Fast Times at Clairemont High

"Haha, what's wrong with your face?" Lyric hiccuped. I noticed the distinct smell of weed and alcohol.

"Mike, look what you did to Lyric!" I complained. He shrugged.

"It was her idea, not mine." He responded. I grabbed Audrey's hand and walke outside.

"Hey, Vic." I said, speaking into my cellphone.

"Hey, what's up?" He replied. I could hear Jaime and Tony playing around in the background.

"Well I went to your house and found Lyic and Mike. They were high and drunk off their asses." I said, with a hint of irritation in my voice.

"Oh, great. Do you have Audrey?" He asked. I said yes and brought her over.

Jaime answered the door.

"Hey Lea." He said, kissing my cheek. I blushed. Audrey ran to Tony and jumped onto him, giving him a hug. I pulled Vic away from everyone.

"We have a major issue. My mom hit Audrey. I don't know what I'm supposed to do!" I cried helplessly. Vic hugged me.

"It's okay. She can probably stay at Tone's for a bit." He said. I nodded.

"You don't need to worry about me, I'll be fine. I'm just scared for Audrey." I replied. We walked out and Vic talked to Tony. Tony nodded and mouthed Okay, flashing me a shy smile.

"Hey Hime, I have to go home and pack a couple of things for Audrey. She is gonna be staying with Tony for a few days." He nodded.

"I'll come with you. "

We walked up to my house and opened the door. My dad was working, and I suspected my mom was with her "boyfriend".

"Hey dad, Audrey is staying at a friends house for a couple of days. We are getting her clothes." I said. He nodded.

"I am so sorry about you and your mum. I am filing a divorce, and gaining custody over you guys. I think it would be better for Aud to stay out of the house for a few days." He responded. Yay, dad finally came to his senses.

Jaime me and I hurriedly packed some clothes for my sister. We made sure to get the essentials- hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, and her depression medication. We rushed out the door and over to Tony's.

"I can't believe I'm staying at Tony's house! We are gonna watch all the Star Wars movies!" Audrey shouted. I chuckled.

"Don't have too much fun." I said, giving her a smile and messing up her hair. She skipped to Tony's room and set down her stuff.

"Hey Audrey. Dad isn't going to be married to mom, and were going to be only his children..." I said, waiting to see how she would react. A huge smile was plastered across her face as she wrapped me into a hug.
