Vic's P.O.V.

Today I woke up before Jaime did, I got up & decided to go for a walk. I walked for about an hour, came back & he was still asleep. So I decided to go to the mall & maybe buy something nice for Jaime. Once I got to the mall, a jewelry store caught my eye. I know it's a girly thing to say, but I saw a watch I really liked. The man in the store greeted me & asked me if I was looking for any rings for a 'special lady'. I thought about it for like five minutes before answering. He looked a little impatient. So I answered.

"No, actually it's a guy." I answered.

"Okay, what kind of ring are you looking for? Simple? Big diamond?" The man asked. He didn't even care that it was another guy.

"Uh...simple. He doesn't like anything too flashy." I replied.

"Alright, come this way." He directed me towards where the men's rings were. I can't believe I'm getting a ring for Jaime.

I looked through about eight before I stopped at a really nice, simple, silver one. I asked how much it was & it turned out being affordable. I got it & left the mall. Now I just have to figure out how I'm gonna say it.

I spent the whole drive home trying to think of the right things to say & when to do it. Then I decided to do it later today at a nice dinner after we visit Kellin. I got home & he still wasn't awake. I slipped the little white box into my pocket with the ring & lied down in bed with Jaime. He turned around & cuddled with me. He's just adorable. After a while he woke up.

"GoodMorning baby. How did you sleep?" I asked.

"I slept amazing babe. I was with you, how could I not?" He replied. He pulled me down for a long kiss.

"Hey, we told Kellin we'd visit him today...." I said. He looked at him for a second looking a bit annoyed.

"Babe, we just woke up. Isn't it a bit early?" He asked.

"Jaime...it's 2:11. I woke up at 10. " I laughed & pushed the hair out of his face. "I think it's a good enough time. "

"Why didn't you wake me up?!" He asked, smiling.

"You looked way to adorable to disturb. And besides, my ribs kind of hurt." I said. He looked down at my arms & pulled away from me quickly. It wasn't his fault though.

"No, no! Jaime, you're not making it hurt. Relax baby." I pulled him back in & he hugged me again.

Jaime & I got to the hospital & went into Kellin's room.


"Hey Kellybear!" I shouted.

"Hey Vickyboo!" Kellin shouted back. We hugged. I hope Jaime doesn't get jealous.

"Hey Kells. How are you?" Jaime asked.

"Hey, Jaime I'm good. Everything went great with the surgery & I can go home tomorrow." Kellin said. Thank god!


"That's great!"I said and I had a hand on Kellin's shoulder.

"So, Kellin. Meet any hot nurses while staying here?" Jaime asked jokingly & laughing a bit. Jaime winked at him & I laughed.

"Actually...yea, I did. We got to talking & he's a pretty great guy. He's my type." Kellin spoke. I was actually really jealous now...

"Oh really?...What's his name?..." I asked.

"Uh...Hi-his name is Matty..." I was really hoping this is just a joke.

"So when do we get to meet this guy Matty?" Jaime said.

"Well I'm leaving with him tomorrow....he want's to look after me & make sure I'm okay...I'll be staying at his house for a week. I'm really excited about it! He's just really great, I like so much about him, it's really hard to explain...I'm actually getting that "butterflies in my stomach" kind of feeling with him. You can meet him today if you want though." Seeing Kellin smile so much & blush made me feel a bit hurt. I don't know why...I have Jaime.

"That's great, I can't wait to meet him." Jaime said. I held my head down & looked at the floor.

"That's him." Kellin whispered. I looked up as fast as I could. He was kind of tall, nice hair, nice smile. I can see why Kellin likes him.

"Hey, Kellin. How's my little boy feeling?" Matty said. Little boy? Who does this guy think he is, with his nicknames. He had a huge grin on his face & he had a hand on Kellin's head, now playing a bit with his hair. "I was feeling good. I'm feeling a lot better now that you're here though.."Kellin looked up at Matty & they both smiled at each other. Ugh. Did he forget I was in the room?

"And you two are?" Matty looked over to me & Jaime & held his hand out. We all shook hands & introduced ourselves. We all started talking...he's a good guy. I watched them as they spoke & they seemed so engaged in their conversation. I saw the way Kellin was looking at Matty. He really, really likes him. I started thinking about me & Jaime, & all the things we do, the things we say, how much I care about him & how much I love him. I got up, excusing myself so I could have time to think. I needed to rehearse for when I would ask Jaime to marry me.

I heard footsteps behind me.

"Vic, you okay baby?" He put an arm around me & all I did was pull him into a hug.

"Jaime, I love you. I love you so much." I started crying a little bit. I need to ask him now. I don't wanna risk getting into an argument later today & break up.

"I love you too Babe. What's wrong? " He asked.

"I-Well I was getting really jealous....but the more Kellin & Matty talked, the more I realized something." I said.

"What did you realize?" Jaime asked.

"I realized the way Kellin was looking at Matty isn't the way he looks at me anymore...it's the way you look at me everyday. They sounded happy to just be there with each other & totally forgot we were in there with them. That's how I feel with you, Jaime. When I'm with you I feel like there's no one else around. I realized how incredibly stupid I ever was to let myself fall into Kellin's arms...cheating on you is the worst thing I've ever done in my life. I realized you're the only one I need. I realized that I would never be able to go a day without you, here with me. You mean everything to me & I want to be with you till' the end. " I finished & we were both crying. I love him so much. Then I got down on one knee.

"J-Jaime...I know we haven't been dating for too long & I screwed up, we argue, & we drive each other insane.I know we just got back together... But you're more then just my boyfriend. You're also my best friend. You're the love of my life & I want to be with you forever & always. Jaime...Will you marry me?" I finished & pulled out the little white box. I opened it & Jaime just looked shocked.

"YES!" Jaime yelled. I grinned at him greatly & he picked me up in his arms, hugging me & kissing me. He was hurting my ribs but I didn't complain, I didn't want to ruin this perfect moment. This is the best day ever.
