Bulletproof Love

Ellie's POV

I can't quite get used to being called Ellie Preciado just yet, still sounds odd to me. I love being married to Jaime though, married life feels good. Every once in a while I would just take a quick glimpse at my wedding ring and admire it, I don't know I just still can't believe that I'm married with 2 kids, it's all a bit surreal to me. But I'm happy and that's the most important thing.

"Morning baby!" I smiled sleepily as I was woken up with lots of kisses from Jaime beside me.

"Morning wife!" He grinned. He hasn't stopped calling me that for a couple of days now, he loves it but to be honest so do I. I just giggled at him.

"Will you ever stop calling me that?" I asked with a chuckle.

"Nope, it suits you Mrs Preciado!" He smirked and kissed me. I smiled.

"MUMMA!" I heard Megan shouting while running into our bedroom. She then jumped right on top of Jaime with a loud thud.

"Ow!" He whined. I just laughed and so did Megan. He looked in pain from her landing.

"Sweetie, don't hurt daddy!" I said.

"Sorry mumma!" She replied.

"It's okay baby just be careful next time!" I said and she nodded her head.

"So what do you two girl want to do today?" Jaime then asked us as he regained his breath from when Megan had knocked it out of him from jumping on him.

"PARK!" Megan instantly shouted excitedly, "oh please, please, please, please!!!" She begged. Me and Jaime looked at each other, even if one of us said no she's still somehow get her own way in the end, she always does.

"Yes, we can go to the park!" I said and she immediately squealed with excitement and ran off somewhere.

"That little girl is easily pleased" I laughed.

"Yes sure is!" Jaime agreed. Me and Jaime then laid in bed for a little longer, just enjoying each other's company till we heard Jacob crying through the baby monitor, that was our cue to get up. I had gotten up a few times in the night but he's getting better at sleeping through out the whole night. I slowly pulled myself out of bed and walked over to his bedroom.

"Good morning my handsome little boy!" I cooed and gently picked him up in my arms. He just stared at me with his big eyes. I then carried him over to the changing table, changed his nappy and got him dressed in his day clothes. Once he was all ready, we the went downstairs to join Jaime and Megan.
As I got downstairs and entered the kitchen I saw that Megan was helping Jaime cook breakfast. She stood on a little stood in front of the stove while Jaime was standing behind her and showing her what to do, it was a cute moment between them.

"Mmm, what are you two cooking?" I asked as I smelt something good. Jaime turned round and smiled as he saw us.

"Pancakes, the princesses orders!" He said. I just laughed because I really wasn't surprised. I then placed Jacob in his high chair quickly while I got his bottle ready. Once I had sorted it all, I got him out of the chair, placed him in my arms and fed him his bottle. He eats really well, he loves milk.

"Breakfast is served m'lady!" Jaime said in a terrible British accent and placed a plate of blueberry pancakes in front of me, they smelt delicious. I handed Jacob over to Jaime while I ate. I then dug into my pancakes and they tasted like heaven.

"These are so good!" I smiled.

"I made them!!" Megan said with a grin.

"And they are delicious baby, you're a natural chef!" I said and she smiled. She loves cooking, she'll be good at it when she's older, she's learnt a lot from me and Jaime.

As the day went by, it was time to take Megan to the park for a little while. She wanted Mike, Vic and Tony to come as well, I didn't see the point in them coming with us but she insisted that they needed to, they agreed and we were meeting them there.

"Are you ready?" I asked her. She nodded, "come on them Jaime!" I added. He was placing Jacob in his pram. We were walking there because it wasn't very far away.

"Is auntie Erin coming?!" Megan asked me and Jaime with a massive grin on her face. She grown very close to Erin, she's only ever had me as a proper girl role model in her life so now that she has Erin as well, it's nice for her.

"I don't know sweetie, we'll just have to find out when we get there!" I replied. I'm sure that Erin would be there, her and Tony do everything together, they're inseparable. Jaime pushed the pram, Megan held my hand as we walked, we looked like a proper family. I loved moments like this, it makes everything feel right.
We eventually made it to the park and saw all 3 guys playing at the park while Erin watched them in shame, they're children at heart. I pointed to Jaime at the guys and he laughed as did I.

"Such children!" Jaime laughed.

"You're no better mister!" I said with a laugh. He faked a hurt expression.

"I'm hurt that you would think such a thing!" He said to me.

"Oh shut up you drama queen" I laughed and shoved him slightly which caused him to laugh too. Megan then spotted the guys, let go of my hand and ran towards them as quickly as she could. I could hear her laughing as she road down the road.

"Slow down!" I shouted at her but she didn't pay any attention to me, "she's getting so old now, it makes me feel old!" I complained.

"She's only 5 El" Jaime laughed.

"I know but you've only known her for about a year, I've been with her since day one and I wish she didn't grow, she was so much easier when she was a baby!" I said. Jaime just shook his head at me and we then made it to the park and saw Megan had joined in with the guys, she looked happy. I could see in Jaime face that he wanted to join in as well but he wanted to prove that he was mature to me.

"Go play, I know you want to!" I then said to him, he looked at me and smiled. He laughed and ran off to join the others. I just sat down with Erin and Jacob.

"Hey Erin!" I smiled.

"Hey El, how are you?" She asked.

"I'm good, how about you?" I asked.

"I'm good thanks!" She smiled.

"Good!" I said, "they so immature for their age!" I laughed as I watched the guys play on the slide and swings with Megan.

"I know, you should've seen them before you came, they were hanging from the monkey bars upside down, it was so funny!" She giggled. I laughed as I imagined them doing that.

"Come on auntie Erin and mumma, come join us!!" Megan shouted from the top of the slide.

"Yeah come on girls!!" Tony shouted. Me and Erin looked at each other and shrugged with the same thought, oh what the hell, no ones around. I picked Jacob up out of the pram, held him in my arms and went over to the guys with Erin and join in as much as I could with a baby in my arms.
I watched as Mike and Megan played on the swings, Megan was on the swing as Mike pushed her as high as she asked. She was giggling like a maniac but she was happy. I watched Mike and he looked happy too, I watched them for a while in awe, it was a cute moment.

"Higher uncle Mikey, higher!!" She squealed happily. He obliged and pushed her higher, higher than I would've liked but she was enjoying herself and she was safe with Mike so I didn't say anything like an over protective mother would've.

We spend the rest of the day fooling about at the park, strangers that walked by gave us weird looks but we didn't care one bit, we were having fun as a family and that was all that mattered. They're all my family and I love every single one of them to death.
