My World is You

“Wake up Tober!” I heard Mike scream throughout the bus
“What do you want Michael!” I screamed back
He didn’t say anything but he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.
“Michael!” I screeched as he carried me off the bus.
It was cold, we were in Alaska.
“Michael it’s cold!” I yelled
I was in a pair of shorts and a tank top.
“Here now I’ll put you down Tober.” He said
He set me down and my bare feet sank in snow.
“MY FEET!” I screamed at him
He ignored me and walked back onto the warm bus.
“You’re Vic’s girlfriend right?” Some girl in a Pierce the Veil shirt said
I looked at her hugging myself and nodded.
“You are prettier than I’ve heard. I’ve seen pictures but you are beautiful.” She said
“Thank you sweetheart let me tell you that you are gorgeous.” I said
“Thank you. Can you answer a question?” She asked
“Yes?” I asked
“How do you handle your depression? I need help with mine, there is only a few things keeping me going.” She said
“Sweetheart there is no trick to handling it. Just remember this; you are beautiful and life has its ups and downs but there is something for everyone on this planet.” I said
“Thank you.” She said
“Here do you have a pen.” I said
“Yeah.” She said
I jotted down my email address in the notebook she was carrying.
“If you ever need something email me okay?” I asked
She nodded.
“Baby what are you doing out here in the cold in shorts and a tank top?” I heard
“Your fucking brother.” I shivered
He took his jacket off and wrapped it around me.
“You two are so cute.” The girl in front of us said “By the way my name is Michaela.” She added
I smiled at her and she walked away.
“Come on Toby.” He said
I picked up my foot out of the snow and he looked at me like I was crazy. He shook his head and picked me up bridal style.
“Did Mike just carry you off the bus and set you right there?” He asked
I nodded and clung to his warm body.
“Fuck… Baby you’re going to get sick.” He said as he carried me into the venue.
“I’ll take some Night Quil.” I said
“At least we’re inside for this concert.” He said putting me down.
My feet were turning a purplish red color and my legs were really pale.
He looked around and sat down beside me. He took his shoes off and looked at me, he took his socks off and put them in my hand.
“Put them on October.” He said
I looked at him funny.
“They’re clean I just put them on this morning now put the god damned socks on.” He said
I nodded and put the socks on my cold feet.
“Put my shoes on as well.” He said
“You need them Vic you’re doing a concert tonight.” I said
“Put them on.” He said
“No.” I argued
“You are a stubborn girl.” He said shoving his bare feet into his red Vans.
“Toby!” I heard Tony yell.
I pulled my bare knees to my chest and zipped the jacket around them.
“I saw Mike carry you off the bus I grabbed my Star Wars blanket for you.” He said
He walked over and wrapped it around my shoulders. I sat there in shivered until I felt something being shoved on my feet. I looked down and I was wearing Tony’s shoes.
“No I’m fine with the socks.” I said
He ignored me and picked up his guitar.
“I love you baby.” Vic smiled
“Oh my gosh what happened to my babes?” Jaime asked showing up.
“Mike went and got her and picked her up and brought her out into the Alaska air and then set her bare footed in the snow.” Vic said
“Wow Mike way to go, get her sick why doesn’t he.” Jaime said
He sat next to me and pulled me towards him and tried to warm me up.
“Here put these on little lady.” He said
I looked at him and he stood up and pulled his sweat pants off revealing his jeans under them.
“I’m going swimming guys.” I said as I stood up and pulled Jaime’s sweats over my shorts.
They smiled.
“I’m warming up.” I said
“Pierce the Veil on in three.” Someone came up and said
“Sit on the side stage; watch our show.” Tony said
I nodded and Ray came and got me.
“Are you wearing Tony’s shoes?” She asked
“Yeah.” I said pulling his blanket tighter around me.
“What happened? You look a little blue.” She said
“I was sleeping on the bus and I sleep in my black tank top and a pair of Vic’s basketball shorts and Mike came in and yelled for me so I yelled back and walked towards him and he just picked me up and carried me outside and set me down bare footed in the snow and then walked away.” I said
“Mike’s an ass.” She said
I nodded and we turned to watch the show, it was amazing and the crowd was going wild for my boys. They came rushing back stage and they were drenched in sweat, Vic came up and placed a kiss on my cheek and then took his shirt off rung out the sweat and put it on.
“There isn’t a fan meet and greet tonight.” He said
I nodded and smiled.
“Ready to go back to the bus? I could use our blanket and a clean warm Vic.” I said
“Let’s go.” He said “I’ll get Mike later.” He said
I smiled and we rushed back to the bus. When we got in I kicked Tony’s shoes to the side and put his blanket on his bed. Vic went to take a quick shower and I went to our bunk and huddled under the fleece comforter. I was a little warmer then I felt strong warm arms wrap around me and I snuggled into him.
“I love you October.” He said
“I love you to Vic.” I said
He kissed my shoulder and I fell asleep getting warm.
