Thirty eight
Aleah's POV
Ever since my talk with Jaime I've been in a foul mood, he hurt me when he said that.
"Aleah, what's wrong?" Lucy asked.
"Nothing." I spat. "I'm fucking okay so leave it."
My harsh words made her flinch but she didn't push it.
"Tony, Amber & Jaime should be here soon." Mike annouced.
"Fucking perfect." I retorted. "Next time keep it to yourself."
I know it's not their fault why I'm being bitchy but I'm masking my pain with anger you know?
I had had a head ache & I hate being in this stupid cast. I wish I could just die.
I hate everything.
I tried to sleep but Lucy & Mike kept whispering & laughing.
"Can you shut the fuck up!"
Vic hasn't mood from his spot next to my bed, only once & that was because he needed to use the washroom.
Every now and then his hand would brush against mine, making my stomach erupt into butterflies.
"How are you going to tell Jaime?" Vic asked.
I bit back a nasty reply & closed my eyes, I didn't want to get mad at Vic.
"I sorta already told him..." My voice cracking at the end.
"How did he react?"
"HE THINKS I KILLED OUR BABY OKAY? IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW?" I screamed breaking into tears.
Lucy ran to my side & hugged me.
"It's my fault." I mumbled. "I should've watched where I was going."
"No. I won't let you say this about yourself." Vic growled.
Before I could reply that's when Tony, Amber & Jaime came
walking into the room.
I turned to face the wall. I didn't want to look at anyone. Especially Jaime.
"What the fuck Jaime!" Lucy raised her voice. "You think she killed the baby? Do you have to be there when she got hit to realize she didn't?"
There was along silence.
"Actually. The doctors ask if she wants to keep the baby or not." Amber said.
"THAT HAS TO BE THE STUPIDEST RULE ON THE EARTH." Lucy yelled.
"I'm with Amber on this one." Jaime said.
"Come on!" Mike said. "I was there! She didn't have a choice she was unconcious."
Soon they were bickering on about me.
I had enough. I ripped out the my IV & got out of the hospit bed. I admit it, I was shaky & wobbly but I'm not staying her any longer.
Everyone fell silent as I stood up.
"ENOUGH. OKAY? ITS MY FAULT ALRIGHT? It's my fault why I don't have a baby, I should've been more careful but I was upset, I didn't even realize I was pregnant. If I knew I would've told Jaime okay!?" I screamed at everyone.
The doctors & nurses came dancing into the room, & put me back on the bed.
"Can you tell everyone to leave.. & don't let them come back." I whispered to the nurse as she cleaned the blood that had been spilt.
"Alright. Sleep tight dear." She gave me a warm blanket & my eye lids fell heavy.
"I'm sorry to say but Ms.Diamond request that you not visit her anymore. We have to escort you out of the room." The lady said in a calm voice.
Everyone protested but they had to leave no matter what.
It was just me & my thoughts for the rest of the night.
