Guitars and Love

We sat in the living room with a detective. He was asking me and Ashley a few questions of that day Ashley was shot. Like if we saw anyone that looked suspicious or weird. We went on to tell him that we didnt, and that it was like any other day at warped. Then he asked if Ashley had any enemies, which made me think, does she?
"Have you got into a fight with someone or anything that got someone mad" The detective said looking up at us from his notebook.
Which he had been writing on since he got here.
"All i could think of is our ex drummer, we got into a fight but i dont remember seeing her there" Ashley was messing with her hands.
And when she does that, is when shes nervous or scared. Ima go with both, the person that shot her is still free, how the do you not catch this person at the show. My guess, cause there was so many people at warped, and when the shot went off, all hell broke loose.
"What is her name"
Ashley stood quiet, so i decided to speak for her.
"Natalie Rivera"
The detective looked at me and then wrote on his notebook. I could tell Ashley didnt want to answer any more questions. What made me wonder was why are they barely questioning us now, 6 months later.
"Well thats all for today, thank you for being cooperative"
"My i ask a question" Ashley said looking at the detective.
"Of course"
"Why havent you guys found the person that shot me? Its been 6 months"
"We are doing are best, Ms Martinez. We have been questioning every person that was there that day, thats why its taking so long" he said getting up from the couch.
"Just let us know if you find the person please" I said getting up too.
Ashley stood sitting on the couch.
"Ill see you guys soon" He said and shook my hand.
He shook Ashleys too, and i lead him to the door and he left. I looked back to see Ashley messing with something in the kitchen. I went to her and put my arms around her waist.
"There gonna find the person, i promise" I said in her ear.
She turned around and leaning against the sink. "What if it was Natalie?"
"We dont know that, we cant just assume she did it"
"I wasnt until i remembered the day she told me to drop dead" Her eyes were starting to water up and she had her arms crossed.
"Just try not to think about it" I kissed her forehead and held her hands.
She looked up at me and smiled. "We gotta finish getting ready"
We were finally heading back on the road after six months, and they were headlining. I didnt want her to go back on stage but she wants to because of her fans. Ashley cares alot about her fans, thats why shes doing this, she relates to them so much and also she loves performing. She told that shes not going to let fear get in her way of doing something she loves. I was scared about this, but im happy that were going on tour with them, so i could be with her. We had a few days before we headed back on the road but Ashley wanted to get everything ready so we dont have to rush later. I loved watching her run around the house, its cute.
I knew Ashley had alot on her mind, because she always talks to me about what we are gonna do for our anniversary the day before. Its the day before and she hasn't said a thing, Im okay with it but i have an idea and shes probably gonna get mad at first. I called up the guys and told them my idea. Its not all that but i hope she loves it.
