Dear Tony,

Happy 4th of July! I’m in New York with my mom, dad and Tate and we’re gonna see the fireworks in Times Square. I can’t wait. And it’s really diffrent from Phoenix. Summer isn’t as hot. But I miss the heat and the sun. It doesn’t seem as big up here. I wish you could of come with us. You could share the bunk bed with me and we could make up more stories of Terry the Super Turtle (dibs top one!). Maybe his arch nemesis Flynn the Flying Frog ran away from prison and it’s up to Terry and his beautiful side kick Bree the Bunny to save the day.

I have to go now, we’re gonna go to central park!

Dear Tori,

Thanks! Hope you had a fun time in New York (dad calls it the Big Apple I don’t know what he means). There were fireworks at the beach too and me and the whole family had a picnic. Maybe next time you should ask your parents to take you and Tate to San Diego and we can go camping in my backyard and look at the stars. That would be so cool and Flynn could brainwash all the forest animals to think they are chickens.

I hope your day is awesome and you have the best party ever. Your idea about that 70’s disco party is really cool. I can’t believe your dad is gonna dress up in that awful white suit and weird afro wig. You gotta send me pictures, dude. You’d probably be the best looking one there and prove that girl you don’t like that you shine brighter than her. You’ll be brighter than the disco ball. Save a dance for me (joke!)

Dear Tony,

Thank you so much for the new sketch pad and pencils :) I love them! I don’t want to use them right away because they’re from you and mean a lot to me. Tell your parents I said thank you as well. It’s so nice that you took the time to get me a present even though you didn’t need to. The party was awesome and everyone’s still talking about it at school. Melissa Stormberg (the girl we hate who thinks she’s so pretty) was so jealous. You should have been there and saw her face. Her cheeks were almost as red as her hair hahaha.

And Dad was so embarrassing with his costume and him trying to roller blade at the skating rink. He fell down so many times. I thought if you were a cop you were good at everything. At least he was having fun. He’s been so busy with his work lately that I barely get to see him. Mom’s kind of getting worried about him. but he told us that he was nearly done with the case he’s working on, which is good. I’ve missed him, which is funny because I see him at home.

Some pictures of the party are with the letter. I wish you were there. That way everything would be perfect.
