I ran up to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. He laughed and wrapped his around my waist.
“What are you doing here?” I looked at him with a huge smile on my face. I just couldn’t hide my excitement.
“I had to be with you when you first visited Pairs” He smiled.
I shook my head and kissed him. He just made my day ten times better. I rested my head on his and looked him in the eyes, it was nice. I could stand right here in his arms forever, even if we were weren’t saying a word.
“Have I ever told you that I love you in a tux?” I grinned.
“Have I ever told you I love you in nothing” He winked at me.
I let him go and slapped his chest softly. “Far too many times babe” I winked back.
He laughed and handed me the roses. He knew me to well, I love roses, even though I told him a didn’t because it makes me feel like such a girl. “I don’t like roses” I tried to hide my smile.
“You’re a liar, you love them” he smirked.
“Your right” I giggled and looked at them.
He put out his hand “Come on”
Then I remembered that I was gonna go out with the guys and Katelynne for a nice dinner. I had to tell them that Tony was here.
“Wait, I have to tell Katelynne you’re here”
He started laughing and grabbed my hand pulling me closer to him. “Babe, they already know”
“You planned this didn’t you?”
He didn’t say anything he just laughed. That said it all, he planned it.
“Oh my god, I feel so-“
“You’re so gullible babe, it made it easy” He smirked cutting me off.
“So is that why everyones been acting weird with me?”
“Yes, I was surprised you didn’t catch on but then again you are blonde”
I pointed at him “Watch yourself” I laughed.
“Come on” He grabbed my hand and pulled tried pulling me to the door.
“Can I put the roses in my room first?”
He let out a sigh and shook his head with a smile on his face.
“Ill take them for you mam” The man from behind the counter said.
I smiled “Thank you” I handed it to him.
“No problem” he smiled.
And with that Tony dragged me out of the hotel, like a little boy pulling his mom to the toy section. I giggled and let him do so. We stopped in front of a taxi and he held the door open for me. I got in and he followed behind and shut the door. The driver started driving and Tony gave me a small smile. We didn’t say anything for the whole ride, it wasn’t awkward or anything it was just a nice silence. The taxi finally stopped in front of this elegant restaurant, that looked extremely expensive. Tony got out and I followed and stood there as he paid the taxi man. Tony grabbed my hand and led me into the restaurant.
“Hello, do you have a reservation?” The hostess smiled at us.
“Yes, Perry” Tony said to her.
She scanned the list and smiled. “Right over here Mr. Perry” She smiled and led us to a table by the window. Tony held out the chair for me and I took a seat. He took the seat across from me.
“The waitress will be right with you” The hostess smiled and then returned to her spot.
Tony smiled at me and I shook my head. He didn’t have to spend a lot of money on me, we could have gone to McDonalds and id be fine. But I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was loving this.
“What?” He asked, noticing that I was off in thinking land.
“Nothing babe, im just happy that you’re here, it couldn’t be more perfect” I smiled.
He smiled “Yeah, and you think I didn’t know what you’re thinking. Ash, I’ll spend as much money as I want on you. You do it too and you know it” He said full of confidence.
I smiled, damn he knows me way too well. Freaking psychic.
The waitress came over to our table and placed two plates of food in front of us. That’s weird, we didn’t order anything yet.
I opened my mouth to speak but Tony started to talk “Thank you”
The waitress smiled and then walked off.
“Tony? We didn’t order anything yet”
He smiled, “Babe I ordered already, when I made the reservation”
“Aren’t you smart” I smirked.
He rolled his eyes and laughed. We started eating and talking about how the tours were going. He had two days off till there next show so he took advantage of that and came over here to be with me. Man, he looked so good in a tux; I couldn’t keep my eyes off him.
“Don’t bite your lip, you know it drives me crazy” He looked up from his plate.
“I’m sorry I can’t help myself you look so good in a tux, I think ima buy you some more tuxes”
He shook his head “No, you know I hate them”
“You could just wear them for a bit so I could admire it” I grinned.
“Okay ill do it if you wear a dress more often”
Damn it.
“You know I’m not a huge fan of dresses”
“See! Know you know how I feel about tuxes, and like you said so you could admire me in it, the difference is ill just tear the dress right off you” He winked at me.
I laughed and my eyes found themselves to the window. Oh my god.
“The Eiffel tower is right there!” I looked over at Tony and then back out the window.
“I know, that’s why I picked this place and this table”
I looked over at him and smiled “You just had everything planned didn’t you? Why are you so perfect?”
He laughed “I’m not perfect”
“You are too me”
He smiled “You know if it weren’t for those five minutes-“
“Tony”
“Ash, I’m just so happy that you’re here with me. Losing you for that hour killed me.”
“Tony I’m never gonna leave you”
He smiled “I know, and I’ll never leave you”
We finished our food and Tony dragged me out of the restaurant. We started to walk over towards the tower, the night was just so perfect. I gripped his hand tight as we got closer to the tower. We weren’t saying anything to each other but our looks said whatever it was that we were thinking. Tony stopped and stepped in front of me and held both my hands.
“Do you remember the day when we went to starbucks, before we started dating?” He asked with a small smile.
I tried thinking back; we’ve gone to starbucks together so many times.
“Um we went to starbucks a lot”
He chucked “Well that day I told you I never saw myself doing something and since then my mind has changed”
I tried so hard to remember all the things we’ve told each other for the past years. I smiled at him and let him continue.
“You changed my mind; you are my princess Leia to my Han solo”
Oh my god, I remember. He got down on one knee and held my hand looking up at me. Is this really happening? Oh my god!
“Ashley Nicole Martinez, would marry me?” He pulled out a little black box and opened it.
The ring was beyond beautiful. I felt tears rolling down my cheeks. I can’t believe he remembered the day I told him i wanna get married here, a proposal is just as good. And I thought this night wouldn’t get any better, he proved me wrong.
“Yes”
He had the hugest smile on his face as he placed the ring on my finger. He stood up and I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. After a good five minutes we pulled away and he grinned at me.
“Soon you’ll be Mrs. Perry”
I smiled and rested my head on his chest. “Tone?”
“Yeah?”
“I love you so much”
“I love you so much more”
