Dad?

After changing I climbed into my bunk and got the letter out.

Dear Jaime, Mike, Vic, and Tony;

This is Daniella and she is my daughter, Jaime is her father.I know that our past is rocky, but I need you to do me one last favor. Please take care of her for me. Some things, that not even she knows about, have come up and I don't want her to get hurt.

So please, for me. I know I did some hurtful things to you, but I need you to do this. If not for me, for her. Please. Just keep her safe she is the only thing that has been able to bring me joy the past 15 years, whether it be with her beautiful smile, corny jokes, even just hearing her laugh makes me smile.

I hope you guys love her as much as I do.

I spent the rest of the night silently crying and reading the letter over and over again. Why didn't she tell me?

~Around 2am~

The bus was silent except for the occasional shifting and snoring coming from the four men. I couldn't stand being in the small space anymore so I quietly slipped out of my bunk.

I walked to the back of the bus and sat next to the window admiring how the stars made the night sky come alive. It was calming and made me forget every bad thought that had come to mind.

"Couldn't sleep?" I turned to see Tony leaning against the door frame.

"Nope" I sighed and continued to look out the window.

"You look as if somethings bothering you, you wanna talk about it?" He said and sat next to me, but I didn't look at him. Instead I looked at the letter I had failed to put down, and slowly handed it to him.

"This letter was meant for you four, from my mum." I heard the crinkling of the paper as he unfolded the letter. I closed my eyes in attempt to hold back the tears, but I realized it was no use as I felt a warm tear slowly make its way down my face. How pathetic of me, crying over such little things.

After a few moments of silence he finally spoke.

"Wow." He said.

"She lied to me Tony."

"Hey no, look at me." I looked at Tony with teary eyes. "I know your mom she wouldn't lie to you unless she absolutely had to." He wiped my tears with his thumbs and hugged me. "Go and get some sleep, we'll talk to the guys about this in the morning, okay?"

I nodded and slowly climbed into my bunk.

"Tony?" I said as he climbed into his bunk.

"Yeah?"

"Thank you." He smiled and I closed my curtain before falling into a deep, peaceful sleep.
