The past never changes

I walk up to my bedroom door, I take a deep breath and open it, my mom walks in with tears, oh my god what's wrong now?, my mom sits on my bed and motions me to sit down, I sit down "honey, your father has gotten into more trouble", I start to tremble , "y-you mean?" , she sobs "yes , he's back-" I break out in tears, my mom wraps her arms around me, "its OK baby he won't hurt you, your dad will be staying in an apartment just out of the county and it will draw that man away from here so he will leave you alone", I nodded my head she was obviously forcing my father to do so, "OK honey we all need some rest now, try and go to sleep", "OK I'm gonna get a shower first" I said, she nodded and left my bedroom.

I walked into my bathroom, not to shower though, instead I went to my cabinets where I kept my razorblades, I pulled one out, I shut the cabinets back, I sat on the cold floor thinking about what I had just been told, and I started to slide the cold sharp blade across my trembling wrist, I watched as the blood started to come out of the fresh cut, I then started on another,then another, and continued until my entire left arm was covered in cuts and blood. I sobbed for a ten minutes letting the blood slowly dry, when my arm was dry I cleaned the blade and put it back, I got a baby wipe and wiped the blood around the cuts away,then I headed back to my bedroom.

I changed into a pickachu onsie, I checked my phone as I read

HEY! TODAY WAS GOOD AND IM FINE, HOW WAS YOUR GRANDMOTHER?

i hated to lie to her but I already knew she would be talking to me about it later, she always does.

OK GOODNIGHT, TRY SLEEPING TIGHT

It was very doubtful I was gonna sleep tight tonight but anyway, I curled up in a ball as usual and fell asleep.

I woke up having a panic attack as soon as I got calmed down I checked the time but the second I turned to face the wall in front of me my alarm went off, I jumped up "god I need to change my alarm" I said to myself, I went to my closet and pick out some purple skinny jeans a plain black tank top and a black a day to remember hoodie, I pulled on some converse and made my way downstairs.

I made my way to the bus stop as usual and saw Kathy on her phone busy with something, I walked up to her, "what's up" I say, she jumps up in fright, "god Mel you scared me" I just laughed, "watcha doin'?" I ask casually being nosey, "look at what Vic Fuentes posted on instagram" she handed me the phone, shit it was a picture of me napping under the tree at the park, I have my head buried in his shirt where you can't see my face, he is grinning like crazy, "her hair looks just like yours" she said looking back at the phone, "um" I say awkwardly "it IS me" I say nervously, she screams "what you met Vic Fuentes, cuddled him, and fell asleep on him, and didn't even tell me?" She asked filled with this jealous happiness tone, "um yep, he also told me to meet him at Starbucks today" I said kind of weird, "well, are you going?" She asks ecstatically, "um I don't know" I say stupidly, "oh my god Mel don't even think about it we are totally going" she said, before I could say anything else the bus arrived, it was time for school once again. Oh joy I thought sarcastically.
