A Fool's Revenge.

The day after sleeping with Jayme was sort of uneventful. When I walked down the stairs in the morning I got jealous when I saw the look in Ben’s eyes. I could tell he wanted her just as bad as I did, even if I was never going to admit it. When she laid her head on me at the end of the day, I knew she was mine. Neither of us would ever admit to it but we had each other already. No matter what, there would always be a part of us that would think back to high school and everything that happened. I knew she still kind of resented me for it but I could tell just from the look in her hazel eyes that she had feelings for me too.

“You need to tell her.” Vic whispered. I looked down and thought about it, I had thought about it a lot, but now wasn’t the time for deep confessions.

“Not now.” I mumbled and I saw him shake his head slightly out of the corner of my eye. We watched a few more movies and I started to hear something from my right side. Jayme was talking in her sleep.

I love you…. No, please don’t go…. Stay.

I let a small smile pop onto my face as I watched how cute she was while she slept. She gripped tighter to the blanket that covered us and nuzzled her head into my side more.

“Hey, we’re gonna go. We have to be at the studio early tomorrow. See you later, mates.” Danny whispered as he tried not to wake Jayme. It was getting late and I noticed Hime was already asleep. I slowly got up and took Jayme in my arms bridal style and carefully walked her up to her room. Once I placed her on her bed and pulled the covers over her she got comfortable and was fast asleep. I looked at her and couldn’t help but smile at how peaceful she looked. I walked to the guest bedroom and laid there until Vic walked in.

He sat on the edge of the bed and just looked at me.

“I promise I’ll tell her soon, Vic. Please, just, don’t bug me about it” I sighed and he nodded and started to walk out of the room.

“Just remember that she won’t be single forever.” I was staring blankly at the wall when he spoke but I knew he was right. I had to say something before it was too late.

I thought and thought and thought some more about how to tell Jayme that I had feelings for her until I finally felt tired enough to go to sleep.
