Fuentes Next

Sometimes when you're touring you get those really bizarre moments. I know we're just starting out but we do get quite a lot of people coming to see us. I've had a suspicion since the beginning of tour that some of the people coming to see us aren't actually out fans. We've been on the road for going on three weeks now and I'm getting certain of it. The band are trying to deny it but Ethan and Oliver agree with me.
We'd just been for something to eat and were heading for the venue. As we cross the road we could see fans waiting outside. They have so much time. It's flattering but I still think they're not real fans. They're 'fake'.
"I knew it!" I suddenly exclaimed, making everyone look at me.
"What?" Paris asked.
"They're all wearing Pierce The Veil t-shirts!"
"So?" James rolled his eyes.
"They're not our fans. I'm telling you."
"Effy," Fay sighed. "They brought tickets for tonight. They'll probably buy our EP and a shirt with Paris pressuring them. Either way if they're here for us or just for you, we get money." he shrugged.
"I guess." I frowned.
"Effy!" one of them shrieked.
"I think you're right." V said.
"Shall I go over?" I asked Ethan.
"If you want too." he smiled. I always feel like Ethan is watching out for me.
"Okay." I nodded. I started to walk over and Ethan came with me. There were only ten or so fans waiting. It was still so early.
"Effy!" a girl screamed her head off like there was no tomorrow.
"Hey everyone," I smiled. "How are you?"
"Effy you're so pretty!"
"You're so nice!"
"Can I have a photo!"
All the voices are blending into one. "Thank you. Sure." I nodded. I started posing for photos with them. Some of them wanted hugs. I'm not good with hugs if I don't know the person. I'm not an affectionate person.
"You don't look half the bitch you seem on stage." a girl said. I don't know how to take that. I'm not a bitch, am I?
"How's Vic?" someone asked. Oh here we go.
"He's fine. He's at home staying out of my room." I smiled.
"You look like him a lot."
"I do." I agreed.
"Does Vic have a girlfriend?"
"Unless he hasn't told me, no."
"Can you give him my letter?" a short girl asked. Suddenly five letters were shoved in front of my face. I took them and nodded.
"Can you give Fay and hug from me, please?"
"Sure I will." I said.
"Effy." Ethan urged.
"Sorry guys but I have to go now. If you hang around after the gig all the band will come out and we can all talk for a while." I promised. I started to walk back with Ethan and he nudged me.
"You handled all that really well." he told me.
"Thanks." I sighed. I'm just happy they didn't ask for an autograph. My signature is actually worse than Mike's. "Fay!" I called. He looked up and I opened my arms. He opened his arms for me and I hugged him.
"What's this for?" Fay asked as he hugged me tightly and we swayed on the spot.
"A present off of a fan." I explained.
"Okay." Fay shrugged and carried on hugging me.
"I ship you!" a fan shouted.
"What?" I pulled away.
"They ship us?" Fay asked. "Why do they ship us?"
"I see it!" Paris exclaimed.
"Shut up." I grumbled. I looked at Fay and saw him laughing uncontrollably.
Ugh I hate that term. Just because Fay and I both have a microphone doesn't mean we should be shipped. Saying that Jack and Alex are shipped. Dad and Jaime are. What if people start writing fanfiction about us? What if they turn that picture of my head in Fay's lap from when I fell over last week into a thing? Ew.
Fay finds all of this very very funny. He took my hand and winked at me. I pulled away and glared. "Stop." I snapped.
"Come on, we can build on this." he laughed.
"I am not pretending to be in love with you!" I exclaimed.
"He's not asking for love," James rolled his eyes. "Just a quickie here and there."
"I've got it." Paris told me and her and V both hit James hard in the arm.
"Thanks," I smiled. "But no, it's not happening." I shook my head.
We showed our passes to security and the let us inside. "I'm so flirting with you on stage."
"Do it and I'm so kicking you in the balls on stage." I smiled sweetly.
We went into our dressing room and my phone started ringing. I answered it without answering and stayed standing up as everyone sat down. "Hello?" I asked.
"Effy!" they replied brightly.
"What do you want?" I muttered.
"Don't be like that," Mom sighed. "I'm checking up on you. The plane tickets I gave you for Christmas run out soon."
"When do they run out?" I asked.
"Next month." she explained.
"I can't. I'm busy." I said flatly.
"Doing what?" she laughed. "Effy, you're only at school."
"I'm not at school, Mom," I snapped. "I finished school months ago. I'm touring."
"With Vic?"
"No, on my own. I emailed you and told you. Dad told you when he phoned you about my graduation that you didn't come to."
"So who are you with?"
"My own band. Why don't you know this? Every other fucking person on the planet does."
"Don't swear at me." she said angrily.
"I'm done." I sighed and hung up. I threw my phone down onto the table and growled. "Fuck you!" I screamed.
"Effy," Paris said gently.
"What?!" I demanded as everyone looked at me.
"Sit down." he urged. I sighed and did and I was told. Nothing puts me in a good mood like my mother.
