You can't just turn back time

Tony's P.O.V.

"All the hoodies are sold out! We're doing pretty good, babe." Jaime spoke.

"Yea, I know. It's almost 3, wanna go on our lunch break?" I asked. Jaime walked over to me & kissed me.

"Fuck yea." Jaime spoke. He pulled me by my waist & kissed me again. Jaime's my fiance, we've been together for three years. He asked me to marry him last month, of coarse I said yes. He's amazing & I couldn't ask for someone better to love. I met him after highschool, even though we went to the same one. He's Jack's cousin, which means I actually see a lot of him. Jaime had been working at a coffee shop before & I'd come in everyday. We instantly clicked. I got him a job at Key Street clothing co. which is pretty great so we can both work together.

"Babe, let's go to subway." I suggested.

"Alright, Tone-Bone." Jaime spoke. That threw me off a bit.

"Wait, what did you call me?"

"Tone-bone, I heard it somewhere & thought it was cute so-"

"No. It's not cute. Don't call me that...."

"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to make you angry..."

"No....ugh....I'm sorry, Jaime. I just don't like that name...okay? I'm sorry babe, I love you." I felt a little guilty now that I'd lashed out like that at him. I just can't stand hearing that name.

"It's okay, Tony...I'm sorry. I love you too."

Jaime & I walked outside & tried to catch a cab, these streets are pretty busy. When we finally did get one, it didn't take very long to get to subway.

"Babe, did you take your medication?" Jaime asked as we sat down at one of the tables with our food.

"...yup...always do." I lied.

"Tony."

"What?"

Jaime crossed his arms & looked at me. I sighed & got up.

"Fine, i'll be in the bathroom." I spoke, walking away. I went to the bathroom & took out my little bottle of antidepressants. I hated taking these. They make me feel like a freak. Needing these to make me 'happy' even though sometimes it takes a few days to work. I took one out & swallowed it along with some water. I walked out & then went back to where Jaime was. He looked so adorable just eating his food there at the table.

"Hello, love." Jaime spoke with a smile as I sat down. His dimples peaked through to the max.

"God, I love it when you smile." I replied.

"Thanks, I like it when you smile too. That's why you gotta take your medication."

"Ugh, Jaime. I can smile without it. Besides, they don't even work. I still feel like shit half the time."

"So you feel like shit right now?" Jaime asked.

"No, I'm with you. I only feel like shit half the time. Half the time you're not with me." I answered.

"Are you suggesting something?"

"Well we have been dating for a while....& I mean...we're engaged now, so..."

"I think I know what's coming."

"Okay, what is it?" I asked.

"You want to live together?" Jaime guessed.

"Yea...I'd really like to. I love you, Jaime. I think this would be a good step for us."

"I think so too...you sure we're ready for something like this, though? I mean I don't want to annoy you everyday when I sing in the shower & stuff." Jaime joked.

"No, I'd love that. I might even sing alone with you."

"In the shower?"

"If that's what you want." I winked. Jaime blushed.

"That would be fun....I'd love to have you in there with me every morning." Jaime spoke.

"So is that a yes?" I asked, hopefully.

"I think so." Jaime smiled. He held my hand across the table & I leaned in so we could attach out lips together. We made a loud smooch & got up, throwing away our finished food & empty tray.

"Alright, back to work." Jaime sighed.

"Here we go."
