Bulletproof Love

Ellie's POV - May 12th

Today is the day. Today is the day I have been waiting for, my wedding day and I'm a nervous wreck. Erin and my mum are trying to calm my nerves with positive words but it makes me feel so much more stressed.

"Calm down sweetie!" My mum said. She grabbed my shoulders and shook me slightly, "today is about you and Jaime, you need to calm!" She added. I nodded my head and took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry, it's just a big day and I'm so nervous!" I said.

"We understand that but you need to calm down and get ready so you're not late!" She replied. I don't know why I was so nervous, I'm going to become Jaime's wife today but it's the commitment that scares me the most, I'll be married for the rest of my life.
Megan was occupied by playing with her toys and Jacob was asleep in his pram so there was 2 less things to worry about for now.

Firstly I had to get my hair and makeup done, my mum had paid for her hairdresser to come along and do it for me, I was currently sitting in a chair while Jasmine, I think that's her name, was brushing my hair.

"What do you want done to your hair?" She asked politely.

"I want curls, like, loose pretty curls, I like them!" I explained with a smile. She nodded her head with understanding and plugged in the curling irons.

"I can do that for you!" She smiled. So far so good, I thought.
As she was doing my hair, Jasmine was asking me questions about Jaime and my kids which I happily answered, I loved talking about them to anyone who asked about them, they're my pride and joy. Talking about them made me feel more calm and less stressed because after this day is over, we'll be a proper happy family and I genuinely can't wait.

"All done!" Jasmine smiled and turned me round so I could look at myself in the mirror. I grinned widely. My hair was perfect, it was just how I wanted it. She had curled my hair but done them loosely and did my hair in a middle parten so it fell gracefully round my oddly shaped face.

"It's perfect!" I replied with a smile.

"Now makeup time!" She announced and took out her makeup bag. I explained to her how I wanted it and she got on with it. I hated other people doing my make up but as I'm not very good at anything but mascara then I think it's best if she did it for me.

"And.. Done!" She smiled. I looked in the mirror and didn't even recognise myself, I looked so different with different hair and makeup. She made my green eyes stand out but she didn't over do it, it was just right.

"Wow.. Thank you so much, it's just how I wanted it!" I thanked her.

"Not a problem sweetie, this Jaime fella is a lucky guy" She said. That made me genuinely smile.

"Thank you Jasmine!" I replied. I stood up off my chair and pulled her into a friendly hug, I may not know her very well but she's a great girl and deserved a hug from me to say thank you. She hugged back.

"I hope you two live a happy life together!" She said into my ear. I pulled away and smiled.

"Thank you, are you married?" I asked. She shook her head.

"No, I have a boyfriend but we're not the marriage stage yet" She explained and I just nodded in understanding. She then left, it was a shame she didn't stay for the wedding but she said she was very busy with work so she couldn't and I fully understood that.

"Ready to change?" Erin asked as she held up the dress. I felt a nervous knot in my stomach but I ignored it and nodded my head.

"Yes!" I grinned. She past me the long dress and I striped down into my underwear, don't really caring about Erin looking.

"You have a gorgeous figure El!" Erin complimented me.

"It still needs a bit of work from the birth of Jacob but it getting there but thank you!" I shrugged with a smile. She smiled back. I then slipped the dress on carefully, Erin zipped it up at the back and I stared at my reflection in the mirror. I gasped. For the first time in my whole life, this is the first time I've actually felt pretty.

"You look amazing!" Erin said.

"You look like a pretty princess mumma!" Megan said as she saw me.

"Thank you Erin and thank you baby!" I said and kissed her forehead which made her smile.

"Honey, you look so grown up!" My mum said while tearing up slightly.

"Mum don't cry or I will and I don't want to ruin my makeup!" I whined with a chuckle. My mum laughed and wiped her eyes so her makeup wouldn't run.

"I'm sorry but my little girl is all grown up and has a family of her own, you don't need me anymore!" She said. I couldn't believe she said that, how could she ever think that I could never need her anymore.

"Are you crazy? Mum, I'll always be yours and dad's little girl and I'll always need you in my life so don't you dare think that I don't!" I explained sternly. She nodded and hugged me tightly, my mum is my world. Then there was a knock on the door and a small Mexican peeped his head round the door.

"Hey are yo- woah you look beautiful!" Vic said as he saw me standing there.

"Thanks Vic!" I smiled.

"Anyway, everyone's ready outside, Jaime's stressing because he thinks you're going to leave him at the alter so you might wanna speed up a bit!" He said with a laugh. The thought of Jaime being nervous made you smile, at least you weren't the only one stressing.

"We'll be right there!" I said. He nodded and left.

"Are you ready?" My mum asked. I took a deep breath and nodded.

"I think so!" I smiled.

"Don't be nervous, just pretend like its only you and Jaime in the room!" Erin said and hugged me one last time.

"I don't think I could've done this with either of you, thank you!" I said to both of them, without them, I'd probably be a nervous wreck.

"Okay I'll leave you now and I'll take Jacob with me!" My mum explained. She pushed Jacobs pram out of the room and went to sit down.

"I'm ready!" I said. Erin nodded, I took Megan's hand and we all left together. I saw my dad standing there waiting to give me away down the aisle.

"You look so beautiful Ellie!" My dad said.

"Thanks dad" I smiled.

"Now come on, let's get you married!" He grinned. I laughed and linked my arm with his. I then heard music play and Erin and Megan slowly walked down the aisle together, Megan loved it, you could tell from the massive grin that was plastered on her face. It was now my turn, I took a long shaky breath and looked at my dad.

"You ready for this princess?" He asked. I just nodded, I was ready. We then both slowly walked down the aisle, I saw everyone looking at me with adoration. They all had smiles on their face and a few of them were crying. I saw the All Time low guys smiling at me, they had tuxes on which suited them, I then saw Jaime's family and a few of mine, they all looked happy. I saw Mike, Tony and Vic smiling at me, then my eyes met with Jaime's, he was beaming with happiness. He wore a traditional black suit and he looked very handsome in it, neither of us broke eye contact the whole time as I walked down the aisle.

"I'm proud of you!" My dad whispered into my ear as we made it to the end. I hugged him tightly then he past me over to Jaime. He took my hands and I couldn't stop smiling, as soon as we touched all of my nerves disappeared.

"You look gorgeous!" He whispered.

"You don't look to bad yourself!" I winked which made him chuckle.

"We are gathered here today to celebrate the wedding of these two lovely people, I've been told that you've written you're own vows so you may begin!" The vicar said and motioned for Jaime to start.

"Okay. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about today, if you were about to marry the most beautiful girl in the world you'd be nervous too. Anyway, Ellie when we first met which was long ago we were young and foolish, me leaving was a bad move but when I saw you again with Megan I knew I had to have you in my life again. When you agreed to be my wife I was the happiest man ever and when Jacob came along I felt so lucky to have all 3 of you in my life. You are the only person who fully understands me and you're then only one that laughs at my jokes even if they're not funny. You're gorgeous, funny, kind, down to earth and truly the only girl I want spend the rest of my life with, I love you so much!" He finished with a smile. I had tears in my eyes from how beautiful his speech was.

"Now your turn!" The vicar said to me.

"Wow, I wrote this speech but it's no way near as good as yours so I'm scraping that idea and I'm just going to speak from the heart" I explained, "Jaime Preciado, you are one of the weirdest men I have ever met but that's the quality I love about you the most, you never fail to cheer me up when I'm down and I always have a smile on my face whenever I'm around you. But you are also the most kindest and down to earth man I know, you put so many people before yourself and it makes me feel lucky to have a man like you. You're the best dad for Megan and Jacob, they love you just as much as I do. I don't want to spend my life with anyone else but you because you mean so much to me, you're the only one for me. I love you so much Jaime" I said and I was full on crying now. He smiled and wiped the tears from your eyes with his thumb.
"They were beautiful speech!" The vicar smiled, "now the rings!" He said. Jaime took his ring from Tony and you took your ring from Erin.

"Do you Jaime Alberto Preciado take thee Ellie May Matthews to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do!" He smiled and slid the ring onto your finger, it fit perfectly.

"And do you Ellie May Matthews take thee Jaime Alberto Preciado to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do!" I grinned and slid the ring on to his finger.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife!" The vicar announced, "you may now kiss the bride!" He added. Jaime immediately pulled me closer to him by my waist and kissed me passionately, I heard cheering from behind us but I was only focusing on one thing, Jaime. I pulled away and he rested his forehead apon mine and we just stared into each other's eyes.

"I love you Mrs Preciado!" He smiled. I love hearing him say that to me.

"I love you too Mr Preciado!" I said and kissed him again. We then held hands as newly weds and walked down the aisle as everyone cheered for us. I was the luckiest girl and happiest girl alive right now, being married feels weird but it's such a great feeling.

We were now back at the wedding reception and Jaime still hasn't told me about the surprise. I kept bugging him about it in the car but he didn't tell me anything which frustrated me.

"Now to welcome Mr & Mrs Preciado!" Tony shouted and we both entered the room as everyone applauded us. I heard the sound of singing, it was a very familiar voice. I turned round and saw Fall Out boy playing, at my wedding. I squealed and hugged Jaime tightly.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!!' I squealed.

"Anything to make my wife happy!" He smirked, I could tell he loves calling me his wife as much as I love hearing it.

"I can't believe you got Fall Out Boy to play at our wedding!" I said shock and happy at the same time.

"I know some people!" He smiled. He then dragged over to our table where, Tony, Erin, My mum, dad, Megan and Jacob were already sitting. They all smiled at us and we began to eat out meal that was serves to us, it was delicious.
As everyone finished their food, Tony then stood up and did his speech. He clinked the glass to get everyone's attention. Everyone went silent and focused on Tony.

"I would just like to congratulate the happy couple, I couldn't think of anyone else who are as perfect for each other like Jaime and Ellie. They have been on a real roller coaster together but I'm so glad that they pulled through the hard times and ended up together. They're both my close bestfriends and I wish them a lifetime of happiness together, to Jaime and Ellie!" He cheered and lifted his glass up. Everyone else lifted their glasses up and echoed what Tony said.

"Thank you Tone!" I smiled.

"No problem El!" He replied.

As the night went on the dancing began and everyone started to have a great time. Megan dragged Mike on the dance floor and made him dance with her which made me laugh and Jacob had fallen asleep again while my mum was looking after him.
It was then time for mine and Jaime's first dance as newly weds. He guided me to the dance floor and held me close to him. He wrapped his arms round my waist and I wrapped mine round his neck and we swayed along to the music, our first dance was Even Robots Need Blankets by Mayday Parade.

"I love you" He smiled.

"I love you too!" I replied and he placed a soft kiss on my lips, it was full of love and passion. Then I felt someone hug my leg, I looked down and saw Megan looking at us.

"I wanna join!" She whined. Jaime then picked her up in his arms and we danced with her in the middle of us while everyone else watched.
The rest of the night was amazing, it was a real day to remember. I couldn't be happier about being Jaime's wife, Ellie Preciado has a real ring to it. Me and Jaime spoke to everyone then danced some more, it was the best day/night of my life and I wouldn't have changed it a single bit, it was perfect.
