Moon Dance

I groaned as every bone in my body cracked as I got up and stumbled towards the shower. Even with the water turned as hot as it could go was soothing my tired and aching muscles and when I exited the shower I still walked with a faint limp. As I walked over to the dresser to grab some clothes I heard a faint laugh and saw Chris looking over at me with a smile on his face while he crawled to the side of the bed. As he stood I heard him groan as his own aching bones popped and saw him stumble to the shower and began to laugh too. He wasn't lying when he said we'd be sore the next day and I grumbled as I pulled up my shorts and grabbed a random tank top not realizing until it was on that it was Angelo's. I could hear the shower turn on and crawled back into bed kissing Angelo's cheeks making his eyes flutter open and look up at me.

"Good morning beautiful."

"Good morning Ange." I said kissing him softly as he wrapped his arms around me. I flipped on the tv and Angelo held me close to him as I flipped through the channels until Chris emerged from the bathroom in a towel and Angelo headed in for a shower. I walked over to Chris and pulled his towel from around his waist.

"Hey!" he grumbled.

I reached down and smacked his as playfully as he grabbed me in his arms and pulled me close to his chest, his wet hair dripping down onto my face. He kissed me gently as his fingers traced circles down my back before pulling away to put some clothes on. When Angelo walked out, towel wrapped around his waist, I was sitting on Chris's lap in a plush velvet chair.

"Who's hungry?" Chris asked.

We all looked at him and he laughed, "Take that as everyone." and grabbed his keys and headed out for some food. While Angelo got dressed I pulled off the bed sheets and threw them in the wash and put on fresh velvet red sheets before collapsing on the bed and Angelo laid next to me and pulled me into his arms.

"Name a song." he whispered.

I looked up startled, "Why?" I asked. "Just do it." he smiled down at me. I thought for a few minutes running through all of my favorite songs in my head before settling on on that had meant the world to me my whole life.

"How about 40 Days by Bless the Fall?"

Angelo smiled at me and began singing the lyrics softly "Let's hope to god that time flies like they say...."
I curled up next to him and ran my fingers up and town the smooth muscle on his arm and hummed along to his singing.

"But I'm lying awake now and holding your picture..."


CHRIS POV

I stood in line patiently awaiting the food I had ordered 20 minutes ago as my phone began to vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw a calender notification and almost freaked out because I never set them unless we were leaving for tour. I unlocked my screen and saw a memo flash across the screen, shit I forgot Aurora put her birthday in my phone and it was only a week away. As the lady finally called my name and I grabbed our food I called Angelo and asked him to meet me outside and when I arrived he was leaning against the railing playing some game on his phone.
"Hey, what's going on?" he said grabbing a bag and standing outside the door waiting for me.

"Aurora's birthday is next week. We should do something. Invite her friends or something?"

Angelo nodded, "You're right we should. I don't know any phone numbers though, just Beau's."

"I got an idea, when Aurora falls asleep tonight just go in her contact list and copy down some of the contacts, she's close to her family." I replied.

As we finalized some of the plans we headed inside and saw that Aurora had set up the table with plates and silverware and was sitting there waiting for us. I sat the food bags on the table and gave her a kiss before sitting next to her and handing out containers of food. I could get used to coming home to her and maybe even Angelo being here too.
