Welcome To My Wasteland

It's been about two weeks since me and Mike have been on our first date, and our relationship has only gotten stronger. It's Valentine's day, and I can't wait to see he got me!
I walked into the school, and I sat on steps in front of the auditorium, where our new meeting spot was.
"Good morning beautiful!" I heard his sweet voice say. I got up and gave him a kiss. "So, I kinda didn't get you something for Valentine's day yet.. I was going to, but then I got chased by the cops last night. I promise I-"
"Wait, WHAT?" I interrupted him. "What did you do?"
"Its nothing really, I just-"
"Mike, I'm serious, what did you do."
"I broke into a house..."
"MIKE!"
"It was vacant! And there were no signs that said no trespassing, but apparently the alarm system still worked..."
"Why did you do it?!"
"Me and Jaime were bored.."
"Thats not an excuse!"
"I'm sorry babe... please don't be mad?" He grabbed me by my waist and pulled me close, and then all my anger was replaced by butterflies.
"Alright... I'm not mad. Just don't do it again. Ok?"
"Ok."
"Pinkie promise?" I held out my pinkie.
"Pinkie promise." He chuckled and wrapped his pinkie around my much smaller one.
After that, it was time for me to head to class, so he walked me to my first period, which was algebra. He gave me a kiss goodbye, and then went to his class.

*The next Day*
I walked into school, and was surprised to see Mike with my Valentine's gifts. He got me a stuffed rose 3/4 the size of me, a tiny stuffed gorilla hugging a heart, a box holding three huge pieces of chocolate in the shape of "I <3 U" , and a card in an envelope.
When he saw me, he passed his gifts to Kellin and ran up and gave me a hug and spun me around.
"Happy Valentine's Day, beautiful!" He said.
"For you, my lady." Kellin got on one knee and handed the gifts to me.
"Thank you. Both of you." I smiled at Kellin, and planted a kiss on Mike's cheek.
"Ready to go to class babe?" Mike said, wrapping his arm around my waist.
"Sure." I really didn't want to go, but I knew I had to.
The day at school was just an average day, and I met Mike outside during dismissal. He walked me to my bus, just like he did for the past two months. My principal gave me an extremely strange look whenever she saw us holding hands, and I just blew it off.
Little did I know that the next day, she and all of my teachers would give me hell about my boyfriend.

Notes

So yeah, my ex seriously did break into a house, and seriously did get chased by the cops the day before Valentine's day.
