Some that Changed my Mind
Piece of shit, worthless, go die, if you were to disappear no one would even notice…
“SHUT UP.” I screamed. I quickly sat up from the bed. I had sweat all over my body. Again with the nightmares, they just seem to get worst, it seemed so real. I was trying to calm my breathing but then I felt hot tears going down my face. I was thinking about my nightmare and how I don’t remember most of my life and that made me depress.I don’t remember my family, my own brother, my own life, anything. But what were my nightmares. I just seem to know all the evil things.
I looked over the digital clock and it said it was 11:58 am. Well at least I slept a little bit longer than usual. I got up and stretch. I walk towards the window and see how it was such a beautiful day. I stood there for a couple of minutes lost in thought when I heard the door slowly opening.
“Are you looking decent?” James nervously laughed.
I laughed at his question, “Do you count pajamas decent?” James then opened the door and smiled at me.
“Why aren’t you ready, doll face? I left you a note saying that you have to be ready by 12:30.”
“Shit, sorry I just woke up, but no worries I’ll get ready before you even know how to spell Mississippi.” I said walking towards the bathroom connected to the bedroom. James just gave me a ‘god you’re such a dork’ face and I just smiled and closed the bathroom’s door.
I let all the hot water touch my skin. I felt relax but knowing I had a time limit made me pick up my pace. I shaved everything that needed to be shaved and wash my hair and all my body. Once I was done I got out and wrapped my body in the towel. I blow dry my hair and put it in a bun in a meantime. I decided to just add some eyeliner just to make my blue eyes that I inherited from my mom, pop out more. I made my way towards the room that held my clothes. I didn’t know what to wear because I didn’t know where we were going.
“James, where are we going?” I yelled loud enough for him to hear me since he was nowhere in sight.
“Somewhere, I picked out your clothes, already they are on the couch beside the window. “ He yelled back.
I quickly went there and saw a cute short black with flowers printed on it. There was also a leather jacket there to give it more of a badass look with pink vans. I slipped the clothes my brother picked out and added a bracelet I saw earlier and rings that said “fuck us all.” I saw my appearance in the mirror and liked it. I let go of my hair and it formed to my natural waves. I was satisfied on what my brother picked out and went to the living room where my brother was waiting for me.
“Wow Dollface, you are stunning,” I heard my brother tell me which resulting me blushing.
“Thanks you look nice too,” I complimented.
“Well off we go,” James said while getting off and walking towards the car. I quickly grab my book bag and followed him. I was looking outside my window and enjoying the view. I put on some sunglasses I found in the car and lifted my head up towards the sun because I love the warmness that it was offering. The car suddenly stopped and I looked outside and saw a tattoo shop. I gave James a confuse look.
“Um you’re getting a tattoo?” I asked
“Nope, you are,” he said while getting out of the car.
“What the fuck, why? I don’t even know what to get or where it’s going to be. I can’t.” I complained.
“Dollface, shut up! I know what you want. You practically beg mom and dad to allow you get this tattoo and they would say you could get it when you are older. SOOOOOO now you are. Trust me you are going to love it, I promise.” He said smiling at me.
James’ smile just makes it so much harder to be mad at him so the nest thing I did surprise me.
“I will kill you if my tattoo is awful.” I said in a teasing way.
“No you won’t, you love me,” he said while sticking out his tongue on me.
When we entered inside the tattoo shop we were greeted by everyone. My brother was a usual here. Then a red head made her way towards us and hugged my brother and kissed his cheek. I looked away feeling embarrassed.
“Hey Dollface, this is Abigail, my girlfriend. And your best friend. ” James said.
“Hello,” I said shyly.
“Oh Star, I have miss you a ton,” she quickly walked towards me and gave me one huge bear hug. I chuckled and hug her back still kinda nervous.
“Sorry to interrupt this beautiful welcoming but we have an appointment and it is now, “James said while glancing at his watch.
I would be lying if I said that I was not nervous because I was and also terrifying. James wouldn’t let me look at the design the tattoo artist drew and it made me anxious and mad because this art work was going to be on me forever. The artist began to tattoo it on my side and I relaxed a bit. It didn’t felt anything which I was glad. I lost track on time but then the tattoo artist tap my shoulder, “Beautiful, you’re ready to go,” I blushed instantly. I looked myself in the mirror and I gasp. It was a beautiful. My tattoo was a butterfly with a beautiful flower. A smile appeared in face and I was just staring at the beautiful artwork.
“I’m guessing you love it” James smirked.
“Is it that obvious,” I smiled and winked at him.
I thanked the tattoo artist whose name was Jason and James paid in the front counter. I was talking to Abigail and I actually like her. She was a happy, outgoing and beautiful person. She seemed to have a kind heart and was happy that she was dating my brother.
“Alright we can go now; our friend is almost here so we can wait for him outside.” James said.
“Who’s him,” I asked confused. I was looking at James for his response but suddenly felt like I bumped to someone. I did. I looked up to see who this person was but I was instantly melted into those chocolate brown eyes.
“Scarlett.” He said still holding me. I blushed furiously.
“Oh there he is. Hi Vic,” James smirk.
