I woke up with a headache and the other side of my bed empty. I hate waking up to Ashley not there, made me feel like everything’s a dream and she’s actually not here. I heard coughing come from the bathroom, I signed in relief that she was still here. I grabbed my phone from the nightstand and looked at the time. It was one thirty.
I got up and knocked on the bathroom door. “Babe, you alright?”
“I FUCKIN HATE HANGOVERS!”
I laughed, “Ima make you something to make you feel better” I said.
“Okay”
I walked out of the room and into the living room. Jenna must have left already, I thought to myself as I looked at the folded blankets on the couch. The house was a mess; I could just imagine the back yard. I walked into the kitchen and made her Alka Seltzer Plus. Just as I was going to grab it and take it to her, she walked in. She had her hair up in a bun on top of her head and she was wearing a black tank top with grey shorts. I noticed her looking around the house and then out the sliding door.
“Next time, Party at Vics house” She walked over to me.
I laughed and handed her the cup. She gave me a disgusted look before chugging it down.
“You’ll feel better in a little bit” I said leaning against the counter.
“I’m never drinking again” She put the cup in the sink.
I laughed to myself remember how she thought Vic was me.
“What?”
“Do you remember anything from last night?”
“Mmm no, all I remember is sitting on the floor drinking with the girls” She was now next to me leaning against the counter.
I laughed and started to walk to the living room.
“Tony! What did I do?”
I turned around, “Nothing babe” I smirked and took a seat on the couch.
She left the kitchen and sat on the couch next to me. “You’re lying”
I shrugged and laughed. She smacked my leg and glared at me.
“You’re so abusive” I said rubbing my leg.
She laughed and rolled her eyes, “just tell me”
“You’re lucky I love you or I would report this abuse”
“Tony!”
“Okay okay, calm down” I laughed. “I’m just gonna sum it up, you kissed Lisa and thought Vic was me and you were trying to kiss him”
She looked down and shook her head, “Did I really?”
“Yeah” I grinned.
“I’m so embarrassed” Her cheeks were red. “Oh no! Vic is never gonna let this go”
“Me either” I laughed.
She rolled her eyes and got off the couch. “Lets get cleaning”
“You don’t want Vic to help since he’s Tony?” I smirked.
She glared at me and then picked up an empty cup from the floor and throw it at me. I laughed and got off the couch and pushed her a little. She hit her hip against mine and then laughed. We continued to pick up the living room, throwing things at each other every now and then. It took us about twenty minutes to finish up the living room; we then went on to the kitchen. I picked up the trash while she washed the dishes; I filled up a few bags and went out to throw them in the trash can outside. When I got back in I helped her finish up the dishes and then we swept and moped. When we finished we both looked at each other when looked toward the sliding door, we both signed and walked over to it and went out. Just as we thought, it was really trashed. Ashley took the right side and I took the left, we were picking up all the cups and beer cans and what not. It took about an hour for us to finish. We went back inside the house and fell back onto the couch.
“Ugh! Are friends are messy!” She through her hands in the air.
“I know, I’m exhausted”
“Me too and it’s barely four thirty”
There was this weird noise coming from the room, I couldn’t make out what it was. I looked at Ashley then toward the room. “Do you hear that?”
“What?” She gave me a confused look.
We both stood quiet and listened, there it was again.
“Oh, that’s my phone” She got up from the couch and ran to the room.
I leaning back and watched as she came back into the living room on the phone. From what I could hear, I think she was talking to her mom.
“I know I’m sorry, I meant to call you. Yes I know you’re worried” She flopped back on the couch next to me.
I stood there, listening to her part of the conversation.
“Okay ill make it up to you I promise. How are the boys?” She paused for a moment. “WHAT! Again?”
I gave her a look and she just shook her head. Ashley has two brothers and a sister, Ones eighteen and the others fourteen and I think her sister is twenty.
“I’m going over, last time he did this I couldn’t go over cause I was out of town but I’m here now. Don’t say anything, I’ll be over in a bit.” She hung up the phone and tossed her phone to the other side of the couch.
“What happen” I asked sitting up.
“Dominick got caught with weed at school and is now suspended” She ran her hand through her hair. She looked frustrated. Dominick is the eighteen year old, Ashley has told that his always getting into trouble. I don’t understand why, their mom is strict as hell.
I shook my head, “You gonna smack him” I smirked.
She let out a laugh “More than just a smack, come let’s get ready” she got up from the couch.
“Why can’t we go like this” I gestured to what we were wearing.
She shook her head. “No, I’m not wearing shorts right now, were in the beginning of October and it’s chilly out side” She started to walk away.
“So you’re not wearing any pants? Isn’t that worse than shorts?” I smirked. I just love pissing her off.
“Funny!” She yelled from the room.
I got up off the couch and headed to the room. I saw Ashley slipping into some black jeans, I leaned against the door. She lifted them up and almost fell in the process. “Don’t fall now”
She laughed “Creeper”
“Only for you” I winked at her and went over to the closet.
“Could you throw me your black Love before glory hoodie?” She said from behind me.
I pulled it off the hanger and tossed it to her, she caught it and put it over her head. I pulled out black jeans and my grey hoodie and tossed them on the bed. I took off my shirt and walked over to Ashley who was now in the bathroom, in just my boxers. “I’m ready”
“For what? To take a underwear photo shoot?” She laughed as she checked me out.
“You know you like this” I flexed my arms.
“I don’t know about like” She laughed as I gave her a glare. “I love it babe” She winked at me.
I laughed and left the bathroom and put on my pants and hoodie. I sat on the bed and slipped on my vans. Ashley came out of the bathroom and let down her long blonde hair from the bun and put a beanie over it. I got up and grabbed my Love before glory hat and put it on. She looked at me and smiled. “Ready?”
“Yeah, I got a butt to kick” She smirked and grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room.
I grabbed my keys off the counter and we headed out the door and into the San Diego air. We got in my truck; I pulled out of the drive way and down the street. I went over to change the radio and Ashley smack my hand way.
“I’m listening to that!” She yelled.
“Justin bieber? Really?”
She smiled at me, “And I was like baby baby oooo!” She sang along.
I rolled my eyes and continued driving. I could hear her laughing.
“I’m just kidding babe” She changed the station.
“What! I was actually getting into that!” I put it back on the station and put it up higher.
I grinned at her and she just rolled her eyes.
“Babe this song is annoying” She wined.
“You started it” I laughed and went to change the station.
Katy perrys I kissed a girl was playing. “THIS SONG IT PERFECT FOR YOU!” I Smirked.
She smack my arm “shut up”.
“Did you like it? If so, I really don’t mind it” I winked at her.
She just laughed and shook her head. “You’re a dork”
“And you’re a lesbian” I chuckled.
“Fuck you”
“Ooo right now? I’m driving” I smirked.
“Ugh!” She through her hands in the air.
I laughed and drove down the street where her mom house was. I pulled up to a small two story house; it’s a cute little house, which Ashley adored. We got off the car and walked up to the front door and rang the door bell. Her mom opened the door and gave us a hug. Her mom isn’t your typical mom, she had tons of tattoos and painted eyebrows, she was pretty laid back with us. Mike loves her, we all do in fact.
“How are you sweetie” she said to me.
“I’m pretty good, how are you?”
“I’m good, just stressed” She let out a sigh and walked into the kitchen and we followed behind.
“Yay! Your making arroz con pollo!” Ashley yelled as she stood next to her mom behind the stove. Did I mention that Ashley Puerto Rican?
I took a seat at the bar part of the island. Liz (Ashleys mom) smacked Ashleys arm as she tried to take something off the plate.
“Ow! What was that for?” Ashley said rubbing her arm.
“Not calling me”
I laughed “Now I know where you get it from”
Ashley glared at me and stuck her tongue at me.
“Hey mom- ASHLEY!” I looked over to see her little brother walking into the kitchen.
“James!” Ashley opened her arms and he gave her a big hug.
“How are you?” She asked.
“Good, how are you? I saw a lot of stuff online and I was scared that it happened again”
“I’m sorry I didn’t come by or call, oh that reminds me where’s Dom?”
“He’s upstairs in his room, did mom tell you?”
“Yeah, come with me” She said and they went up the stairs.
I looked back to Liz who was putting food onto a plate. She smiled at me and handed it to me.
“May I ask you something?” I asked looking at her.
She gave me a small smile and nodded.
I got off the stool and went into the kitchen. “How do you feel about me asking Ashley to marry me?” I asked nervously and looked to make sure Ashley wasn’t right there.
Liz smiled and gave me a hug. “Sweetie I’m more than happy, did you ask her already?”
“No, I needed your grace first” I smiled in relief.
She had a huge smile on her face. “I’m so happy I was waiting for this day”
I let out a laugh “Don’t say anything okay?”
“Of course, where are you planning on doing it?”
“Well after these three months were both heading back on tour and were going different places so I was planning on it when she’s in pairis” I whispered.
“Awwh she’s gonna love it” She tried to whisper.
Ashley came in the kitchen with her hand around her brothers arm. “This little shit is smoking right now”
“Let go of my arm!” He tried getting out of her hold.
“No, what the fuck is your problem Dom? You never use to do this, why now?” She said in his face.
“Now you care? Fuck you Ash!” He got out of her hold and pushed her.
She pushed him back. “Don’t you fucking push me!”
“Why don’t you just leave, it’s not like you come visit anyway”
“You know I try my best to come when I can!”
“Whatever!” He tired walking out but Ashley caught his arm.
“Dom, could you stop? You’re only stressing out mom!”
“And you’re not? Come on Ash, she hates that you’re going back on stage after what happened”
“This isn’t about me, so stop trying to change the subject”
“It is about you! I started smoking because I thought I fucking lost my sister! How do you think I felt when it was posted all over the fucking internet! Mom didn’t have enough money to get a plane tickets for me and James when you were shot! I know it’s been almost a year but with the recent shit, I’m scared that you’ll actually go this time and smoking helps me not deal with the fucking emotions!” he yelled and ran out of the kitchen.
Ashley stood there with tears running down her face. I went over to her and pulled her into a hug. She let go of me a smiled, I wiped her tears away and kissed her.
“Mom I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for all this to happen. I know I haven’t visited much as I used too but this years been hectic” She walked over to Liz.
Liz smiled and gave her hug and kiss. “Babe, I know”
“Ill visit more I promise” Ashley said. “Ima go talk to Dom”
She nodded and Ashley headed up the stairs. I sat back on the stool and looked at Liz.
“Ive tired talking Ashley out of going back on tour but she refuses” I said.
“I know mijo, she stubborn but it’s something she loves and a lot of people look up to her. I understand why you guys do what you do” She gave me a small smile.
“I’m pretty sure all this drama is over now”
She smiled. “I hope so” She looked down and noticed that I haven’t touched my food. “Tony, eat your food, don’t make me smack you”
I let out a laugh and dug into my food. I was shortly joined by Ashley and her brothers, they all seemed to be on good terms now. Liz served them a plate and handed it to them.
“Have you talked to Krystal?” Ashley asked before taking a bite of the rice.
“You know how your sister is” Liz said shaking her head.
“Is she still with John?” I asked.
“Yea sadly” Dominick said from the other side of Ashley.
Ashley rolled her eyes “She’s retarded”
“You think” James said with a laugh.
“I don’t know what goes on in her head anymore, she something else” Liz said taking a seat next to me.
We all continued eating and talking about different stuff and what not. They all looked happy and it made me happy to see that.
