Over the Ocean through the waves

I woke up the next morning only to realise that Vic's arms were wrapped around me .. I havent had a guy sleep in the same bed as me for over a year..Since the band became nr1 my boyfriend at the time left me I wrote a few sad love songs and got over it but I still missed waking up next to someone it was..nice

I looked up at his face only to realise he was staring at me " uhm morning " I said quickly getting out of his grasp and climbed out of bed "Morning" he said still half asleep scratching his neck dam he's cute when he wakes up...

" I'llmake us some breakfast while you go shower" "Thanks where is the shower?" "Right through that door you can use anything except my toothbrush and make up I have a new toothbrush in the cabinet which you can use its still sealed dont worry" "Thanks"

I was just starting to serve up when i heard Vic call "MICHELLE!!!!" I ran to the bathroom "What's wrong are you ok did you slip or something?!?!" "I need a towel!" "You're fucking joking right?" "Please it's cold!!!" I went to the closet and got him a towel "Here finish up its breakfast time!"

I left him to it and went to finish serving and Vic came and sat next to me at the island "do you want to call your friend to see if he's still alive ?" "Thanks" he said taking my phone and dialing a number "Hey to- who is this?" "Madeleine ok where is tony?" " shower ey tell him Vic called ok thanks bye" he said hanging up "Whats wrong you look like you've seen a ghost " " Your friend is with my best friend she's our bassist" " Well at least he's not with some drug lord" "Want me to take you to your place or something? "Actually can I spend the day with you?" "What?" " I want to spend the day with you or do you have work or anything?" ''No it's my day off wanna go to the beach?" "YES" "Ok but I'm going to one without so many sharks which means a bit of a road trip ok?" "Sounds great!" " Don't you need clothes though?" " Ok can we stop by my place for like 30min ?" "Ok let me get changed "

After my quick change I went to see where Vic wandered off to he was staring at an old family photo of mine " Your parents look so in love " " Yea they were married for about 38years if I remember correctly " "What happened? " " A taxi drove into them when I was 20 they both died because that asshole ran a red robot" "Robot?" "Traffic light sorry " I said " Lets go before all the good spots are gone!"


I drove him to his place but stayed in the car deciding to play some pierce the veil and think about 5min later Vic came running out of the house like a madman I just laughed at the sight and waited he hopped in next to me and off we went " You like this ?" he said looking at me " Yea this guy's voice is just amazing " "Don't you know what they look like or sound like apart from songs?" " Nah never saw the point they would never come here so I just like the music" " Oh" he sounded a bit disappointed for some reason "What would you do if you met them" ''Well I'd thank them for the music and drowning out the world when I wanted to escape from it all" "Wow thats cool" "mm I guess " The car went silent for a while

"We're here" I said smiling I loved Strand the beaches were great and the water just right "oh theres a space " " Thanks" Vic helped me unload everything and set up and we raced to the ocean " Why do you have pants on Michelle?" " I don't like showing my legs I said looking away truth is my legs were full of scars some self harm and other from bullies of the past "Look at me" He took my face in his hands and turned me towards him holding eye contact with me "I don't care what's on them you are beautiful and those are battle scars you should wear proudly do you understand ?" "I just nodded and walked to my towel and took them off already getting strange looks from a few girls Vic looked at me and hugged me but next thing i knew I was on his back and he was running towards the water before i saw we turned around and feeling Vic release me "Fuck that's colllld" he whined I laughed at him and without hesitation walked till the water was at my bottom "SISSY!" I called to Vic he gave me a smile and ran in till he was at my length "Who's your sissy missy?" we splashed around for about an hour then went to go tan.. not like he needed it

I was just lying there soaking up the sunshine when I heard some girls speaking about me probably thinking I couldn't understand them [This next scene happens in Afrikaans which means Vic will not understand anything]

"Look at her legs such a shame they look disgusting "
"Yea mummy and daddy didnt love her by the looks of her legs "
"Don't you mean her face" they all burst out laughing and at this point is when I had enough "Hey Vic go buy us some drinks across the road real quick here's the money" "Ok be right back" he said giving me that smile

"He could do way better than her maybe I should go talk to him ey girls?"
"Dont you think she would mind?"
" Ag she cant do anything she's just a little ungrateful girl she's a whore you can see it in her face"
"OK thats it bitch do not think you know me you see things and judge without getting to know a person you are whats wrong with this world you judge and judge and thats something that needs to stop and you cant go around saying things about people thinking they cant understand you because you might get the surprise of your life you are a bully and the world really doesn't need any more people that bring others down and you two are no better if you see bulling you should stop it not encourage it ,stop deciding what others are going through and focus on yourself ok now enjoy your day goodbye"

"He's still to good for you " I heard when i turned around and walking away starting to pack my things "Are we going already?" "Yea lets go " "Can I stay with you again?" "I'm getting the feeling you'll be moving in soon I said laughing but I swear I saw a bit of a blush form on his face we were just getting our towels when that girl showed up "Hey handsome wanna go for a swim with me ? " putting on the most flirty voice and face ever Vic just looked at her and said "I'm actually going home with Michelle here so..uh no thanks its ok" he said looking a bit uncomfortable by it all " See you around she said spinning around and swinging her hips as she walked away
