Bulletproof Love
This Sucks.
Ellie's POV - 4 months later
1 more month. It's only 1 more month till I'm due to give birth to my son. These past 4 months of being pregnant have been awful, I forgot how much being pregnant actually sucks. I've been craving really weird foods and I've been getting really bad back pains recently, it's really not fun being pregnant at all. But I have Jaime to help and look after me, he has literally been my lifesaver for these couple of months. He'll go buy me all the weird foods if I crave it and not complain, and he has put up with my mood swings that I have quite often, you genuinely don't know how much I love him.
"Do you want anything babe?" Jaime asked sweetly.
"No Hime I'm fine, just come and sit down with me please?" I begged. He nodded with a chuckle then came and sat next to me on the couch. Jaime has asked me about every 5 minutes if I'm okay or if I want anything, I do love the man but he needs to lay off a bit with the worrying.
"Is Megan in bed?" I asked him, completely forgetting about putting her to bed as he wrapped one of him strong arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him, which made me smile like a complete fool.
"Yes babe, she's fast asleep" He smiled and kissed me forehead lightly.
"I genuinely don't know what I'd do without you" I said and I truly meant it, without him I'd be lost. Then I kissed him softly which made him smile this time.
"Well it's a good job that I'm here then isn't it?" He chuckled lightly. His laugh is the cutest thing I've ever heard, its completely contagious. I nodded at him then we both turned our full attention to the TV, watching anything that we could find for a few hours.
After a little while I felt my eyelids getting heavy and I was trying really hard to force myself to stay awake but Jaime's comfy lap wasn't really helping at all. I then eventually gave in and dozed off to Jaime stroking my hair with my head in his lap.

I woke up in bed the next morning. I don't actually remember going to bed last night? I then turned over on my other side to face a sleeping Jaime, he looks adorable when he's asleep. His mouth was open a little bit and he was slightly snoring but it was cute in my opinion. After a few minutes I felt him stir next to me, I looked at him and saw that he was slowly waking up.
"Morning sleepyhead" I smiled as his eyes opened slightly, he was squinting because of the harsh light on his tired eyes.
"Morning you" He replied while running a hand through his messy hair. His voice was raspy and covered in sleep which was unbelievably attractive.
"You're cute when you sleep" I said not realising how creepy that sounded. He looked at me weirdly and raised an eyebrow.
"You watched me sleep?" He asked with a amused smirk on his face.
"Dammit! I didn't mean for it to sound creepy, It's just that I woke up before you and just.. admired you sleeping" I explained in a rush but I sounded more creepier than before. I felt my face my heat up so I hide it in my pillow with utter embarrassment. Jaime just laid there laughing at me.
"Don't hide away gorgeous, you don't sound creepy its cute actually" He laughed and made me face him. I looked at him and pouted because I still felt embarrassed.
"Quickly changing the subject, how did I get to bed last night?" I asked wanting to avoid being more embarrassed.
"I carefully carried you upstairs so I didn't hurt the baby, I couldn't have just left you downstairs" He replied.
"How? I must weigh a ton" I laughed. I wasn't joking, I've put on a bit of weight since being pregnant.. how did he carry me?
"You're actually not that heavy, okay yes the baby has made you heavier than usual but I still managed" He shrugged.
"Whatever, let's just go check on our kid that's probably hungry" I said and tried stand up but I couldn't sit up because of the massive baby bump that I have now.
"God dammit, I swear to god I hate being pregnant!" I said irritated. This is what I mean about mood swings.
"Calm down babe, I'll come and help you" Jaime said sweetly. He stood up off the bed, walked round to my side of the bed and slowly helped me up.
"I hate this, I can't do anything for myself anymore" I huffed.
"You've got 1 months left and I'm sure you can handle that, it's not long now" He said.
"1 month is too long" I whined. He just shook his head at me with a chuckle and walked out of the room. I followed suit and we headed downstairs.
"Mumma, I'm really hungry!" Megan whined as I walked into the lounge.
"Well I'll sort out a bowl of cereal for you, is that okay?" I suggested. She just nodded happily at me so I walked into the kitchen. As I walked in I saw Jaime standing there on his phone laughing to himself.
"Whatcha doing handsome?" I said to him. He looked at me and smiled.
"Just texting Tone" He replied.
"I haven't seen my turtle in a while, you should invite him over sometime" I said with a smile.
"Yeah I should do that" He said, "what are you doing in here anyways, I told you to go sit down?" He added.
"Megan wants some breakfast so I'm getting her a bowl of cereal" I replied.
"No, go sit down and I'll do it" He said sternly while walking me back into the lounge. I huffed as I sat down and crossed my arms across my chest. I hate being pregnant, I can't do anything for myself.

Later on in the day Tony came round which made me ever so happy. Neither me or Jaime had seen Tony in a while so it was nice too see him again.
"Turtle!" I smiled as I went to hug him.
"Hey El, woah you've gotten a lot bigger since I last saw you" He said.
"Well you would be if you were 8 months pregnant" I replied.
"So how's the pregnant life going?" He teased because he knows I hate it.
"Awful, he won't let me do anything or myself incase I hurt myself" I explained while pointing to Jaime. He held his hands up in defence.
"I'm trying to be helpful" He said trying to defend himself.
"But I'm sure that making a bowl of cereal won't kill me" I chuckled but he just shrugged his shoulders and smiled.
"Anyways, come inside Turtle" I smiled and he walked in.
"How's everything with you?" I asked him as we all relaxed in the lounge.
"I'm good, I actually have a girlfriend now" He replied with a grin. I squealed with happiness for him. Ever since I've known him he's never had a girlfriend, I'm so happy for him.
"Really?! Who is she?" I asked.
"Her names Erin, she's really great!" He smiled. He looks like he really likes this girl from how he spoke about her, good for him he defiantly deserves a lady in his life.
"I'll have to meet this lucky girl one day" I said.
"You will soon" He smiled.
For the rest of the day we just chilled out at my house, Jaime still didn't let me do anything, all I did was sit and watch TV with Megan and Tony while he did literally everything for me, he's like my own personal slave. I don't take Jaime for granted at all, he's seriously the best thing that ever happened to me. Me and Megan are so lucky to have him in our lives.
