We're All Crooked Young

It's been a week and I can tell everyone is giving up. There's been no leads and no one has seen her. The police officers checked their house for clues and found nothing but her blood everywhere.

"Oi , mate. . What's eatin ya?" Jordan questioned as we fixed up our instruments to practice for our show next week.



"It's Arlet. . They haven't found her yet and I'm worried they never will. .." I whispered rubbing the mic lightly.


"I know you're worried but they WILL find her. You need to keep hope yeah? " he uttered encouragingly patting my shoulder and I smiled softly as Matt N came up to me.



"I know you are worried about Arlet but why don't you go discuss it with Motionless? Maybe they have some new clues? " he uttered apologetically and I nodded.



"Let's practice and get your mind off it for awhile. . " Lee bellowed excitingly making us all laugh. For some reason Jona looked worried and I walked over to him.


"Everything okay mate? " I questioned and he nodded frantically.


"There's something I need to tell you ... but you'll hate me .." he whispered apologetically.


"What do you mean?? " I questioned growing nervous.

"Well .. uh... I .." he stuttered grabbing everyone's attention. "Spit it out you wanker !" Matt bellowed. Jona shot up and looked us up and down nervously. "I... I know where Arlet is .." he whispered.



"Whoa.. what did you just say? ?!" I uttered louder than before. "I said .. I know where Arlet is and I know who has her.." Suddenly the whole house got quiet and all eyes were on him.

"Why didn't you tell me?! WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE?!" I screamed and he flinched at my tone.



"I-I can't tell you.... " he whispered and tried to leave when I caught his arm.


"Tell me." I growled looking dead in his eyes. "I'm sorry about Arlet. .. I really am" he whispered apologetically before leaving. My mouth dropped open as the door closed. I didn't even let my mind catch up as I hurried and jumped in the car and sped to the motionless mansion.



The second I got there , I knocked hard on the door to be met by Chris. The fact that he still hates me gives me no advantage at all.



"What do you want.." he growled.



"There's something you all need to know. ..It's about Arlet" I pleaded and his eyes suddenly softened and he opened the door for me to get in . All of motionless was there and even Ricky but he looked terrible. He was curled on the couch with his head buried in his legs.




"Aye guys... Sykes knows something about Arlet" Chris called out sitting back on the couch. All eyes were on me and I fidgeted around awkwardly. Ricky's eyes were blazing blue in attendance.



"Jona knows where Arlet is..." I whispered and my words hung in the air before Ricky got up and walked towards me. Usually he was all manly and vicious every time he came near me but right now he looked defeated and without a fight.


"W-What did you just say?" He questioned brokenly.



"Jona knows where Arlet is but .. he won't tell me. " I whispered and his eyes grew wide.

Before I could register myself, he rushed past me and left the house. I was left with everyone looking at me.




"I know you might all hate me but I do still care about her.. I'm suffering too." I trailed off brokenly before leaving without their responses. I couldn't think straight and I started get that familiar itch for a high but I know I couldn't sink that low again.



I just got her trust back. I bit my lip nervously and let /Memphis May Fire \ play through the speakers as I headed home.



When I got home , I sat on the couch thinking about memories with Arlet and even after everything. . How'd I end up pushing her into the arms of another guy.



-Flashback- "Babe stop with the pictures !" She screamed laughing as she ran from me on the beach. The cool water and warm sun beaming down on us added to the perfect first date as a couple. I finally caught her and wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her down on top of me. Her body was still wet from the ocean. " have I told you how beautiful you are?" I questioned making her hide her face in my sandy tattooed chest. "Stop Oli. ! " she mumbled smiling and I lifted her head up and kissed her passionately. The sweet and salty taste of her lips remained on mine as we pulled away. We laid there on the beach , making out and soaking up the sun . That day I knew that I'd never want anyone else. .. -End of Flashback-




I ran my fingers through my hair roughly and breathed in deep. I lost the most important person in my life to a guy I hate. I texted the one person who could help me ease this worry .



After about 20 minutes , he came in the house and I hugged him. "It's been awhile Mate... " I uttered and he smiled softly.


"Yeah. . A lot has happened .. I didn't think you'd want to see me. " he uttered. "Well I was in a different mind back then... and I don't want to lose my mate after all we've been through yeah? " I uttered making him chuckle darkly.


"Well if that's your half ass apology for dropping me for some whore then I forgive you." He teased playfully and I chuckled nervously.

"Uh... yea can we just drink now.. I don't want to talk about this anymore. " I stuttered and he smirked knowingly before pulling out some whiskey out his pocket.


"I thought you'd never ask" he cooed walking past me and pouring the drinks in shot glasses.


As we started to drink , I noticed some blood on his white v neck and even with my blurred vision I could see the blood all on his clothes.


"O-Oi .. What's on you're Clothes. . Is .. is... t-that blood ?" I slurred downing my fifth shot.


His eyes grew cold and then a crooked smile appeared on his face . "Oh , I'm getting into dog fighting lately In free time.. you know Americans are strange but they sure can get bloody. " he smirked evilly and I shook off the bad vibe I was getting from him and kept drinking.




After more shots , my vision got fuzzy and I blacked out.
