Chapter 13 - I Swear I Saw Your Eyes

Oliver's POV

SJ and I had spoken about what she wanted to happen that day. She wanted, and needed, me to listen and obey her. I had to, of course, as this was totally my fault.

First off, she wanted to keep it. She wanted me to choose a name for her, so i would be a big part in raising it. She would find out the gender in just a few weeks. I thought about possibly asking Rain to help me pick the name.

After that, she discussed moving in with me soon. I told her to pack up her stuff and move here in two weeks. I hadn't planned on telling Rain until later, but now i had to. SJ was moving in today.

"Rain?" I asked, letting her lean her delicate head on my shoulder. "I didn't want to tell you... But SJ is coming to live with us."

"Why didn't you want to tell me?" She asked. I opened my mouth to reply, but she silenced me. "When?"

I awkwardly paused. "Today..."

She looked at me funny, and then proceeded to get out of bed. "Alright." She said, pulling her jeans up. "If that's what she wants."

I nodded and watched her leave quietly. She was probably a little displeased, but so was I. She made herself breakfast and tidied up the place, rushing about in an attempt to impress SJ when she arrived.

I could smell cigarette smoke from outside. SJ was here. I clicked the latch on the door and peered down the driveway.

"SJ?" I asked, stepping out towards her.

"What?" She viciously said, sucking in on her cigarette.

"You can't have those anymore. Stop." I said, smacking it out of her hand.

She gave me a look of disgust. "You try having a child on your own."

I speechlessly stepped back and shook my head. "Your not on your own. You have me and Rain."

She shrugged and walked inside, I followed her closely.

"Alright, Rain?" She asked, kicking off her shoes and laying down on the sofa.

"Yeah, you?" Rain replied, but I could feel that she was a bit nervous.

"Apart from the morning sickness, stomach cramps and not being able to smoke, yeah pretty good." She sighed. Rain's expression dropped and she turned away and went upstairs.

"I guess I am sleeping down here." SJ broke the silence.

"Yeah, as you know, the bathroom is just over there. But if you need to shower, you need to go upstairs." I passed her a blanket and a pillow. "I'll be back, alright?"

Rains POV

I heard him walk up the stairs. I quickly got up of his bed. The bedroom door swung open.

"Why are you hiding up here, baby?" He asked, as he grabbed my hand and started to walk me out of the room.

"No." I said, wriggling out of his grip. "I feel like I'm in the way of you two."

He looked at the ground. "No. Your aren't. I promise." He comforted.

Unconvinced, I shook my head. He rubbed my shoulder and pulled me tightly into his chest. "You know, I want you to help me choose the name."

I smiled. "Really?" I asked, now beginning to see the light again.

"Your going to basically be a mother in law." He generously titled me. "And SJ said she wants you to be a big part of the babies life. She wants the baby to be like you." I started to feel excited.

The evening was quite entertaining. SJ seemed to have accepted me now, and we spent almost the whole night joking about and telling stories. She was very funny, and i had taken a huge liking to her now that i had gotten over the nervousness.

"Oh, and one time, not so long ago, Oli had so much to drink, he peed on a girl and I practically had to carry the stupid bastard home!" She laughed, mimicking the lethargic state he must have been in. I cried out in laughter and Oli blushed quietly to himself.

"I'll let you girls take the piss out of me while i'm asleep, yeah?" He shrugged beginning to ascend the stairs.

"Awh i didn't mean to upset you Oli!" SJ barely managed as she continued to cry with laughter.

"Well." I said, standing up from the sofa. "I'd better go cheer him up. See you tomorrow morning?" I said, smiling and still giggling a little. She nodded and laid the blanket over herself before lying flat, stretched across the leather seat. I flicked the living room light off and left her in darkness.

Quality read, I love this story so much, can you check out my new story please? I'd appreciate it and wanna collab

Anyone who is reading this, I'm actually the writer of this story, I just deleted my tumblr account that was linked to this a while ago. I wrote this years and years ago, and I think it's pretty poorly written at the start, so apologies lmao. But anyway, I made a new account, I'm older now so my writing has gotten better, I'm taking English as an A level too so everything is good. I'm in the process of writing something new, but I'm totally annoyed with the lack of views it's getting. It's got a kind of similar story involving drugs and pregnancy and stuff so check it out? <3 Its called "On The Vacant Canvas, We Should Be Waiting", and I've based some parts of the story ie. drugs and fights etc. on experiences that actually happened to me and my friends so it's quite a personal story, as I think it should be.

@SparklyRainbows
Thankyou so much, I've been really good lately, and I hope that you can be too, and I'm glad you're enjoying it :) You better stay awesome too, hun <3

I just want to let you know, I stated until 6:03 in the morning, reading the ever loving fuck out of this. This story is amazin . First of all, this story spans over years, not months or days like most storie . Second of all, I have a real connection with both Oli and Rain (which is one of the character names in my story, too!!!). I struggle with self harm, alcohol, and drug abuse, and this chapter really connected with me especially. Whatever you're going through, I've never met you, but I believe in you. I'm proud that you're five (or more) days sober, and you definitely better keep it up. You're a strong person, and it's really awesome that you're doing good and writing an amazing story while you're at. Stay beautiful my lovely creature!!

I really felt the connection in this chapter with the Alcohol abuse. I really liked this update, a lot x
