My World is You

The sunlight shined into the window and onto my face, I rolled over to drape my arm over Vic and startled awake when my arm hit the bed. Fuck I had forgotten he was leaving around six this morning to go over to Mike’s. I looked up at the pillow that he had used and there was a note. I picked it up and read it.
-Baby,
I didn’t want to wake you up because I know that you need the sleep because I know that you have been up worrying about this day. I talked to June about it a couple times. I left this note here to tell you that I love you and I will call you and text you every chance I get, I’ll Skype with you as well. Oh by the way you left a killer hickey on my neck babe, it hurts to poke but I guess you wanted to leave your mark like I had done. Don’t forget about your party tonight it starts at eight, I’ll make sure to call you before then. I left you your birthday present and some other stuff by your overnight bag. I love you Toby, text me when you wake up.

I felt a tear slide down my cheek; I pulled the comforter back and walked into the bathroom to take a shower because I smelled like Mexican Sex. I laughed at that thought and hopped into the shower. After I was done, I wrapped a towel around me and walked over to my overnight back. I avoided the shit from Vic so I could pull out a bra and underwear to put on. Once I had those on I sat down and picked up the small neatly wrapped box. I unwrapped it carefully and it was a red velvet box, I opened it and it was a beautiful sliver necklace with a variation of my birthstone in it. It was a Fire Opal and it was gorgeous. I set it aside and picked up the other bag to find three of his shirts, a pair of basketball shorts, a pair of jeans and a hoodie. I pulled on one of the shirts and the basketball shorts and picked up the necklace and grabbed my phone. I walked out into the hallway and walked into the guest room June was staying in. Sitting there reading a book called Try Not to Breathe; it was a pretty good book.
“June can you help me put this on?” I asked
“Put what on?” She asked
“My birthday present from Vic.” I said
“Happy birthday.” She said “Let me see what he got you.” She smiled
I handed the necklace to her and she smiled
“This is beautiful.” She said
I smiled and she got up and put it on me.
“Thank you.” I smiled
“I heard you had fun last night.” She winked
“Were we loud?” I asked blushing
“No, I got up and was thirsty so I went to walk into the kitchen and walked past your room and heard you moaning his name.” She smiled
“Are you a virgin June?” I asked
“Yeah.” She said
I nodded and sat down on her bed.
“When did you lose yours?” She asked
“My Junior year.” I said
“How?” She asked
“Vic asked me to the Senior Prom and I went and we left early and got a motel room.” I said
“Romantic.” She laughed sarcastically
I smiled.
“Were you scared?” She asked after a minute
“I was but I trusted Vic you know?” I asked
“Yeah I know what you mean….. Do you remember Nelson?” She asked
“That nerdy kid you dated?” I asked
“Yeah him.” She smiled
“Well I almost slept with him but.” She said trailing off
“But what?” I asked
“My heart decided that he wasn’t the one I wanted to do that with… That’s why we broke up.” She said
“That’s good. I didn’t know how to stand up for myself like that.” I said
“Vic brought you out of your shy shell?” She asked
I nodded.
“I smell bacon.” She said getting up from her bed again.
I smiled and we both walked down the stairs and Aiden and Austin were cooking breakfast.
“Happy twenty-sixth birthday.” Aiden said when he heard my footsteps.
“Thanks guys. Whatcha cooking?” I asked
“We just finished bacon and eggs. Do you two want any?” He asked
We both nodded and they handed us plates which we both finished in a matter of minutes and thanked the guys again. I pulled my phone out and texted Vic.
-I’m awake baby. The necklace is fucking beautiful and thanks for the clothes (:-
I put my phone back in my pocket and it instantly vibrated from me getting a call.
“Hello?” I answered walking up the stairs
“Morning baby.” He said
“Morning.”
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah it was just weird to wake up to a note instead of my Sexican.”
“This tour will fly by baby, you won’t even notice that I’m gone.”
“I already miss you and what does the hickey look like?”
“I’ll Skype you later and I’ll show you. How are yours?”
“Noticeable. Were you scared someone was going to try and get with me at my party tonight?”
“Nope, I’ve got guys there looking out. Why’d you do mine? Afraid of a fangirl trying to rape me?”
“Yes.”
He laughed.
“Viiiiccc” I whined
“Yes Toby?”
“I miss your face.”
“I miss yours too October.”
“I miss yours more Victor.”
“Ewh that name.”
“Victor Vincent Fuentes.”
“Shush. Okay I have to go I’ll call you back later?”
“Okay. I love you.”
“I love you too.”
I hung up and threw my phone onto the bed.
“What am I going to do with myself?” I asked
I decided to go back to sleep until the party. Lazy right? I laid down and fell asleep.
“Hey sleepy head.” I heard someone say
I rolled onto my side and opened my eyes and Katelynne was lying next to me.
“Well good morning birthday girl.” She said
“What time is it?” I asked
“Half an hour before your party starts.” She said
I sat up and looked around it was seven-thirty. I groaned and laid back down.
“No get up.” She demanded
“Cancel the party.” I wined
“No. June and I went shopping and got her a dress and shoes. I know you have a dress cause I saw it. Ugh little bitch get the fuck up or I will call Dallas up here.” She said
I groaned and got up and stood in front of her. She walked over to my closet and pulled out the dress I was going to wear it was about mid-thigh and the top part that was over my chest was black and it had like a feathery thingy on the left shoulder. It had a silver belt band thingy and the skirt part started purple, went to grey and ended with black. I really liked how simple it was but it was really cute.
“Wear my boots.” She said
“Which ones?” I asked
“My purple ones with the sliver eyelets and studs on it.” She said
“Okay…… where are they?” I asked
“Over there.” She said pointing at my overnight bag.
I sighed and walked over and shoved my foot into it.
“You look cute October.” She smiled.
“Thanks.” I said
“Wait till you see June.” She said
“What’s hers look like?” I asked
“It’s long like upper shin length and its red and has like layers you know? It’s red and it had a bow where your sliver band it. and she got a pair of black sequin flats.” She said
“That sounds like something that would look really pretty on her..” I said
“It does.” She said
The doorbell went off and I looked at the clock. Seven fifty-five.
“Wow time went fast.” I said
“Right.” She said
I laughed
“Stand up and smile.” She said
I did as I was told and she walked over and adjusted my new necklace and stepped back and pulled her phone out and took a picture.
“Why are you taking pictures?” I asked
“I’m sending it to Vic.” She smiled
I rolled my eyes and then my laptop chimed telling me someone was calling me on Skype.
“That’s Vic.” She said
I walked over and accepted the call.
“Look at the pretty girl!” I heard Ray shriek
I looked at my screen and Ray was standing really close to the camera.
“Ray!” I yelled
“Hey girly how are you doing?” She asked
“Good.” I said
“Look at them legs.” I heard Vic say
I laughed and Ray walked away and Vic showed up on my screen.
“Hi baby.” I said
“Hey pretty girl.” He said
I smiled.
“Why aren’t you at the party?” He asked
“Because you guys called me on this.” I said
He flashed me a smiled and winked at me.
“Well you look awesome and I love you but you should go to the party.” He said
“Wait is that October?” I heard someone
“Yeah it is Kellin.” Vic said
“October! Well damn you look good today.” He said
“Is that my baby!” Katelynne shrieked
I nodded and she pranced over and slung her arm around my waist.
“Hello beautiful ladies.” Kellin said slinging his arm over Vic
“I love you Vic but I’m going to go answer the door.” I said
“I love you too.” He said
I blew him a kiss and walked out of the room and the living area was full of fucking people.
“Damn.” I whispered to myself.
“Are you October?” I heard
I turned around and looked up and Austin Carlile was standing in front of me. My eyes widened and he suppressed a laugh.
“I take it you haven’t met a lot of Vic’s friends that are in bands.” He said
“Not a lot of them. I know Sleeping with Sirens, Bless the Fall, Memphis May Fire and that’s about it.” I said shyly
“I see you’re a shy girl.” He said
I nodded and he smiled.
“It’s cool you’ll warm up to us. Vic asked us to perform for you tonight.” He said
“He’s such a sweet heart.” I said
“He really loves you, he talks about you all the time when we hang out.” He said
“Really?” I asked
“Of course. All of his friends that are in other bands do hear a lot about you.” He said
“I don’t know if that’s comforting or worrying.” I said
“Comforting.” He said
“You are really tall.” I said
“You’re just short.” He smiled
I laughed.
“Oh my god! You’re Austin Carlile!” I heard someone yell
We both turned to look and June was standing there looking fucking amazing in her dress.
“June this is Austin, Austin this is my younger sister June.” I said
Her eyes widened and she instantly walked away.
“She’s a little shy.” I said
“How old is she?” He asked
“Eighteen.” I said
He smiled.
“She seems sweet.” He said
“She is.” I smiled
Thank god she could take her bandages off or she’d be locked into her room, she needs to have fun, as do I.
“Austin!” I heard his name being called
“Over here.” He said sticking his hand up in the air.
Not like he’s the tallest guy here or anything. I silently laughed to myself.
“Austin who are you talking to over here….. Well hello.” The guy said
I looked up and Alan Ashby was standing there staring at me.
“October this is Alan, Alan this is Vic’s girl October.” Austin said
“So your Vic’s girlfriend. He never told us you were this pretty.” He said
I blushed.
“Thanks.” I said
Austin, Alan and I stood around talking when suddenly I was swarmed by my sisters.
“Who are you talking to girly?” December asked me
“Austin Carlile and Alan Ashby.” I smiled
“October who are these lovely ladies?” Austin asked
“Austin, Alan this is December, September, August, May and June my sisters.” I said pointing them out
Alan’s eyes fell on June and I smiled, they were only four years apart, that was okay in my book.
The party dragged on and Of Mice and Men took to the center of the room and Austin grabbed the Mic.
“Hey everyone we are Of Mice and Men and we are here to perform for the birthday girl October Moore.” He said
June came up beside me and smiled.
“Alan was so checking you out little sister.” I said
“No way.” She smiled
“He was I promise you he was.” I said
She smiled.
“This song is called This One’s for you.” Austin said
“I love this song.” June said

He took a breath.

He took in another breathe and let out a fourteen to sixteen second scream.
“That was amazing.” June yelled over the noise
I screamed out and June smiled.
After a few songs they took a break, June was dancing with Alan and I was dancing with May, Katelynne, Austin Carlile and Missy when the doorbell went off. Katelynne’s eyes lit up and she brought Missy closer to her face and whispered something to her. I looked at Austin confused and he shrugged. My brother Austin and Aiden had left because they don’t really like the whole party thing and Dallas was asleep. I walked over to the front door and opened the door to five people.
“A friend told us there was a party here that would be fun.” One said
“Who’s your friend?” I asked trying to play it cool.
“Katelynne Quinn.” He said
I made a come in motion and they walked into my brother’s house.
“Did Avenged Sevenfold and Oliver Sykes really just walk into this house?” I asked the closest person to me.
He happened to be Matty Mullins from Memphis May Fire.
“October my dear yes they did.” He smiled
I did a little fan girl dance and walked up to them and they were all hugging Katelynne.
“October this is Matt, Brian, Zacky, Johnny and Olli Sykes.” Katelynne said
“Hi.” I whispered
“Guys she is mentally freaking out.” Katelynne said
“Val is on her way in Katelynne.” Matt said
“You brought Val?” Katelynne squealed.
He nodded
“So October.” Brian said
“Yeah?” I asked
“You seem pretty nervous.” Zacky said
They all took a step towards me and Katelynne laughed.
“Guys don’t smother her.” She said
“I think its fun to make the nervous ones squirm.” Brian said
“Guys look at her she looks like she’s going to collapse.” Johnny said
“Katelynne.” I said
“Yes dear?” She asked
“Promise me something.” I said
“That is?” She asked
“Promise me that if I fall you won’t let my dress go above my head.” I said quoting a line from the Nanny on accident.
“Don’t fall over.” Johnny said
I couldn’t control it and I fell over and I bumped into someone.
“October Renee!” June said
“Sorry June.” I said getting up and helping her up
Her back was facing the boys.
“What happened? Did you just collapse?” She asked
“Sort of.” I said fixing my dress
“You only fall over when you’re extremely nervous. Why are you nervous?” She asked
“Remember our talk with Vic about who we swoon over?” I whispered
“Yeah?” She questioned
“October are you okay?” Matt asked me
I just nodded and June turned to look.
“Oh my god.” She breathed out
“Guys this is my younger sister June. Now excuse me I need something.” I said
June waved and I made a beeline into the kitchen. Missy was standing there making something.
“Missy I need a drink before I pass out.” I said
“Why are you going to pass out?” She asked
“Katelynne decided to invite Avenged Sevenfold over. And Oliver Sykes.” I said
“Way to go Katelynne. And that names sounds familiar.” She said
She handed me a shot glass of something.
“What’s this?” I asked
“Take the shot and then I’ll tell you.” She said
I took the shot and it wasn’t bad.
“What is it?” I asked
“It’s called a Blow Job.” She said
I looked at her like she was nuts.
“Green crème de menthe and Bailey’s Irish Cream.” She said
“Oh.” I said
“Want something you can carry around?” She asked
“Yeah and something light for June so she’s not left out.” I said
“White Russian for you and a little bit of Jack and Coke for her?” She asked
“Sounds good and you make the best White Russians.” I said
She smiled and made two White Russians and a Jack and Coke. She handed me mine and June’s and I took a sip of mine.
“Tasty.” I said
She took a sip of hers and smiled.
“Want to meet the guys?” I asked
She nodded and followed me out to the party. We danced along to the beat and I tapped June’s shoulder.
“Hey.” She said
“Because I’m the most amazing sister here.” I said handing her the drink
“What’s this?” She asked
“Jack and Coke. If December asked its just Coke, and of the other girls will be fine.” I said
She smiled and took a sip.
“What do you have?” She asked
“A very yummy White Russian.” I said
“What in that?” She asked
“Kahlua, Vodka, cream and Ice.” Missy said
“Want to try it?” I asked
She smiled and I handed her my drink.
“That is good.” She smiled
“Missy? Missy Grande?” Someone asked
It was Oli.
“Yes?” She asked
“Do you remember me?” He asked
“I baby sat you.” She said
He nodded and they walked off and talked.
The party drug on and I was getting shit-faced, absolutely shit-faced. I do remember dancing with Avenged Sevenfold and catching June making-out with Alan Ashby on the couch. I probably passed out.
