Jaimes POV - a few day later

Today is the day, the day that I ask Ellie to finally marry me. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't a complete nervous wreck, I'm just worried if today won't go how I planned. Vic helped me to arrange some thing's but I've arranged a whole day of Ellie's favourite things to do, so hopefully everything will work out fine. But bad thoughts keep circulating through my head and it's making me worried.

I'm currently waiting for Ellie to arrive so we can start the day together, she has no idea what's happening today. But hopefully she'll enjoy it.

Knock, knock, knock.

The light knocks on the front door startled me from my thoughts, I pushed all of the bad thoughts that I had to the back of my mind and went to open the door. Here we go.
I opened to the door to reveal a beautiful looking Ellie. She was wearing a cute flowy dress and a pair of matching brown sandals. She didn't have much makeup on because she doesn't really need it but she looked beautiful either way.

"Hey babe" I smiled.

"Hey" She said, "I didn't really know that to wear for today so I hope this is okay?" She asked a bit unsure.

"Of course it's fine, now come in" I motioned for her to step in which she did then followed me into the house.

"Soo, what are we doing today?" She asked for about the 100th time since I told her that I was taking her out for the day. She wouldn't give up trying.

"I'm not telling you like I've said the other 100 times you've asked me, it's a surprise" I smiled which made her pout like a little child, I just laughed at her.

"Now come on, we need to go before we're late" I said while motioning for her to leave with me. She nodded and we both left the house. We both hopped into the car and I drove off to the first place on today's list of places to go.
I'm quite excited about this surprise that I've planned for her, I really hope she likes it. I'm taking her to see The Lion King play at the theatre. (A/N: I don't actually know if they do The Lion King play in America but lets just pretend that they do anyways) Its her favourite film and she's been wanting to see it for ages so I decided to take her today for one of the surprises.

For the whole journey there she was getting really impatient and kept trying to get me to tell her where I was taking her but I wasn't going to say a word which got her frustrated. As I was driving she asked me a question I didn't expect for her to answer.

"What's all of this for?" She asked. That caught me off guard, I didn't really know what to say to her.

"Can't a wonderful boyfriend spoil his gorgeous girlfriend for no reason?" I asked with a smirk, well done Jaime.

"Of course he can, I just wondered" She shrugged and looked out of the window for a bit till we arrived. Once she realised where we were her head shot up and she looked at me with an excited expression on he face.

"We're watching a play?!" She squealed.

"We are indeed" I smiled.

"Which one?" She asked curiously, but she knew I would say anything.

"I can't tell you that, it'll ruin the surprise" I smirked. She just groaned and got out of the car once I parked it. I hopped out too and we entered the building together. I watched her as she admired the place, she looked so fascinated in everything she looked at and really happy to be here, which is good.
Once we were sitting in our seats she was bouncing up and down slightly because she was so excited, she reminded me of a little child. I placed a hand on her shoulder to calm her down a tad.

"Babe, calm down" I laughed.

"Sorry, I just haven't seen a play in years" She grinned then eventually calmed down a little bit.

Finally the lights dimmed, music started to play and all the attention was on the stage. The curtains suddenly flew open and in bold writing it said "The Lion King". Once Ellie read that she squealed with pure excitement, earning a few glares and hushes from other people around us but she was way too excited to care.

"Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you, I love you so so much for this" She whispered and kissed my cheek, then she went completely quiet for the first time in the whole day while the play started. She looked so happy, which made me happy too.

After it finished she had a permanent smile on her face, at least she enjoyed it. She started saying how good it was and how we should see it again, she didn't stop all the way out but as long as she's happy then my job is done.

We are now on the way to the second place of the day, this one I'm personally more excited about and I know for a fact that she'll love it too. The drive there took about a good 20 minutes to get there, I could tell she was getting impatient again because she kept asking more and more questions. We finally arrived and she looked at me with a confused expression once she realised that the car stopped.

"A music shop?" She stated but more as a question. I just playfully rolled my eyes at her.

"Just come on" I said and got out of the car, she did as well and took my hand while we walked in. Once we were inside everything became clear to her and she froze on the spot with complete shock but you could she that small smiled that was appearing on her face.

"A Fall Out Boy acoustic session, I fucking love you!!" She squealed and kissed me. She pulled away then dragged me to where everyone else was.

"Hello we are Fall Out Boy and we are going to be playing some songs for you lovely people" Patrick smiled, "this first song is called A Little Less Sixteen Candles And A Little More Touch Me" He added. I heard Ellie quietly squeal to herself because she loves this song.

"I confess, I messed up dropping 'I'm sorry' like your still around.." He sang softly. Even I have a weakness for Patricks angelic voice, I have no shame in that. All through the song I could hear Ellie singing along to the song along with all of the other people. I might have been singing too.
After a couple more of their songs, it was eventually over and everyone started to leave the shop, but my other surprise for Ellie was that she was going to meet them, she didn't know that of course. She looked really bummed once she knew it was over and started to walk towards the door, I grabbed her arms and pulled her back, she looked at me funny.

"Oh no, we're going to go meet them, surprise!" I smiled. Her eyes widened and she pulled me into a tight hug.

"Thankyou so much!!" She said with a massive smiled on her face. We started to walk over but she suddenly froze and she looked really nervous, I laughed at her and just dragged her with me. All 4 members of Fall Out Boy realised we were here and introduce themselves which wasn't really needed because we obviously knew them but they still did.

"Wait, aren't you Jaime Preciado from Pierce The Veil?" Pete asked. Holy shit, Fall Out Boy know who I am, slight fanboy moment. I just acted normal and nodded.

"Yes I am and a big fan but not as much as my girlfriend here who is probably your biggest fan" I smiled. She still looked shocked but slightly smiled with a giggle. Joe then spoke up.

"Big fan huh?" He smiled.

"Y-yeah, sorry I'm really nervous it's just you guys are my idols" She replied nervously.

"Did you enjoy the show?" Andy asked.

"Yes it was fucking amazing!!" She squealed, the sudden outburst from her shocked the guys but I just laughed at her. She hit me which made all of us laugh. She blushed with embarrassment and hide her face in my chest.

"Sorry, fangirl moment" She said quietly which made us all laugh again. After a while of just chit-chat with the 4 guys she became less nervous and started to get along with the guys, before it was time to leave she got a few signatures from them we had to go.

"I'm sorry guys but we really must be leaving, it was a pleasure to meet you all though" I smiled and shook their hands. Ellie looked sad when I spoke up because I knew she didn't want it to end.

"We might come visit you at one of your shows one day!" Pete said.

"That'd be awesome!" I said. Ellie hugged all of them and said goodbye then we left, this is where I started to get really nervous.

Ellie's POV

Today has been really crazy. To start off with the play was absolutely amazing, way better than I thought it would be and then meeting Fall Out Boy was the highlight of the whole day, it's not everyday that you meet the 4 guys you've idolised for years. I don't know why Jaime was spoiling me so much but I was seriously loving it. We then headed home and Jaime is cooking a meal for me, he's never cooked me anything before so this could be interesting.
Ever since we arrived at Jaime's place his mood has changed, he's seems a lot more nervous and not himself. I'll just have to ask him what's wrong during the meal. While Jaime was cooking in the kitchen, I was watching crappy TV to entertain myself. Then Jaime called me and said that it was ready, I jumped and went into the dining room. The table was decorated beautifully, it had candles in the middle and rose petals scattered all over the table, it was proper romantic.

"My lady" He said in a bad english accent while pulling out the chair for me to sit in like a gentleman he is. I sat down and he then sat opposite me. He cooked me spaghetti bolognese which is my all time favourite meal.

"This looks really lovely" I smiled.

"I hope you enjoy it" He asked unsure, but we then both dug in. It was so delicious, he's actually a good cook. We both got into random chit-chat while we ate like we usually do and he told me a few funny stories about tour which I love hearing about. Once we were both done eating I finally asked him if he was okay because he still seemed really nervous.

"I'm fine babe" He said to trying to convince me but it didn't work, I could see right through him.

"Seriously you've been acting really weird ever since we got here" I said. He just sighed heavily as stood up off his chair, "I didn't mean for you too leave?" I added a bit confused. He laughed at me and just pulled me up off my chair.

"Shall we go outside?" He suggested. I looked at him feeling confused but nodded anyway. He took my hand and glided me to the back-garden. Once we were there I completely froze and gasped at the sight that was in front of me. I started to tear up a little too. It was beautiful, there were fairy lights everywhere to make the scenery brighter but what caught my eye and made me cry was the writing made out of red rose petals on the floor that said 'Will you marry me?'. I looked around for Jaime then I caught on where he was and I saw that he was kneeling on one knee beside me with a small velvet black box which held a gorgeous diamond ring inside.

"Ellie, I know that we haven't been together very long and we've had some of the worst experiences during this relationship, but I know that I love you with all my heart and that's all that really matters. We've had our ups and downs but there is no one else on this planet that I would rather spent my life with. You, me and Megan are already a family so why not make it official? So Ellie will do me honour of making me the happiest man alive and marry me?" He asked nervously. His speech made me cry even more. He looked really nervous, I didn't trust my voice so I nodded my head many times and he sighed in relief. He stood up and place the beautiful ring on my finger, it was a perfect fit.

"I love you so much Ellie" He said and kissed me passionately.

"I love you too Jaime" I mumbled against his lips. I felt him smile into the kiss which made me smile as well. I pulled away and looked him in the eyes.

"I really wasn't expecting that" I said which admiring the beautiful ring that was placed on my finger.

"I'm so happy you said yes" He said.

"What made you think I'd say no?" I asked curiously. I knew that's I'd never say no to Jaime. Even if he'd ask me while laying in bed together i'd still say yes.

"I didn't know if it was too soon, but it just felt right" He confessed.

"I'm happy you did, you've made me so happy" I grinned and kissed him again. We both just seemed to stand there for a while in a comfortable silence just enjoying each others company and taking in what's just happened. I just couldn't get over the ring that was on my finger, it was gorgeous.

This has to be the best day of my whole entire life. I can't believe that I'm going to be marrying the love of my life, how could my life get any better than that? I can't be happier right now. I never thought Jaime would propose to me, he didn't seem like the marriage type of man but once I read those words on the floor I genuinely felt my heart skip a beat, I'm a really happy girl.
