We're All Crooked Young

Once Arlet was out the hospital , it seemed like she was in a Daze , we all rode behind Ricky's car to their house. When we go there , he picked up Arlet bridal style into the house as Chris and Andy put all the 'get well soon ' presents in the living room.



I took the job of going to get her medication refilled and I threw away those other ones. Apparently , those pills in her system was roofies , probably Matt's doing. I clenched my jaw and ran my fingers through my hair roughly as we all entered the house looking at her.




We all sat in the living room , I sat on Austin's lap and Ricky pulled her into his lap and she sat up stiffly.




It was quiet before she broke the silence.




"Cass told me .. that you're all going on tour" She whispered brokenly and Ricky's eyes were blazing blue.




"Uh.. Arry. . I " he stuttered before she stopped him.


"I understand. You're all rock stars and you all have fans to please I get it." She whispered close to tears.


All the guys looked at her sadly , and she slowly stood up.

"I'm thankful for ALL of you. I'm glad I met you all and right now I'm broken. I don't want to cut you all on my broken pieces. " She whimpered before walking up the stairs. Ricky was about to get up when I stopped him.



"I'll go talk to her" I offered patting his back sincerely. He nodded. " Thanks Cass" he whispered apologetically.


I walked up stairs . Good thing we cleaned up the entire house and painted over the markings.



I opened the room door to see her curled up on the bed crying softly. I sat on the edge and looked at her.


"I know this will be hard Arlet. .. I know you're hurting and you've been through so much-" I whispered before being cut off. "That's not just it Cass... M-Matt got me ... p-pregnant ..." she whispered brokenly burying her head in her legs. My breath caught in my throat and bit my lip nervously.




"I-I can't have his b-baby.. I ju-ust can't. ." She stammered and I held her close.


"Well there's always other options Arlet. .." I trailed off and she got the hint. She looked up at me with blue eyes rimmed with red. "You mean an abortion? " She questioned.



I nodded and she bit her lip nervously. "If this is what you want. .. I know a clinic that can perform it. It's not cheap but they are very discrete. " I whispered and she sat beside me pondering her thoughts.

" O-Okay.. but could you go with me?" She questioned. "Of course babe. I'll be with you every step of the way." I cooed sweetly making her smile.



"Thanks Cass . Could we not mention this to anyone ? Only you knows about what Matt did and what we're about to do." She begged and I nodded.


"I got your meds refilled. . Maybe you should take them now babe. " I edged on and she got up and popped in two pills and swallowed them down with sink water.


After a while , she laid back in bed with me and fell asleep. I slowly got out the bed and walked down stairs to see Black Veil Brides gone and only Austin and Motionless here.


"How's she doing Cass?" Ryan spoke. "Not good... at all. But maybe with a little stably here she can get better. " I trailed off.



"What do you mean stability? " Ricky exclaimed.


"Ricky. . She's a mess up there. . Being on tour with thousands of people and drugs and alcohol everywhere? ? She need a safe haven. This place. . Your house is her safe haven. " I uttered.




They all remained quiet until Austin got up and spoke. "What are you saying ?"


"I'm saying that she's not going on tour with you guys and neither am I." I exclaimed making them all gasp.



"But babe ! I was looking forward to seeing you " Austin begged and I walked over and kissed him passionately before pulling away.

"I love you with all my heart but Arlet needs me. Plus , this tour is only three months and you're off again. I'll take care of her , with the help of BVB and Ol-" I uttered before being cut off.


"No ! Oliver is coming no where near her" Ricky growled and Chris hummed in agreement.


"I don't like him that much either but the fact that he still cares for her means that he wouldn't let anything happen to her." I explained.





"It was one of his FRIENDS that beat and starved Arlet! How do we know that he didn't know about that? ?" He barked.


"Well I understand-" I uttered before being cut off.

"No ! No you don't ! You don't understand what it's like to stay up days on end worrying about the love of your life. You DONT understand what it's like to see one person that's been the cause of so much pain and see red. You DONT understand because you've never gone through that! " He screamed and I was taken back by his tone.




"I DO understand. She's MY best friend. . I was there when you WERENT ! I held her countless nights when she puked up everything but her memories. I was there when she tried to kill herself because she begged the stars for you ! I WAS THERE when she had panic attacks and breakdowns or when she was too weak to get out bed because she didn't eat for days. ! So don't fucking tell me I DON'T understand when I DO , a hell of a lot more than you do.!" I screamed back before grabbing my stuff and storming out the door with Austin right behind me.




As we got in the car , I ran my fingers through my hair roughly and breathed deeply as tears started to fall.



"I've been through so much shit with her... she deserves to be happy" I whimpered as we drove away.



"I know babe.. It's been a long day and night. Let's just get some sleep. " he whispered apologetically as we pulled up at his house. We both walked in and went straight to the room and got naked and spooned.


I bury deeper in his hold and breathed in his scent. "I'm going to miss you so much on tour baby" he Begged.


I turned to face him and those puppy dog chocolate brown eyes. "I know and I'll miss you too. But I need to be here for her." I whispered and he leaned over and kissed me softly.



I leaned into the kiss and he swiped his tongue over my bottom lip and I opened my mouth instantly letting him taste me. I pulled away and got up to walk to the kitchen with my phone. I called the number and they picked up after three rings.



"Hey , this is Cassandra Slaughter. I'm scheduling an abortion appointment for Arlet Williams for tomorrow at nine a.m.?" I questioned and the lady scheduled it and I hung up.



I walked back to the bed and I straddled his hips and kissed his chest right on his scar. "I worry about you.. all the time.. what if something ever happened to you? " I questioned.




"Nothing will happen baby. . I love you and I'm never gonna leave you" he cooed sweetly and I kissed him quickly.









"I love you Austin Robert Carlile" I whispered resting on his chest. "I love you Cassandra Blare Slaughter ... soon to be Cassandra Blare Carlile. " he cooed sweetly and I blushed as I looked at my ring.
