A match into water

I was relieved, Vic had thrown a glass that was on his floor.

*Vic's POV*
I just wanted to be left alone. I was just so full of emotions that I had to do something. I felt like I was going to relapse, but I stayed strong, I didn't want to feel the same way I did when I first started self harming. All the sudden my door was broken down by Mike. "DON'T YOU EVER PULL SHIT LIKE THAT AGAIN." Mike yelled with tears streaming down his face. Grace didn't say anything, she stood there looking at me for a minute and then ran over to me and pulled me into one of the best hugs I've ever gotten. She cried into my chest, I couldn't stay mad at her. "Shh, everything is okay." I said pulling her into my chest. I pulled away and wiped the tears from her face. One minute I was staring to her gorgeous eyes of hers, the next I was being kissed. My stomach filled with butterflies. In the moment, everything was okay.

*Graces POV*
I couldn't hold by my feelings any longer, I kissed him. I loved every second of it. It was magical, I felt the whole world stand still, I was so happy that Vic was okay. "I guess, I'll leave you two alone." Mike said as he closed the now somewhat broken door. I broke the kiss. I just looked at Vic and pulled him into another hug. He pushed me away after a couple of seconds. "Is everything okay?" I said kind of confused. He didn't say anything, he grabbed my hand and placed it over his heart, It was racing. "Hold my heart, it's beating for you anyway..." Vic sang. It was so beautiful in that moment I realized that someone actually cared for me. I grabbed Vic's hand and did the same thing. Our hearts raced in sync. We stood there for a couple of seconds just staring at each other taking in the moments of our new found love. "Vic... I'm glad I met you." I said kissing his cheek. He grabbed my hand and kissed "Can I have this dance?" Vic said. "Of course." I instantly replied. Then all the sudden Vic turned off his music and ran out of the room. I was so confused.

*Mikes POV*
After I saw Grace and Vic kiss I knew he was going to be okay. I went back into my room and decided to get ready for the day, I just finished putting on cloths and brushing my teeth when Vic barged into my room. "Quick I need you to play this for me!" Vic said quickly handing me his acoustic guitar that usually was in the living room. "Dude... I play the drums..." I said questioning him. "Come on man, I need you to play Kissing in Cars for me, remember I taught you how to play it?" Vic said handing me the guitar. "Its been awhile let me run through the song once and then I'll meet you in your room ok?" I said taking the guitar and adjusting the strap. "Okay!" Vic said running out of the room. I ran through the song once, it sounded okay I just hope it was good enough.

*Vics POV*
I trusted Mike to remember the song, he played it perfectly when on tour and that wasn't that long ago, I just hope it will be enough to impress Grace. I returned to my room to find her cleaning up the broken glass on the floor and putting it in the small garbage next to my door. "You don't have to do that" I said kneeling next to her. "I thought we were going to dance?" She said as we picked up the remaining glass on the floor. "All in good time, my dear." I said. We finished cleaning when Mike came in "Ready!" Mike said taking a seat on my bed. "Dude, you know that's a guitar and not a drum set" Grace said sarcastically. Mike started to play and I pulled Grace to the middle of my room so we could slow dance. I sang her the whole song, I could tell she loved it. Mike did a pretty good job for only practicing once before. "Thank you!" I yelled as Mike left the room. "That was amazing." Grace said pulling me into a kiss. I didn't want to pull away, I loved Graces kisses. Our kiss deepened as I led her to the bed. "Movie?" I said pulling away. "Yes!" She said instantly. I turned on a movie and closed all the blinds so the room was dark like a movie theater. My life was perfect, I had the most amazing girl right next to me with her head on my chest. "I love your heart beat." She said.
