Huh, must be lucky to be on permanent vacation all the time. :P
Only sometimes....you begin to miss some of the things that matter most. I guess it's easier for me because I have no one to go home too.
I guess that's one way of looking at it, but you could always have me...

I stared down at the screen, not exactly sure what I should say next. I mean, I could say a lot of things like " i don't feel that way" "it was just a one time thing" but then why would I have given her my number? I should have thought this out better, I guess I'll do the only thing I can think of.

Well if you are finished with exams head out to Orlando. I'll get you from the airport and you can spend a few days experiencing the permanent vacation life.
I hit send and stared out at the moonlit ocean. What did I just get myself in to?

I wonder how this trip is going to go??? Will there be romance or total disaster???
I never thought I would enjoy writing this so much!! Also, Just to clarify. All the bold is Chris texting and the italics is Aurora. Sorry if that is at all confusing!!
