I watched as Tony and Vic drove away. I have no idea what going on in Tonys head, but im glad Vic went him so he doesnt do something stupid. I went back into the bus and sat next to Alex.
"We should be mopping around, she wouldnt want us to be like this" I said trying to lighten the mood.
Even though i wanted to scream at god for taking my bestfriend. But i remember Ashley telling me that she hated seeing anyone care, especially the ones she cares about the most.
"Your right" Jenna said looking at me.
"If she was here she would probably telling us some corny joke, like she always does to make people smile" Jack said with a smile.
"Oh yeah, my favorite one she told me was, What did the wave say to the other wave? Nothing they just waved and she do a stupid little face, Made me laugh all the time" Alex said with a chuckle.
"She told me one, i think it was, What do you call cheese thats not yours? Nacho cheese. Man she was such a dork" Jaime was smiling as he ran his hand through his hair.
"She told me that one" I said, remembering that day she did.
"I loved when she would just start randomly singing, but it was like lyrics of like five different songs" Jack with a laugh.
"Oh i remember that, she did that yesterday on the show no?" Alex smile quickly faded away.
Then my phone rang, it was Vic. I got up and walked out the bus.
"What happen? Is Tony okay?"
"Yeah, hes great" Vic said with excitement.
Why was he so happy?
"whats going on? Where are you guys?"
"At the hospital, Ashleys alive"
I dropped my phone and stepped back against the bus. No, she cant be. If this is a joke he is a fucking dick! I could hear talking coming from the phone. I picked it back up and put it to my ear.
"Mikey?"
"Yeah, im sorry i think i heard you wrong"
"Ashleys alive!"
"Is this a fucking joke? Why the fuck wou-"
"MIKE! Im not joking! I thought the same thing when Tony told me, but now that she right here in front of me"
"I DONT BELIEVE YOU!"
"Mikey?" I heard Ashleys voice come from the other side of the phone.
No way. Oh my god! No im dreaming.
"Ashley?"
"Yes, im okay im here" She said in the most calm voice.
I hung up and ran into the bus.
"Mike you okay?" Jaime said looking at me as i searched the bus for the keys to the truck.
Then i remembered they took the truck.
"Whats going on?" Jenna said getting up.
"Shes alive!" I said before running out of the bus and to Breathlesses bus.
I walked in to see Roger drinking vodka, his eyes super red. Jake was laying face down on the floor, and Jay was in his bunk.
"Come on, she alive" I said looking at them.
They all looked at me with disbelief.
"Dude your drunk" Jay said getting out of his bunk.
"Im not, come on"
Jay pushed me against the wall.
"FUCK YOU MAN! DONT YOU COME IN HERE AND LIE TO ME!"
I pushed him off me, "SHES FUCKING ALIVE, I JUST TALKED TO HER!"
"You really got to stop smoking" Jake said shaking his head.
I dont blame them, i didnt believe my own brother until Ashley came on the phone. Then i got a message, it was from Vic. I opened it and it was a picture of Tony and Ashley laying on the hospital bed looking at Vic.
"LOOK!" I flashed them the phone and all their jaws dropped.
"No-" Jay was saying.
"How?" Roger said with vodka bottle still in his hand.
"Come on!" I said as i grabbed the keys that layed there on the counter.
I got off the bus with the guys behind me. Jaime, Alex, Jenna, and Jack were standing there looking at me like i was crazy.
"Mike-"
I handed Jaime my phone with the picture still on the screen and keep walking to the car. I got in, as did the guys. Jaime, and the rest of them came running to the car and got in. It was really packed. As soon as the door closed i drove off to the hospital. We got to the hospital and i parked like whatever and got out of the car. We all ran into the hospital and down the hall we once were in earlier. I saw Vic come out of a room and waved me, and then went back into the room. I got to the room before everyone else. I walked through the door to see Ashley sitting up on the bed smiling at me. I ran up to her and hugged her, I felt tears coming down my face. I wasnt crying of sadness i was crying because i was so fucking happy to be hugging my best friend.
"Ow"
She pushed me back a little and put her hand on her upper part of stomach.
"Oh shit Ash, im sorry"
"Its okay Mikey" She smiled up at me.
Then I heard everyone else walking though the door. I kissed Ashley on the cheek and stood next to Vic and Tony. And watched how everyone was giving Ashley a hug and tell her something.
"Aww you all look terrible" Ashley said with a laugh.
"We just have been crying, you know" Jack said with a smile as he wiped away the tears.
"Youve been shot and you still look better than us" Alex said with a smile.
"Cause im fabulous" She winked.
We all laughed. We went from a really really bad day to it turning out to be fucking great. Ive never been so happy in my life.
