Moon Dance

It's been a few days now since I decided to have Aurora join me at the studio while Ricky and I worked. I have a feeling she didn't just come to support me though and that feeling is confirmed every time she looks up when the door opens, and when she doesn't see him she slumps back down into the couch. When its time for me to do my screaming parts its not hard for me to find the anger inside myself because I can see my girl thinking about another guy. That other guy being my best friend makes it hurt ten times worse but I keep it all locked in so that I can see the smile on Aurora's face when she looks at me. Angelo and I haven't spoken since our fight and if we didn't get it figured out soon we would never be in shape to tour again; I couldn't have my band falling apart over all this. As we took a break and Aurora headed out for coffee I sat contemplating if I should call Angelo or not.

"Just call him, you guys have been friends forever. Don't let this shit ruin you." Ricky said before heading outside to smoke a cig.

I scrolled through my phone finding Angelo's number and pressed call and after the fourth ring he picked up.

"Hey Ange, look I'm really sorry for what I said."

"It's cool Chris. I'm over it." Angelo said.

"Well I was wondering if you would come out to the studio?"

"Sure, I need to track some of the drum work anyway."

He said he'd be here in 30 and hung up just as Aurora was walking in with coffee and sandwiches. Shit, I didn't mention that Aurora was here when I talked to Angelo.
