It never ends

We didn’t say anything as we walked down the stairs. I had to skip some stairs just to keep up with oliver. It was obvious he was annoyed, I had already tried to ask and he didn’t say anything so I guess it best If I just keep quiet.

Weird how someone can go from fun and playful and nice to straight , dare I say, rude.

Oliver didn’t even bother to leave the door open for me even though I was 2 feet behind him. He quickly walked down the hallway and opened the door. I came in after him just in time to see him grab Austin by his collar and drag him towards the hallway. Kellin and vic looked at each other before quickly getting up and following them.

I looked at scarlett who looked confused. Scarlett glanced over at me and motioned me over. Celeste glared at me as I made my way over to the couch next to scarlett. I didn’t bother to ask why she didn’t like me. Even though It probably had something to do with oliver.

“What was that about” I asked laying my arm on the arm rest.

“I don’t know” scarlett said twisting her red hair. “Oliver looked pretty mad” At that moment I heard a yell and clash that sounded like glass. I hope that wasn’t the mirror.

“HEY, KEEP IT DOWN!” scarlett yelled.

“What did you do tyler” Celeste said ,a look of disgust on her face.

“It’s skyler” I calmly said. It’s not a hard name, I mean really.

“Whatever” Celeste rolled her eyes. “I bet this has something to do with you, we were all in a good mood until you came”

“Lay off celeste” Scarlett said smiling at her friends ignorance.

“Oh come on scar, I keep telling you, you should have lied and let her room with some other chick” Celeste was talking like I wasn’t even there.

I heard a slam and Vic stepped out from the hallway trying to contain his smile. He immediately went to the kitchen and grabbed 2 bottles. That fridge never seems empty. I got up and walked over to him.

“what’s going on?” I asked him. Vic turned around and looked at me. He smiled and opened up a bottle with his shirt.

“Nothing” He said taking the bottle up to his lips and taking a sip. “Well, nothing important anyway, don’t worry about it”

He took the second bottle he took out and motioned it to me. I shook my head.

“Thanks but I don’t drink” Vic raised an eyebrow.

“For real? Not even a sip” he said laying the bottle down on the counter.

“No, I’m fine but um” I took a breath before speaking my next sentence. “Was it about me?” I said.

“What?”


“Was it about me?”

Vic took another sip of his drink and wiped his mouth laying the bottle on the counter.

“No, not really” not really what is that supposed to mean.

Suddenly I heard a door slam. Me and vic immediately turned our heads to the hallway. Austin came out, his face blushed red. He strolled over to scarlett, they were started talking to each other. I heard scarlett try to calm him down. I saw Celeste look for oliver to come out. He didn’t. I backed away from the table and made my way into the hallway and in the bedroom. I passed kellin who went over to vic and they started drinking. I peeked In the doorway, Oliver was sitting down on bed leaning against his hands. I slowly walked in.

“Oliver” I called. He didn’t move or make any movement that told me he was listening. I closed the door and called again.”Oliver”

He moved his hands but didn’t look up. I looked over at the wall where the mirror used to be. It was broken. I don’t know who broke it but that’s not a priority right now.

I walked over in front of him. I don’t know if he was mad at me or Austin or kellin but he looked upset and I cared. Oliver sighed and looked up at me, straight into my eyes. I almost melted looking into his eyes.

Oliver grabbed both of my hands and rubbed the back of my hand with his thumb.

“what happened?” I asked.

“Nothing” he said. I knew it wasn’t nothing. I kneeled down so we were face to face.

“So” I started avoiding his eyes. “who broke the mirror” I half grinned.

“oh” Oliver smiled. “sorry” we were so close I could feel his breath. I found my eyes drifting down from olivers eyes to his lips. I felt a tugging feeling inside my stomach to just lean in. We were so close, it was tempting. I don’t know what was stopping me but it was winning the mental battle. Nothing was stopping me.

Just as our lips touched we were suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door. I recognized the voice as kellins.

“Hey, they announced were off snow lock-down, were going to the alleyway hurry up if you’re coming” kellin said banging on the door.
“okay” Answered.
“What’s the alleyway?” I asked. Oliver grinned and got up still holding my hand.
“cmon, I’ll show you” he said leading me out the door.
