Fast Times at Clairemont High

Of course, Lyric had to pick our mall. I hated it, it was full of people that were rushing and pushing you, and downright rude people. The stores there aren't even that great, but Lyric loves it there.

"Come on, let's go into Hot Topic!" She cheered. This time, I willingly followed her. I basically lived at Hot Topic.

Eventually we went to get lunch at the food court. Lyric went over to McDonalds and got food, but I didn't. I just sat at the table, waiting for her to come back.

"Azalea, why aren't you eating?" She asked concerned.

"Uh, I'm not really hungry..." I lied. She gave me a questionable look but kept eating.

"Seriously Lea, I think you've already lost like five pounds this week! You need to eat!" She tried to convince me.

"No, I don't! If I eat anything, I'll be fat... And people will still make fun of me. If I'm not skinny, Jaime will think I'm disgusting! I don't want to lose him because I'm fat." I declared. Lyric raised her eyebrow.

"Babe, you aren't fat. You're beautiful. Jaime loves you for you, and he doesn't want you to change. And the people that make fun of you are jealous." She said. I smiled. She passed me the rest if her food and I ate it.

We walked in to see Audrey and Tony snuggling. They were so cute. We snuck past them and I went into Vic's room, and Lyric went into Mike's.

"I think Audrey and Tony are meant to be together." Vic said. I nodded.

"She really likes everyone, but especially Tony. That's her first crush." I said. He laughed.

"You and Hime are all better now, right?" He asked.

"Well, sort of. I don't really have much trust in him, since he suspected I was cheating on him. With his best friend. His temper scares me, and at times he reminds me of my father." I replied.

"Speaking of my father, it's time for me and Audrey to go home now. Hey, Aud, we gotta go!" I said, quickly slipping on my jacket. We ran home.

"It's almost 9:30! What are you doing out so late?!" My father yelled.

"Our daughter is a whore, sweetie. She was probably selling herself on the corner." My mother commented snidely. Tears welled up in my eyes and threatened to spill.

"Don't say that about her!" Audrey screamed. My mother raised her hand and slapped her. Audrey had a huge red mark on her cheek.

"Amanda! Don't you dare hit Audrey!" My father shouted.

"Sure, I'm the whore. At least I didn't sleep with another man while I was married." I managed to choke out.
