Fast Times at Clairemont High

I walked to the hospital slowly. I didn't know what I was going to do about Aud, I had to take her to therapy now every week. She would soon have to return to my parents, but she could stay with me. I just didn't think she actually would try to end her life.

I walked into the hospital and talked to the lady at the front desk.

"Hello, I'm here for Audrey Mitchels, room 147." I said. She nodded.

"Well, she already has visitors, but I suppose you could go up." She said. Visitors? My parents would never visit her. The elevator dinged as I walked into the hall. I found her door and crept in.

The visitor was actually Vic, and Audrey was smiling and laughing.

"Can he be my brother, too? Please Lea!" Audrey begged. I giggled. I gave her a hug.

"Of course. Come on, it's time for you to get outta here." I said, picking her up. She laughed.

"Put me down! I can walk!" She ordered, trying to keep a straight face. Eventually, it turned into a smile. She held my hand and Vic's.

"Vic, how's your rib?" I asked. He told me it was okay, and Audrey asked what happened.

"Someone kicked him in his rib, so I came to the rescue!" I said, my arms out like I was flying.

"Who are they? I will kick their butts!" Audrey laughed, making a fist and punching the air. Vic grabbed her and put her on his back. My phone rang, and it was Jaime.

"Hey, Azalea. Have you seen Vic?" he asked.

"Yeah, he was at the hospital with my sister. All day." I said.

"Dang, you should bring her by to Turtle's house. We're all here." I told him okay. We drove there, and Audrey was ecstatic.

"I finally get to meet some of Lea's friends! Yaaaay!" She cheered. She basically ran up to the door and let herself in. We had to run after her, and we were laughing.

"Hey, who's this?" Tony asked, opening the door.

"This is Audrey." I answered, holding her hand. We walked inside and saw everyone. Lyric and Mike were kissing, Jaime was smiling at me and Aud, and Tony was watching Star Wars. Again.

"Hello, butter cakes! I-I mean butter cup..." Jaime stuttered, his face turning red.

"Oh, you have a boyfriend, Azalea?" Audrey asked hopefully.

"She has the accent too!" Jaime shouted, running up to my sister and poking her.

"No, he's just my friend. My very weird friend, to be exact." I answered. I introduced her to everyone, and she was kinda scared of Mike.

"Hi, I'm Mike." Mike said, and Audrey looked horrified.

"Eek!" She said, running and hiding behind me. Goddammit Mike. Everyone laughed, except for Mike, who pouted. So, Mike picked her up and hugged her. At first she was screaming Stranger Danger, but eventually she hugged him.

"You still scare me, though." She said. She walked over and sat next to Tony. "Oh, I love Star Wars!" She said. His eyes opened and lit up.

"Do you like Turtles?" Tony asked. Audrey nodded.

"Who doesn't?" She exclaimed.

"Azalea, I'm taking your sister!" Tony said. I laughed. I went to go find Vic, and he was in the kitchen, alone.

"Why are you always alone?" I asked, looking at him thoughtfully. I went over and sat on his lap, and hugged him. He hugged me back, and then Jaime came into the kitchen.

"Hey guys- oh, sorry if I'm interrupting you..." he said, his face red. Really Jaime? You think I have feelings for my brother? Well, technically not my brother, but you know what I mean...

"Jaime, get back here." I ordered, and he listened. "I don't have feelings for Vic, dummy. He's like my brother. I just was upset by what happened with Audrey..." I trailed.

"Sorry, it just seemed like it because-" He was interrupted by me kissing him. It was a bit embarrassing, because Vic was there, but he just smiled. "Yay! Now I have a girlfriend, and she has a cool accent!"

I laughed. "Cool? More like dreadful. I hate it!" I pouted, and he gave me a kiss. He put me on his back and carried me into Tony's room.

"Mr. Preciado has got a girlfriend! Wooooooooooot!" Jaime cheered, and everyone frigging clapped.
