Guitars and Love

Ive been at the hospital for two hours now, but it hasn’t felt like it. Me and Alex just have been talking about random things that interested us. Hes getting out the hospital tomorrow, what he doesn’t know is that we’re all throwing him a party.
“We will always be scare buddies” I smiled at him.
“Totally, good memories” He said sarcastically.
I laughed and shook my head, “no”
“Im surprised they didnt keep you for a week” He was half way through the jar of peanut butter pretzels.
“I was stabbed no biggie”
“I was shot in the shoulder I shouldn’t be here so long, I feel fine”
“Its cause the nurse likes you”
“Imagine” He laughed looking toward the open door.
“She probably tells the doctor, Oh doc, he needs to stay here longer” I said in a extremely girly voice.
“But he looks fine, nurse” Alex made his voice really deep.
“Hes not doc, he complains to me all the time about this and that, he must stay”
“Should I go ask him?”
“Oh no! you mustn’t”
“Why?”
“BECAUSE I LOVE HIM!”
We both laughed at how ridiculous that was. We both shut up as the nurse walked in with a smile on her face. She checked a few things on the monitor and then wrote a few things on a clip board. Before she left she had touched Alexs hand and smiled at him. As soon as she was out the door we busted out in laughter.
“Yea she loves you” I winked at him and laughed.
“Shut up” He was still laughed.
“I could see it now, it could be a soap opera or something”
“It should be a Spanish one, itd make things more dramatic” He wiggled his eyebrows at me.
I laughed and shook my head. We continued this conversation for another twenty minutes, till it finally got boring to us. Then things got a little serious.
“You know youd make a good mom”
Wow that came out of nowhere. I smiled at him, “What makes you say that?”
“I could just see you and Tony with a kid, do you want any?”
“Yes and no”
He laughed and through his hands in the air “Well which on is it?”
“Its both because, yeah id like to see a little me and tony running around but then are jobs interfere with that, It wouldn’t be a good life for the baby”
“Have you talked to Tony about it?”
“Yeah, but we both came to that conclusion that are jobs wouldn’t let us spend time with the baby or the thought of quitting our jobs”
He nodded and we stood quiet for a moment. I wouldn’t mind having a child, I think it would be rather nice. But being on tour most of the year would mess that up, and we both really love what we do. Maybe one day we will.
“What about you?”
He let out a chuckle and nodded “Yeah, why not”
“Have you talked to your girlfriend about it?”
“Nah, I want to be with someone I love, I don’t think ive gotten to that point with lisa” He shrugged and gave me a small smile.
“Ah I see” I said, not knowing how to respond to what he just said.
“You know I had the hugest crush on you when I first met you”
I laughed because crush sounded like something we would say in high school. “Im sorry I didn’t mean to laugh, The word crush just sounds so high school”
“I know” He chuckled.
“Why didn’t you say something? You knew I liked you, I told you like a million times when we were on tour”
“I don’t know, I guess I didn’t really see it getting to that point you know” He smiled.
“So is that why you kissed me when you were drunk?”
“Yeah, but that crush is gone it was something of the past”
I laughed “It’s the nurse now huh?”
He busted out laughing “Oh yeah”
“No but forreal, how are you and lisa?”
“Were good been dating for 6 months now, she something special”
“Im glad your happy” I smiled at him.
Im not gonna lie, it was a little awkward but after a good five minutes it got back to normal. We started watching some show that was on tv, we had no idea what was going on. Were just sitting there making fun of how stupid this show was and how it made no sense. I really hope Alex likes the party tomorrow, me and Jack are suppose to come here and get him and take him to a house full of people. Which reminded me, Me and Tony needed to got buy some stuff.
“What does a duck have to do with this?!” Alex said pointing at the screen.
“Right? Its all action this action that and then duck? The fuck?” I laughed.
“Sounds like you guys are watching some intense stuff”
We both looked to see Jack, Rian, and Zach standing there. I got up and gave them all a hug.
“Wheres lisa?” Alex asked.
“She said she be here a little later, she got caught up in work or something” Jack said talking a seat next to Alex.
I looked at the time it was five, Ill leave at five thirty. We all talked about what was going on in our lives or whatever. Me and Alex told the story about the nurse and they all started to laugh. What made it more funny was when she walked in with Alexs food, and Jack being Jack started flirting with her. It was hilarious. It was about time for me to be getting home.
“Well I better go, ill see you guys tomorrow” I got up from the chair.
“What you cant leave” Jack said pulling on my arm.
I laughed and gave him a hug with my free arm. “I have to”
“Not if we tie you to the chair” Rian gave me a malicious look.
“I liked to see you try buddy” I gave him a hug and then gave on to Zach and Alex.
“Later guys”
“Bye Ash” They all said as I walked out the door.

I got in the car and pulled out of the parking lot of the hospital. I got onto the free way and blasted my music loud. I was singing and dancing behind the drivers wheel like the weirdo I am. I got a few glances from people in their cars, they just shook their heads. Their reactions made me laugh. I got off the freeway and down the street that lead to my house. As I approached my house I noticed Vics car, I parked next to it and got off the car. I opened the door to see they guys sitting on the couch.
“Ashley!” Mike and Jaime yelled.
“Hey guys” I walked over to them and gave each of them a kiss on the cheek.
“Hey babe” Tony said after giving me a kiss.
I flopped on the couch next to him and rested my head on his chest. “Hello”
He wrapped his arm around me and we all sat there laughing at the movie that was on. I could be in his arms forever, I just love the feeling.
