Since Ashley was at the studio, i decided to call Mike and Jaime over to help me move furniture to the new house. I know i told her well wait till shes done recording but to surprise her. We already got all the stuff to the other house, we just need the room and her bathroom. I bragged out a box and pull all of Ashley clothes in it, Mike and Jaime were getting all her makeup and jewelry in another box.
I got all of her clothes in two boxes, i grabbed one and headed down to Jaimes truck. I put the box in the back and slip it down the trunk. Then i seen Ashley jeep park next to the truck. She got out of the jeep and slammed the door and stormed off passed me.
"Babe!" I yelled, she just keep walking.
I ran and grabbed her by the arm.
"Ashley whats wrong?"
"Natalie pissed me off"
I could tell, she looked like she wanted to punch something.
"What happen?"
"She was talking crap about how you wanted her and that she going to sleep with you in front of me and how she slept with Mike and this and that, Ugh!"
"What the fuck?!"
Mike and Jaime were coming down the stairs with boxes in their hands. Ashley looked up and then looked at the truck and back to me.
"Awh your moving the stuff" She smiled at me.
"Yeah, i was going to surprise you"
"Hey Ash" Mike said holding the box in his hands.
"Hi"
"Hey how about you go to the gym and just let it all out, I was talking to Austin earlier he going to the gym before he heads back home" I said looking at her.
She moved her hair back and nodded to me.
"Alright ill give him a call" I said taking out my phone.
"okay" she said and ran up stairs.
I looked through my contacts and called Austin.
"Hey man"
"Hey whats up"
"You still going to the gym?"
"Yeah, im on my way over there now, why?"
"You think you could pick up Ashley, so she could go with you?"
"Of course, ill be there right now"
"Okay" and hung up the phone.
Mike and Jaime were looking at me.
"whats going on?" Jaime said leaning against the truck.
"Natalie pissed Ashley off"
"Did they actually fight?" Jaime said.
"I dont know, she didnt tell me much"
"wow"
I looked at Mike, "Did you really sleep with Natalie?"
Mike looked down and then back up at me, "Yea but i honestly dont remember, i woke up and she was there. I was just like fuck! Cause she has a boyfriend"
Austin pulled up and hooked at us. Mike and Jaime went over to him and went to see if Ashley was ready.
"Babe"
She was laying on the couch with her eyes closed.
"hes here?" She opened her eyes and got up.
"Yeah, well talk later okay" i sat next to her.
She smiled at me and kissed me.
"Okay" she got up from the couch.
I got up and followed her out the door. Austin greeted her when she got in. I nodded to him and he waved and left. We all went back to finishing up the packing, the whole time i couldnt stop thinking about Ashley. We put up the last boxs in Jaimes truck and then Rogers car pulled up next to us. Roger, Jake, and Natalie came out of the car. Natalie had a black eye and a busted lip.
"Ashleys not here" Jaime said looking at them.
"We need talk out what just happen, so is okay if we wait till she gets back" Jake said looking at me.
"um yeah" I said looking at Jake.
I told Jaime and Mike if they could take these last boxes to the house, they said yeah and left. We all sat on the floor of the empty apartment. None of us were saying anything, it was just awkward. Ashley and Austin then walked through the door, the smile on her face disappeared quick. We all stood up.
"Why is she here?" She said glaring at Natalie.
"We need to talk about what happen earlier" Jake said looking at her.
Austin told everyone bye and gave Ashley a kiss on the cheek and left.
"Ashley how did everything start?" Jake said.
"She was saying that Tony wanted her and what not"
"Natalie, whats going on with you lately?"
"Oh so its all my fault! Of course you guys would take Ashleys side"
"are you serious?" Ashley said with her arms crossed.
"Everyone loves you! All the guys and there always with you! Oh not Natalie not the drummer! You got a perfect relationship and im just with my ass of a boyfriend! I fucking hate you! You get everything you want! I just wished you could just drop dead!"
Ashley was going to go at her but i held her back.
"Natalie, everyone loves you just as much. Who is the one that is always on the interviews? You! People do love you and ask for you, and your boyfriend just break up with him, we have been telling you that. You dont need to be jealous of Ashley, shes only been there for you! Why are you gonna mess up this friendship for this little thing? Why are you going to mess up this band?" Roger said to her.
"Jealous! Im not jealous of her! oh this all my fault! Well fuck you guys too! Find yourselves a new drummer im fucking done!" She ran out of the apartment.
Jake and Roger signed and looked over at me and Ashley.
"Were gonna have to hold on the new album" Jake said to Ashley.
I could tell that they all were bummed. Then Mike and Jaime walked through the door.
"What happen?" Mike said breaking the silence.
"Were not putting out an album" Ashley said.
"What why?" Jaime said.
"Natalie quit the band" Roger said looking at Jaime and Mike.
"We have to look for a new drummer and we dont know how long thats going to take" Jake said.
Mike was quiet and then said "I could do the drum part for the album so you could put something out"
"For real?" Jake said looking at him.
"Yeah, we have two weeks till tour so i could help you put your album out"
"Thanks man, that means alot"
"No problem, so tomorrow?" Mike said.
"Yeah ill send you the address to the studio later" Jake said.
"Alright since we got everything settled out, lets order pizza" Ashley said trying to brighten the mood.
If when something is bother her, she still manages to put a smile on her face.
"Thats a good idea" Jaime said.
"It could be our last dinner here" I said looking around the apartment.
Ashley was going the same, and smiled at me.
I took out my phone and called the pizza place. I order 3 pizzas and 2 sodas. We all sat on the floor and talked about movies that were coming out. When the pizza guy came we paid him and put the boxes of pizza on the floor and started eating. The awkwardness that filled the room earlier was now gone, and it was nice to see Ashley laughing. It made me smile.
