Over the Ocean through the waves

''Fuck'' I said looking at the time it was 3pm and I had to get ready for my show ,yea you read right my show I'm in a band called We The People (yea i know its silly but we thought we'd never be known) .My name is Michelle I'm 23 years old and I'm a singer/guitarist for the band along with my best friends we started at 16 just goofing around, but know we are quite popular in Cape Town. I live in South-Africa I'm Afrikaans but I really can't sing in my native language so I just sing in English.

I grabbed my phone and called Johan ''Hey michi what's wrong?'' he said ''No nothing what time are you picking me up?'' ''Uhmm at 5? Show starts at 7'' Ok cool see ya! '' Crazy ass '' ''Shut up, bye!'' I said before he could reply I disconnected I practically ran to my laptop putting up my favourite playlist to help me get pumped singing along to the songs while getting into the shower washing my hair shaving and thinking a bit . After about 3 songs i decided to climb out and dry off . I straightened my hair a bit and started doing my make up I wear very little so i just put on some mascara and lipgloss satisfied I strolled to my room and put on a white lace dress and pink pumps .

I started singing along to Pierce The Veil 's Caraphernelia wispering loudly at the screaming bits because I can't scream for shit . After the song i went to my baby i called her Ashley I got her when i was 15 and she was the best acoustic I've ever had never letting me down and producing the best songs of my band , I put her in her case looking at the time it was already 4:30 dam how long was I even in that shower

I decided to call Johan ''WHAAAAT!!'' ''Woah dude '' ''O its you sorry thought you were Angle she's been bugging me again'' ''Someone can't handle being a one night stand??'' '' Sy's fokken mal!!!''[she's fucking crazy] I started laughing at his ridiculous Afrikaans accent ''Ok well mister now you know when to listen when I warn you next time'' ''yaaaa mom'' ''Come pick me up like now I'm bored'' '' Fine on my way bye'' ''Bye''

I started strumming the cords to The First Punch while waiting for Johan I heard my ringtone go off when Pantera's Walk started playing seeing it was Willem ''Ja??'' '' hey you guys on your way?'' ''Just waiting for-'' I heard a honk outside my house'' Nevermind on our way see soon '' ''Kay kay'' I disconnected and put my baby in her case and headed out locking my doors and gate I had a feeling something was going to happen tonight I just hoped it was something good..
