We're All Crooked Young

Eight months , it's been eight months and Ronnie just fell off the earth. Noone has heard from her.



Since we've been on tour i haven't had much time to think about her but off tour she's always on my mind.





This tour is different because we're in the UK , our homeland.



I breathed in deep as i heard the crowd roar as our last song of the night flowed through the speakers.




'Drown' has become such a phenomenal song that a lot can relate to.



I looked around the sea of faces that sung along and my heart fluttered.



I saw one girl reaching out over the barrier as tears ran down her cheeks , i jumped down off the stage and laced my fingers in hers as she cried harder and sung with me



"What doesn't destroy you Leaves you broken instead Got a hole in my soul growing deeper and deeper And I can't take One more moment of this silence The loneliness is haunting me And the weight of the worlds getting harder to hold up..."







I let go of her hand and jumped back on stage as the song eventually faded out.



The crowd roared and we all thanked them and walked off the stage.



I couldn't help but feel happy. . Performing always had this effect on me.




All the other guys went either to the bus or to get food but after the set i went to talk to my fans.





Since this was a inside concert , it was more intimate and i like these better.




Fans spotted me and i started signing shirts and taking pictures when i saw that girl again.




After everyone left , she kept her eyes on the ground and kept clinging her necklace in her hand. "It's okay, love. I won't bite." I whispered and she smiled softly.




"I just. .. your music means so much to me... 'Drown' especially is helping me through a lot. I just wanted to thankyou. .. for the music you make. ." She whispered brokenly before slipping her necklace off and placing it in my hand.






It was the symbol of life flower on a long beaded chain.





"I wear that always to keep me safe. .. but i feel like you need it more because your music is what keeps me safe. .. " she whimpered and i pulled her into the most important tight hug.






"Thankyou. .. so much. I'll wear it always. " I whispered and she smiled softly before waving and walking away.





I slipped on the necklace and it hung just above my hips.






After talking to more fans , i left and got on the bus.






I heard Jordan yelling loudly into the phone and all the guys crowded around "What's wrong? " I questioned and they all turned to me.






"Arlet's having her baby .. she just went into labor! " He screamed and we all gasped.







" We need to get there! Where are they?!" I screamed as the bus roared to life waiting on the directions to go.







"An hour away at Colman Hospital" He uttered and the bus sped away.







It felt like decades before we finally got there.





We rushed off the bus and bombarded the first nurse we saw.





"Arlet Jessica Williams? ??" I exclaimed rushing.



The nurse looked us over. " Family or Friends? " She questioned.




"Family! Jona breathed and i smiled softly.



"Room 43, down the hall to the right" She cooed and we all rushed to the room.




I heard loud screaming as we got in the room.. She was sweating with a red face and hair tied up in a messy bun.





She was practically breaking bones in Ricky's tattooed hand.




"SHIT! " She screamed and her head fell back on the cotton pillow. She saw us and relaxed a bit.




Everyone was here , MIW , OM&M , and us.




" Arry are you okay?" I questioned and she looked at me in shock.





"If by okay, you mean being ripped apart by the seams in a constant state of hell. .. then yes. I'm okay" She screamed as another contraction hit.





"She's been in labor a couple of hours" Cass shouted and all the guys 'ohhd'.





We all sat around but then her machine started beeping loudly and a doctor and nurses rushed in.




"You all have to leave! " He barked and we all stared at him.





"What's wrong doctor? " Arry questioned as the doctor looked at the machines.









"The baby isn't getting enough oxygen. He's dying " He uttered apologetically and everyone rushed out except Ricky.











All i could hear is screaming and that machine monitor beeping faster.
