The Royal Flush

Vic's P.O.V.
So it's only the first freaking day and already I am the talk of the school. I guess my little "stunt" earlier this morning was much more....interesting than what was expected out of a new kid. Yeah a lot of kids talked about me but not in a bad way. They just seemed really curious I guess. I don't really give fuck about what anyone thinks of me but having people stare at me non stop for 2 periods was definitely annoying.
Thankfully it's time for 3rd period. After making it through the a hallway full of ignorant staring students I made it to my 3rd period class, algebra. I loved algebra! Yeah yeah call me a nerd but I love challenging my brain and what better way is there to do that then by solving puzzles? That's what algebraic problems were to me, puzzles.
My thought on my love of algebra was quickly interrupted by the presence of none other than the entire Royal Flush all sitting in class. They were sitting in the back in the right corner. In the very last colum of seats, starting from the right sat the Queen, Tony, the Joker, Austin, and then the 10, Jaime. In the next colum ahead of them also starting from the very right sat the Ace, Kellin and then the King, Allan.

Seating chart specifically for the Royal Flush looks like this:

Once my feet passed the door frame all eyes were on me. You would think I would be used to all this starting now which I am. But what made me freeze was the fact that the Flush, specifically Kellin was starting at me as well. I quickly looked to the floor to advoid his gaze. I didn't want him to see me blush. Slowly I looked back up in time to see none other than the King, Alan smirking at me. He turned to a random kid on his right and said:

"Hey kid let me have your seat. Go somewhere else to sit."
Nice and blunt he was. But of course the kid didn't even hesitate at Alan's sudden rudeness. In fact he scurried away to another seat and when he sat down, he looked happy that the the "King" even spoked to him. Allan sat in the random
kids seat leaving the seat between him and Kellin empty. I was completely confused by Alan's behavior until his attention was back on me. "Hey cutie come sit over here!" He shouted out so that I and the entire class could here. I blushed at the name. Did he really have to do that!? Why did he want me over there anyway?
Who does he think he is!? I thought as I obeyed his orders -_-

I walked over to the group but I decided not to sit right away. I don't want it to seem as if they can control me so I stood in front of Alan with my arms crosses.

"What do you want?"
I asked with all the attitude I could muster up. In my periferal I saw Kellin lift one of his eye brows and smirk. A hint of blush arose on my cheeks but I turned all of my attention back to Alan. He got out of his seat, grabbed my shoulders and spun me around so that my back was facing him. He pushed me over to the empty seat.

"Aw now don't be like that! I saved a seat for you." He said as he pushed me down so that I was now sitting in my chair. I looked up at him. He was smirking as usual. I definitely had to find a way out of this.

"I don't think the rest of the guys want me to sit here." I said rather quietly as I blushed.

"Nonsence! It's cool!" Jaime began.

"Yeah no problem. We won't mind." Austin smiled calmly.

"Yeah its cool." Kellin finished and of course Tony didn't answer.

"See! It's fine!" Alan exclaimed. He forcefully rapped his arm around my neck pulling me closer. "Look let's forget all about this morning and be friends ok!?" He asked grinning at me. I looked at him seriously confused. This morning he was all rude and mean and now he wants to be friends!? WHAT. THE. HELL!?!? But of course I sigh and say:

"Fine." I said not even attempting to sound happy.

"Good!" He roughly pats me on the back making me cough. Alan sits back down in his new seat. I turn to Kellin, looking at him hoping he could tell me something that would make a little more sense out of all of this but sadly I found find him smiling at me aapologetically. I then let my head fall on me desk out of pure defeat. How can the first day of school be....be so much?
