We're All Crooked Young

So many shots later , my heart was racing and the room seemed to move slow. Racing lights of blue, green, and yellow blinded me as the bodies of sweaty men and women danced up against me.




I bounced around to the raging loud music until I was pulled away from the crowd.




I turned to focus on the figure that pulled me and my eyes focused on Cass.



"W-w-ere going to the stars ! THE STARS OLI!!" Cass exclaimed drunkenly and I laughed loudly as we leaned againsT each other and did weird dances.




Tino , Andy and Austin came over and laughed loudly as they video recorded us.




We all danced to the music as they recorded. My thoughts were only focused on this moment. Nothing else , but as if on cue. The music stopped and the crowd roared in displeasure.




"Hey! It's 5:45am. You guys gotta go !" The DJ/Club owner roared and we all groaned as we grabbed our things and headed to the door.







When we finally got outside , I looked up at the sky. The sun was merely peaking above the horizon. The darkness of the night was slowly fading away as the sun rose .








I turned to everyone and we all smiled and hugged eachother. Arlet rushed to me in her tight wedding dress and hugged me over the neck. I leaned down to her height to hug her more.






"I'm glad you came Oli" I heard her whisper softly and I smiled.








"Me too" I whispered as we pulled away and she kissed my cheek before scurrying off to the car. I was about to turn and walk to mine when a heard a call of my name.









I turned to see Ricky approaching me. His hands were stuffed in his pockets and he flipped the hair out his face as he looked at me.









"Listen Oliver , I'm willing to forget about everything. What you did tonight. ...," he whispered apologetically before biting down on his lip. " not many people would have done for people that turned thier back on them. I just want to say thanks and you're welcome to come by the house anytime. " He uttered apologetically and I nodded cheerfully.






"Thanks, Ricky. That means a lot. Hopefully , this could be the start of our friendship" I whispered and he nodded.




"Hopefully " he uttered encouragingly before walking away.





As I walked to my car a block away after everyone left , I saw a girl crying and smoking on the sidewalk. Her clothes looked skimpy and slutty. She was wearing small leather shorts with fishnets , black heels and a blood red leather crop top . Mostly all of her skin was showing.









I slowly approached her and she must have heard my foot steps , she looked up with blazing green eyes filled with sorrow. "W-Who are you? " She questioned sounding nervous.






I chewed on my cheek as the light finally hit her as she got up. She was barely 5"3 with those heels and her long bra strap length hair was a faded purple and slightly curly. Her arms and legs were covered in tattoos.








"Uhrm.. I'm Oliver... are you okay? " I questioned and she nodded frantically looking around anxiously .





"Yea. " She whispered.




"Are you sure? You don't sound like it" I whispered feeling sick all of the sudden from being heavily intoxicated. Can I even drive home? !






The closer I got to her , the more she seemed familiar.



"Do I know you from somewhere? " I questioned and she backed away some.



"No" She whispered brokenly.



"Are you sure? Pretty sure I do ..." I trailed off looking at her more.





Suddenly, I looked at her sharp emerald green eyes again and my heart dropped.




"Veronica? " I questioned feeling guilty.



She looked up and bit down on her lip nervously.




"Hi , Oli. .." she whispered brokenly. So many thoughts flooded my mind and before I knew it. I instantly puked and passed out with Veronica calling my name.
