Bulletproof Love

Ellie's POV - 2 days later.

I had to stay in hospital for 2 more day just to rest my body from what it's had been through. Jacob stayed in with me as well while Jaime went home to look after Megan. He's been telling me that Megan is dying to see Jacob which I think is adorable, I can't wait for her to meet him.
I'm aloud to leave today which is fabulous because I really hate hospital especially from my last experience in there. Though my nurse has been very lovely too me, she's very chatty and keeps me company when I'm alone.

"Morning Ellie, how're you feeling?" Mandy asked as she walked into my room.

"I'm okay, just happy that me and my little fella can go home today!" I smiled. She smiled back and handed me some papers to sign so I could leave. After I was done I got changed and waited for Jaime to pick me up.

About 20 minutes later Jaime arrived and helped me get all my stuff together while I carried Jacob out. He was fast asleep in his carrier, he was such a cutie pie.

"You ready to introduce him to the big world?" Jaime asked.

"Yeah, I can't wait for Megan to meet him!" I smiled. I said goodbye to Mandy then we both left. We put Jacob in the car then hopped in ourselves. It was nice being outside again, I just took in all my surroundings and smiled as we drove past everything. As we were driving I noticed that Jaime was driving to his house and not mine but I didn't mention anything, he probably just has Megan there.
We eventually got back, Jaime parked the car and we both jumped out. I got Jacob out and walked to the front door.

"Can I ask why you've brought me to your house?" I asked.

"I left Megan there with the guys" He replied but I knew he was hiding something. I just nodded and walked into his house. It was completely dark and I couldn't see a thing so I searched for a light switch. I turned the light on and I was surprised by a load of people jumping out shouting surprise at me. They all made me jump out of my skin but it made me smile. I looked up and saw a banner reading:

"Congratulation on having a boy!"

I couldn't stop smiling, I saw all the Pierce The Veil guys, the All Time low guys, mine and Jaime's parents and a few other random faces, it was so unexpected.

"Wow, thank you guys!" I grinned.

"Mummy, mummy!!" Megan shouted as she came running up to me. I past Jacob to Jaime to hold and picked up Megan in my arms.

"How's my little princess been without me?" I asked.

"I missed you lots and lots but daddy looked after me so I was fine" She replied with a huge smile.

"Well that's good then" I said and kissed her forehead "do you want to meet your little brother?" I asked her. Her eyes immediately widened and she nodded her head excitedly. I gently placed her down then picked up Jacob carefully out of his carrier. I walked over to the couch and motioned for her to follow me. I sat down and she sat down next to me.

"Megan this is your little brother Jacob, say hello" I smiled. She just looked at him, she was speechless.

"Will I hurt him if I touch him?" She asked worried.

"No baby you won't" I chuckled. She then nodded her head and gently stroke his head, a beaming smile appeared on her face.

"Mumma, can I hold him?" She asked. I was reluctant at first but I trust her. I nodded.

"Yes sweetie" I smiled. She sat back in the couch and I gently placed him carefully in her arms. I told her to hold him tight so she wouldn't drop his head. She actually held him well, I've never seen her smile so much. Jaime then walked over and smiled.

"She's a natural" He said.

"Will you look after them while I talk to some people?" I asked.

"Of course!" He smiled and I walked off. I spotted Alex in the corner of my eye so I went over to talk to him.

"Hey Alex" I said. He spun round and smiled at me.

"Hey El" He said, "how've you been?" He asked.

"I've been alright, had a few days rest so I'm back to normal" I smiled.

"That's good!" He grinned. Me and Alex spoke for a while till I moved on to talk to a few more people.

"Ellie!" I heard my dad's voice shout from behind me. I twirled around to face him.

"Hey dad!" I smiled and he pulled me into a tight hug.

"How's my little girl?" He asked.

"I'm good!" I said.

"I hope you know how proud I am of you!" He said. A smile grew on my face, I like this side of my dad, I rarely see it so when I do it always makes me smile.

"Thanks dad, means a lot coming from you" I replied.

"Sorry I'm such a crappy dad and don't show you enough love towards you I just never know how too" He explained. I never knew he thought of himself as a crappy dad to me, if I'm honest him and my mum were the best parents I could have ever wished for when I was growing up.

"Listen to me dad, you were or should I say are the best dad I could ever ask for, maybe you don't tell me you love me a lot but you show it in other ways, I love you so much dad!" I said and he smiled widely.

"I love you too darling" He said and hugged me tightly again.
While everyone was still here I took Jacob around so I could introduce him to them all, everyone thought he was cute and they were happy for me and Jaime. Jack from All Time Low was super excited about meeting Jacob, he's like a big baby himself.

After a while everyone left and it was just me, Jaime, Megan and Jacob left. We were all sitting together just watching TV. Until Jaime stood up.

"I want to show you something!" He grinned and pulled me up. I picked up Jacob and followed Jaime upstairs, Megan was slowly behind me. Jaime stopped outside his spare bedroom and smiled.

"Okay, close your eyes" He said.

"What is all of th-" He cut me off.

"Just do it!" He whined. I did what I was told and closed my eyes. I heard him open the door and felt him pull me slowly into the room.

"Okay open them!" He said. I opened my eyes and I was gob smacked. He had converted his spare room into a nursery. It was beautiful, all the walls were painted light blue with clouds painted over the top making it look like the sky. There was a crib, a changing table and a few toys laying on the ground.

"Jaime, this is perfect! When did you do all of this?" I asked.

"I've been doing this for a couple of weeks and I just finished it yesterday while you were still in hospital" He explained. I smiled at him, he's seriously the best thing that's ever happened to me, I don't know what I do without him.

"I love it!" I smiled.

"Look Ellie, I know we said we'd wait till we got married but why don't you move in with me now? It's great timing, I can help you look after Jacob at night instead of having to keep driving to your place all of the time and both of the kids have rooms to sleep in, it would just make sense?!" He said. He was right, me living with Jaime now would make so much more sense.

"Okay, I'd love too and I'm sure Megan would be thrilled about it!" I said.

"Yeah yeah yeah!!!" She cheered from behind us which made us both chuckle.

"I guess we're moving in with you" I smiled.

"Good because I wouldn't have taken no for an answer" He shrugged with a laugh. I smiled at him and walked into the room more. I genuinely couldn't believe Jaime would do all of this. I showed Jacob around his new bedroom.

"Look baby, this is your new bedroom that your daddy decorated for you!" I said to him, even though he can't understand me. He made a gurgle noise so I took that as an answer.
