Bulletproof Love

Ellie's POV

I had forgotten how tiring it is looking after a new born baby, he kept both me and Jaime up all night with his crying, the only way we could put him to sleep was for Jaime to sing to him. So that's all Jaime's been doing, whenever Jacob is crying he'll sing him to sleep and Jacob will doze off straight away, it's cute that he loves the sound Jaime's voice.
Me and Jaime finally moved in together officially about a week ago, Megan was so excited to move into Jaime's house mainly because he has a pool and she loves to swim.

"Mummy can I go swimming?" Megan asked for the 10th time today.

"No sweetie, it's too cold and I don't want you getting ill!" I repeated. It's the middle of January and the weather is quite chilly.

"But I want to swim!" She whined.

"I'm not telling you again, no means no!" I said sternly, she can be a handful sometimes. I don't usually shout or act stern with her but sometimes I need to. She grumbled and walked off somewhere else, she always gets moody when she doesn't get her own way.

"Whys she all grumpy?" Jaime asked as he entered the room while cradling Jacob in his arms, it's the cutest thing to see them two together.

"She's wants to go swimming but I said no and she got all moody about it, she can't always have it her way!" I said.
"Well she's not happy!" Jaime laughed.

"She has such an attitude sometimes, she'll be murder when she's older!" I said and went into the kitchen to start making dinner.

"What time are the guys coming round?" He asked.

"About 6!" I replied. I'm meeting Erin for the first time and I'm pretty excited about it, I want to meet the girl that has finally stolen my turtles heart.

It was around 6 now and the guys and Erin should be round soon.

"Jaime, where's Jacob?" I asked while I was quickly cleaning the house before everyone arrived.

"In his cot, he fell asleep so I put him to bed for a while" He replied. Jaime is the best dad for Jacob and Megan, I'd be nowhere without him.

"Okay!" I smiled. Then the door bell rang. I walked over to the door and opened to see the guys and a gorgeous young girl who looked around my age. She had longish brown hair and she was utterly beautiful, Tonys a lucky guy.

"Hey guys!" I smiled and opened he door wider for them to entered. They all came in one by one and then did their usual thing whenever they come round, just chilled in the lounge while watching TV.

"Ellie this is Erin my girlfriend and Erin this is Ellie my bestfriend!" Tony introduced us to each other.

"Hi! It's great to finally meet you, Tony talks a lot about you!" She smiled.

"You too and I hope it's all good things!" I said.

"Of course! He doesn't shut up how cute you and Jaime are!" She laughed and that made you smile.

"Aw turtle, that's so sweet!!" I smiled and he got all embarrassed.

"You weren't supposed to tell her that!" Tony whined, which made me and Erin laugh at him.

"It's okay, it's sweet and to be fair you two are pretty cute yourself!" I smiled and walked off leaving them alone for awhile as I sorted dinner out.
I made tacos, Mike's request and I set up the table and laid out all the food so everyone could serve themselves.

"Dinner ready everyone!!" I shouted so they could all hear me. They all then came in like a hurd of sheep and got what they wanted, I helped Megan with her food then she sat next to Mike up the table, not surprising.
We all sat down and got ready to eat our food when we heard crying coming from the baby monitor. I sighed.

"Shall I go?" Jaime asked with a chuckle because he knew I'd ask him anyway.

"Yes, go sing to the boy!" I smiled. He chuckled at me and walked upstairs to sort out Jacob.

"How olds your baby?" Erin asked politely.

"Just over a week old!" I replied.

"Aw, he must be tiny!" She cooed.

"He is pretty small!" I smiled. We then all got into causal conversation, me and Erin got to know each other more, she was such a lovely girl and I can see why Tony fell for her. Jaime then came back and sat next to me.

"Is he okay?" I asked him.

"Yup, he's asleep again!" He smiled and dug into his taco. I looked over at Megan and saw her chatting away to Mike and Vic, she does love those 2 Fuentes brothers.

"So guys, you sorted the wedding out yet?" Vic asked me and Jaime. Me and Jaime looked at each other and smiled, we love it when someone reminds us that we're getting married.

"Not yet but we're getting there" Jaime answered him. To be honest we haven't really done much because of Jacob, we've both been too tired from the lack of sleep to do anything but we talked about it and we're going to start organising more soon.

"We do have a date but we haven't done much!" I said.

"What date is it? I need to buy a dress in time" Erin asked.

"May 12th" I replied with a smile.

"That's not long! I bet you're excited!" She grinned.

"I really am!" I smiled.

"I'm a bridesmaid!" Megan squealed with excitement. She so excited for the wedding, she can't wait to wear her bridesmaid dress, she loves dressing up.

"I know you are sweetie" I smiled.

For the rest of the evening they all stayed round and we just chilled. I got to know Erin a lot more and I can tell we are going to be great friends. Then when it got late I put Megan to bed, it took a while because she wanted to stay up and play with Mike but it was way past her bedtime and in the end I got Jaime to pick her and take her to bed. She whined and was grumpy after but she was fast asleep once her head hit the pillow.

"We're going to get going now!" Tony said to us.

"Okay, well it was lovely to finally meet you Erin!" I smiled and hugged her and Tony goodbye.

"You two, we'll have to meet up for coffee one day?" She suggested.

"Sounds great!" I smiled and then they left, leaving Mike and Vic left but then they both left soon after.

"I'm so tired!" I whined sleepily.

"Go to bed then baby" Jaime said. I nodded. I kissed him goodnight then headed to bed. I got changed into my pyjamas then hopped into bed, I was too tired to stay up till Jaime came to bed so I doze off to sleep instantly.

I woke up the next morning and rolled over and cuddled up to a sleeping Jaime. Last night both me and Jaime got up a couple of times to feed Jacob and I was quite tired this morning. As soon as I cuddled Jaime I heard him wake up because he mumbled something inaudible.

"Morning gorgeous" He said sleepily.

"Morning Hime" I smiled.

"What you doing today?" He asked.

"I think we should sort more wedding stuff out!" I said.

"So do I" He agreed. We then both got up and headed downstairs. I entered the lounge and saw Megan quietly watching TV by herself.

"Morning sweetie" I smiled.

"Morning mumma!" She replied without taking her eyes off the screen. I shook my head with a chuckle and left her alone. Jaime came downstairs with Jacob in his arms.

"He wants his mummy!" Jaime smiled. I smiled back and took Jacob out of Jamie arms and held him myself.

"So I'm going to ask Erin if she wants to got dress shopping with me!" I said to Jaime.

"That's good, I'm going suit shopping with the guys tomorrow!" He told me.

For the rest of the day me and Jaime actually got most of the wedding details sorted out, the dress was the only thing left that I needed to sort out, I was starting to get really excited about my wedding now, I can't wait to be Jaime's wife.
