The Painter.

I stood there speechless.


"Look I shouldn't have reacted the way I did Aleah. I was mostly sad and hurt. I blamed you for loosing the baby. It wasn't your fault, you had no choice." Jaime told me.


I blinked a few times and looked at Amber.


"I don't know what got into me at the hospital. I was happy you were pregnant until Jaime told me what happened and I felt the need to make him feel better but I made things worse by saying those lies. I'm really sorry Leah." Amber told me.


I sighed and crossed my arms.


"I was pregnant, yes. Am I still pregnant, no. I would've loved that baby to death guys, my heart broke in two when the doctors told me that he or she was no longer there. But you guys made me feel worse by saying those hurtful things to me."


I sat on the bed. Jaime came over to hug me.


"I really am sorry Aleah. I love you, as a friend of course." I let a small smile play on my lips hearing that.


"I love you too Hime. I forgive you guys. It's the past." I said. We all hugged and soon Vic came in with a towel around his waist.


Humming something until he stopped dead in his tracks.


"Well this is new." Was all he said making everyone laugh.


When Vic got dressed we all decided to go eat something since we were hungry.


"TACO BELL!" I shouted raising my hand.


"You have a good girlfriend Vic. Don't let her go." I heard Jaime whisper to Vic.


"Trust me I don't plan to." Vic told him.


I grabbed Amber's hand as we skipped downtown.


Soon Vic and Jaime joined us, we were all skipping like crazy people.


As we got outside Taco Bell we were laughing like teenagers again, it made goosebumps ride all over.


I let go of Amber's hand and held onto Vic's arm.


"I'm hungry." I whined like a little girl.


"We'll get you some food in your stomach." Vic cooed and poked my stomach.


I giggled and kissed him hard on the lips, I swung open the doors and bit my lip.


"Beauty before beast." I smirked at Vic.


"Than you should be going first." Vic told me.


"But you were always prettier than." I said cheesing.


"Don't lie to yourself Aleah." Vic said then he pushed me in the restaurant before him.


Vic and I ordered like 20 tacos.


"I'm going to eat most of these." I told Vic picking up my second.


"Not if I beat you to it." Vic said shoving one in his mouth.


Maybe things will go back to normal and be better now that I'm with Vic.


Maybe things will always be better.
